  1. You dont need to display anything if carrying in a personal car your only under scope if transporting commercially
  2. I think shotguns would be a fun alternative to an AEG in CQB (not as a first RIF obviously) but the performance is what puts me off despite them being <£100. Can you do much (or anything) to spring shotguns to make them reach the higher end of UK limits? My understanding is their FPS is usually around 250fps and (on spring pump actions) and if you install stronger springs it makes the pump action really difficult from i've read. Most tri-shot shotguns are all fixed hop too right so are picky with what BB weight they'll use though I suspect some DIY could resolve this. At some point I'd love one of the APS shell ejecting shotguns but they're expensive
  3. Even those little drones draw some mighty amps at fully throttle as they whizz about. You'll see 70C or even 100C packs being used. There's some tests online you can Google. I use xt connectors, because they are better so I don't need to repurpose anything, Nuprol do some life packs, I have one and it's fine. https://www.tactical-clothing.co.uk/product/nuprol-np-power-1100mah-99v-20c-li-fe-slim-stick-type-battery-216629?gclid=CjwKCAiAjfyqBhAsEiwA-UdzJDECrsOk5S3L-TZEarDw3YC1QjQkIYJuQ9zcAi3Kpuk0A0wBlpJ8LBoCUkEQAvD_BwE
  4. Running a gas blowback rifle is much more akin to sniping than anything else, as you're carefully flinging single shots rather than spamming (well, most of the time anyway) For that it's important to be able to see the flight of your BB and then to be able to correct the aim for follow up shots, and for that I've found running an LPVO (typically set at ~3X magnification) is really useful. All the times I've gone back to a red dot I've missed that magnification. (I had bought a Eotech clone specifically for my 416 because it looks brilliant on it) Not the case when I'm running an AEG, where I really prefer the red dot. Edit: Having written that out, I realize a good compromise would be the Eotech paired with a Flip-To-Side magnifier! Well, that's something else to spend some dosh on)
  5. We could spend ages talking about nylon. Tell us what RIFs you have and how much crap you intend to carry with you! Kit selection is heavily based on your play style and your supply requirements. I, for example, have different kits for different uses: If I'm playing a "short" event, with not many kilometres involved, I run a chest rig, shooter's belt and small (9L) backpack. When kilometres and play hours increase (8h+) I switch to a battle belt and either a small (9L) or medium (20L) backpack. Pack selection is also based on expected weather/temperatures and event duration. For regular skirmishes anything goes, really. Depending on the RIF I use I may not even wear any nylon, just a small pack with comms, BBs and water.

Picked this up recently on impulse, I've always liked them, or the idea of them but didn't suit me. It's in great condition as you can see from the pictures, virtually as new bar a couple of small marks. It's a big gun, so bare that in mind of you're short like me. Previous owner had a scope on it and I can see why, shoots like a laser. Included is the rifle, high cap mag, sling, and the sight rail, which can be removed if you like your iron sights. It is the etu and MOSFET version £200 or open to trades, open to just about anything, would like an MP5k or pdw or trade towards a scorpion Evo atek

I was planning on using this for a G3 SBS build but I just have very little free time at the moment. It looks to me like the bits included here are completely new, it's just been used as a source for spare parts. It still has the "hop up" tag attached to the front sling loop It's missing handguard, stock, pistol grip, selector switch. It might be missing more but I've not noticed anything else. £45 posted.

  10. General note on original molle issued gear and collecting. Build quality: Mostly well constructed as with US issues kit. More than adequate for pew pew larping. Bare in mind it was made to a budget, sometimes in a prison sew shop, rather than skilled Vietnamese children. There is a variation in materials and sewing quality. Pouch dimensions can be a bit off so you will have, mag pouches typically, that are very snug. Packs often have a lot of loose threads inside. If you was with them do so with care. Pals grids commonly contain a section that is not square or misaligned. These can some times be overcome by using MALICE clips or similar attachments. Age: Original stuff still comes onto the market seemingly mint. On worn items the Velcro and elastic can have lost much of it’s strength. Colour: Woodland can be difficult to get everything new as people still actively use it and are less likely to sell it on. Still very popular in the US. Tri-colour desert items often turn up unused. Probably because stock were not immediately rolled out and then UCP came out. UCP, don’t over look it. Lots of it out there still in the packaging. It can be dyed, especially the nylon. UCP DELTA. Good luck finding genuine items in this pattern. It’s like the A-team, “…if you can find them…”. Expect to sell a kidney. Coyote Brown maybe heavily stained with someone else’s crayon juice. But parts are still on issue as the Corps doesn’t like to get rid of anything. When did they get rid of the pup tent? OCP/skorpion is still current issue across several services so finding it is not a problem. With the complete system in inventory.

Where to start with this one! I took a brand new AAP-01, added a CTM flat adjustable trigger, CTM lower in ranger green, a special raised sight suppressor adapter (can be used for tracers too) and mock suppressor. Only even considering selling as I rarely play these days. This hasn't been skirmished and looking over it, it's in excellent all-round condition, just a slight bit of fowling around one of the pin holes (as pictured). Stated price includes PayPal fees and trackable postage/courier. Please PM any questions as I don't get notifications for anything added to the listing.

  13. I never said UKAPU has "perpetrated" anything against me (you know what they say about assumptions, right? 🙄) and I'm not "incensed" with them -- I literally asked a question about the timescales for agenda and election not matching what the Constitution demands... not a complex or unreasonable thing to observe / question. No crusade, and no "rant" either, I put nobody "on trial" and didn't force anything on anyone, "dear" -- perhaps you'd do well to check yourself, before condescendingly trying to police others -- if you projected any harder, we'd be able to see you on the moon.
  14. https://www.componentshop.co.uk/7-4v-2000mah-20c-continuous-discharge-airsoft-lipo-split-pack.html This is my battery. So is the overlander charger safe to use for my batteries that I have? once again I don't know anything about Batteries, will it be simple as plug in and charge or do i have to change settings on the overlander?
  15. IIRC him and several of his ilk have a habit of content striking anything tht shows them in a bad light, one of the assorted youtubebellends got caught on camera ignoring a grenade at the Goal a while back and the video vanished off youtube tho his content of the same day stayed up.
  16. Hmm, he's not got anything active, and has a history of completed adverts, apparently without complaint. Last advert was October 7th. I'm not doubting your story, just wondering if maybe he genuinely got hit by a bus, or carried away by an eagle.
  17. Never soldering anything again. Made the connector, connected a battery, got a single shot off before nothing and the red LED. Switched batteries, emptied the rest of the magazine (3 round burst is my new favourite thing), then as I've disconnected it the MR30 has come off my connector and got itself stuck inside the one on the MP5. Dug it out with a pair of pliers, ordered one off Eagle 6. Link below. Also burnt myself with the soldering iron and dropped a scalpel onto my leg 🙄 https://eagle6.co.uk/shop/catalog/product/view/id/7874/s/eaglesix-female-mr30-to-male-deans-adaptor-8cm/

Afternoon folks, After a Glock 17 with mags if possible. Not fussed on brand, it’s going to be more of a training aid than anything. Cheers, Jonny

  19. He's gone, anybody been offered anything by new member @Scot ?
  20. I run an RA Tech bolt carrier in my ghk, purely for the aesthetics than anything else (it’s blingy good SAI goodness). I can’t fault it’s quality of manufacture or tolerances
  21. It's an interesting debate this one. My usual site allows tri-shot albeit at a slightly reduced power - 0.84J / 300fps on a 0.2 IIRC. A few people have commented that they appear to have been in contact with The Predator, but it's all been good natured rather than moaning about shotties, in fact it's probably increased their popularity if anything! If the shotties had the same joules as those in semi then I'd be raising the question as to why they get three shots when the rest of us get one, but it seems the limits are taking both that and the up-close-and-personal nature of the shot into account.
  22. Whilst I'd say using 6 shot mode is unnecessary I wouldn't call it wankery. I remember playing at Electrowerkz where many people had a M203 hanging off the bottom of their AR. Shells for the could hold anything up to 200 bbs and I don't remember anyone complaining

Great scope, just don't have anything to put it on anymore. Does have lens covers but the plastic on the front one is missing. This is on the caps themselves and does not effect the actual scope. Free tracked shipping

  24. They're, usually, pretty rare to find floating around, you may find someone willing to sell you theirs but then you'd probably be paying over the odds. I'd say I got lucky when I got both of mine as they were cheap and not in too terrible of a condition. BespokeAirsoft have a A&K Masada in their boneyard which has a snapped stock release, missing selector and is electrically dead and they want £150 for it which is a joke IMO. If you don't want to fix anything and just want a RIF that works, then i'd suggest going for the ICS if you really want that Masada/ACR style of rifle.
  25. It's a total shitshow. Every courier that I've looked at except for Parcel Force expressly prohibit imitation firearms and airguns. That's not to say that they'll actually reject them - plenty of retailers use them. BBGnus4less, for example, explicitly recommend using Evri to return goods, even though Evri explicitly refuse "Weapons and replica weapons – including decorative, deactivated or air powered weapons". 🤷‍♂️ I see Parcel Farce have recently updated their restrictions, and have pulled all firearms related items out into their own section https://www.parcelforce.com/help-and-advice/account-customers/account-prohibitions-and-restrictions Annoyingly, it's all still rather vague and contradictory, but they will take both "low powered air weapons" and "imitation firearms". They used to say that they wouldn't offer enhanced compensation on anything shooty-like, but I can't see that any more. tl;dr version - if I were sending something £500+ I reckon I'd use ParcelForce 48, sent from a Post Office counter, and paying for enhanced compensation. Worst case, that forms a contract with the Post Office that you could argue later.
