RostokMcSpoons
Class music there, @ak2m4 I was playing along to that on my geeeeetar (via ChordU.com) at lunchtime. My playlist is a melange of prog rock... Porcupine Tree, Genesis, Rush, Marillion, and classic indie stuff from the 80s onwards. But dearest to my heart... Cardiacs. Normal people hate 'em. ak2m4 and Skullchewer

Two of my favourite bands, back to back, at my favourite festival. It was a great day. 16 minutes ago, RostokMcSpoons said: Cardiacs. That's some good taste right there. Asomodai
Carcass and Death. Used to play covers of them in a previous life whilst touring in a Melodic Death Metal band. Crystal mountain was ace to play live! Lozart

RostokMcSpoons
Ahah! The good ol' smash hit that was "Is This The Life", single of the week on BBC Radio 1 I shall enlighten you - Tim (Gawd bless 'im) referred to the mosh pit as the 'Pond' and we were all little fishes swimming in it.... so 'pondies'. If you've been to any Cardiacs gigs and bounced around in the mosh pit, you'll perhaps have bounced off me at some point! I was an active member on the Cardiacs chat list for most of its existence, and funnily enough the Tuvan throat singing was a very popular thing for a while. It's pretty damned cool, though I never really got into it.. bits of it give me some Dead Can Dance vibes (I was well into them for a while) Edited October 11, 2022 by RostokMcSpoons Skullchewer and bedolaga 1

RostokMcSpoons
Not really listening to music as such, but as I'm trying to learn how to play my guitars (all 4 of 'em) I have a long list of Top Choons that I try to play along to. Everything and anything, quite lidddderally from ABBA to ZZ Top as long as I can use Chordu to get the simple chords so I can try to wrangle some rhythm guitarishness out of 'em. God bless him and his Canadian cotton socks, but Mr Bryan Adams has written some hits aren't really 'my taste' but that are damned fun to play along to, and not too tricky. Same for a bunch of other popsters. I'll give anything a go. Luckily though, I'm finally getting to the point where I can hit on the beloved Cardiacs, for some of the simpler (slower, less stoppy-starty) numbers... and this epic is the current fave for strumming along to https://chordu.com/chords-tabs-cardiacs-dirty-boy-id_d-dd4fMUhAY gavinkempsell
Speedbird_666
This is a bit of a guilty pleasure for me at the moment. And it's AI generated - which makes it all the more 'wrong': And there's this Tool cover which I actually prefer to the original: Edited January 12 by Speedbird_666 gavinkempsell
