So had a quick look nothing found SO here we go , what bits of kit have you seen/owned that made you think “WTF did I just see or WHAT possessed me to buy it in the first place ? ! 

Heres my starter for ten an inflatable/water fillable carrier insert ! ?

as my son frequently says , “why ? Just why ?” ?‍♂️

people carrying glow sticks, i just don't get it, you're not gonna use them and you're more likely to sit on it and end up accidentally having a glowing marker hanging off you.

 

only time i'd contemplate it is next night shoot i'm taking me some ir glowsticks to hand out to the team so i know who not to shoot.

Normally you put a radio inside the case, I prefer the look of a 152 so I understand why they do it!

Checked rooms, normal glow sticks chucked into a room mean numerous things like it’s been searched. Works well if more than one callsign is searching areas.

German Army Face warmer. I still might pick one up for winter, but I'm sure I'll never wear it! lol I'm sure a balaclava is 100% better suited to the task.

Meh. Lots of people don't run any sort of plates at all anyway. But, a rigid system that you can fill with water is definitely a viable alternative to hydration bladders or, even worse, canteens hanging off your pants.

There must have been collectively over 100kg of needless pouches, attachments, backpacks and kit being lugged around the game site collectively easily!!

You should see the site i work at... there's 3 or 4 people that week in week out try and carry around 3 or 4 guns at a time, plus gear.

I'm assuming that being able to drink from these is almost mimicking the below link, the below is far superior and I am still contemplating getting one at some point.
