Just got a clearance sale 30% off promotion email from Wolf, but at the bottom was a banner;

Anyone heard anything about this?

They have been try to sell up for a while now.

That's a shame. I know they haven't had the best reputation for customer service but it'll be a shame to see another brick and mortar shop shut down.

I found with them they were pretty decent if you knew what you wanted and were willing to spend - they didn't like window shoppers as much.

Also the sale is pretty bare bones - most decent stuff has either been sold or returned to the distributor i think. But still some gems in there,

Looked through there pistols and revolvers, everything marked with a reduced price,  and practically everything out of stock, bit of a waste of effort.

*stock clearance sale*
*miffed that lots of stock is cleared out*

They used to be really good for Gucci TM glock upgrades. I feel a bit bad as I haven’t bought from them in a while, but used to buy all my guns modify parts from them.

As posted the owners have been trying go sell the business for a while.

I haven't shopped there for years as my loyalty is to my bank account and their high prices tend to make me look elsewhere.

Their website was always like this, I remember seeing some guns listed as out of stock that in reality had been discontinued years ago

Losing a shop is a shame, but it was a rather unfriendly place.  I suspect that more shops will close over the next few years; rising costs and competition from online only retailers will drive them out of the market.

Not been there for ages. Back in the day - 2005-07 - the showroom was absolutely stunning and stocked with loads of cool bits.

But the prices couldn't compete with others online.

Shame, they're about 15 minutes from me but i've never gotten round to going there. Driven past loads of times but never gone in.

Pretty awful location for an airsoft shop though, parking's terrible around there (as is most of this shithole city) and i bet the rent/rates are horrendous.

I'm from Camden borough and went to school in Camden. It's actually quite decent around Camden town, but a shit location for an airsoft shop.

I honestly thought the physical business would have gone by now, pretty shocked it's even still clinging on at all being that far in to London. First gun I bought for myself was from there in 06, took the train one evening after work when they had a late opening. Box thoroughly wrapped up in opaque plastic bags and nobody cared, but felt very paranoid on that trip home. Of course just my luck there had been some sort of incident at the station where I got off so a few of the fuzz floating around, to just to make teenage me extra tense.

Oh, I know that feeling... Back in about 1994-95 I picked up a deactivated Bren Mk1 from a shop in London (Angel Islington I think), it was in a long cardboard box but it was still in the IRA era and I must have been sweating buckets carrying this on the underground, once I got to my destination station Euston (again I think) I went to the transport police to ask if they wanted to hold on to it till my train to Edinburgh in a few hours. Their answer was no, just leave it in left luggage.

I was astounded TBH.
