rj1986 Posted Monday at 09:00 Share Posted Monday at 09:00 I found with them they were pretty decent if you knew what you wanted and were willing to spend - they didn't like window shoppers as much. Also the sale is pretty bare bones - most decent stuff has either been sold or returned to the distributor i think. But still some gems in there,
novioman Posted Monday at 10:58 Share Posted Monday at 10:58 Looked through there pistols and revolvers, everything marked with a reduced price, and practically everything out of stock, bit of a waste of effort. MistakenMexican

I feel a bit bad as I haven’t bought from them in a while, but used to buy all my guns modify parts from them. Cannonfodder Posted Monday at 16:07 Share Posted Monday at 16:07 As posted the owners have been trying go sell the business for a while. I haven't shopped there for years as my loyalty is to my bank account and their high prices tend to make me look elsewhere. 5 hours ago, novioman said: practically everything out of stock, Their website was always like this, I remember seeing some guns listed as out of stock that in reality had been discontinued years ago Austeyr, MistakenMexican and Lozart
Krisz Posted Monday at 16:32 Share Posted Monday at 16:32 I wanted to say focusing mainly on Maruis might be not the best business decision when people are more skint than ever but then I remembered that Eagle6 is doing just fine.
Colin Allen Posted Monday at 17:15 Share Posted Monday at 17:15 Losing a shop is a shame, but it was a rather unfriendly place. I suspect that more shops will close over the next few years; rising costs and competition from online only retailers will drive them out of the market. Dentonboy Posted Monday at 17:18 Share Posted Monday at 17:18 Not been there for ages. Back in the day - 2005-07 - the showroom was absolutely stunning and stocked with loads of cool bits. But the prices couldn't compete with others online. Galvatron and Jacob Wright
Anonymoose Posted Monday at 17:33 Share Posted Monday at 17:33 Shame, they're about 15 minutes from me but i've never gotten round to going there. Driven past loads of times but never gone in. Pretty awful location for an airsoft shop though, parking's terrible around there (as is most of this shithole city) and i bet the rent/rates are horrendous. Supporters TheFull9 Posted Monday at 19:39 Supporters Share Posted Monday at 19:39 I honestly thought the physical business would have gone by now, pretty shocked it's even still clinging on at all being that far in to London. First gun I bought for myself was from there in 06, took the train one evening after work when they had a late opening. Box thoroughly wrapped up in opaque plastic bags and nobody cared, but felt very paranoid on that trip home. Of course just my luck there had been some sort of incident at the station where I got off so a few of the fuzz floating around, to just to make teenage me extra tense. ButcherBill Posted Monday at 19:48 Share Posted Monday at 19:48 Oh, I know that feeling... Back in about 1994-95 I picked up a deactivated Bren Mk1 from a shop in London (Angel Islington I think), it was in a long cardboard box but it was still in the IRA era and I must have been sweating buckets carrying this on the underground, once I got to my destination station Euston (again I think) I went to the transport police to ask if they wanted to hold on to it till my train to Edinburgh in a few hours. Their answer was no, just leave it in left luggage. I was astounded TBH. MistakenMexican, Tackle, TheFull9 and 1 other 2
Cannonfodder Posted Wednesday at 15:22 Share Posted Wednesday at 15:22 (edited) Going to their website via google it brought up their opening times. Monday 11 am–5 pm Tuesday Closed Wednesday Closed Thursday 12–7:30 pm Friday Closed Saturday 11 am–5 pm Sunday Closed I'm guessing either they're not getting enough walk in customers to justify opening monday to saturday all day or they're trying everything to stop the business going bankrupt. The fact they're trying and failing to sell up makes me think the second one is more likely Edit: I now remember another reason I didn't shop there much. God that site is a pain in the arse to browse on a phone Edited Wednesday at 15:51 by Cannonfodder

Just about all of the phones for those Magpul cases are obsolete where today's apps won't run on them and/or they would be useless for data out of the home or office because they only don't have 4G or 5G connectivity. AGL Airsoft is also just 5 minutes away on foot and while it's not sprawling with products, it has value-added services with a shooting range. I haven't been there but I'd imagine its staff are less... curmudgeonly than those at Wolf Armouries. Tackle and Cannonfodder

BigStew
Well a bit disappointed. Order turned up today. They phoned yesterday to say a few items weren't in stock so did a few substitutions. Well substitutions present however pistol order was not and obviously they aren't open today so awaiting an email response.
