  1. Pmsl so that's why your always back so bloody quickly & here's me thinking you run back & didn't know you thew a grenade back
  2. If it can come off then go for it but don't bin it I still use iron sights on both my M4's but have aimpoint magnifier on my G36C
  3. It all started a few hundred years ago in the Canadian wilderness with 'Rogers rangers' he worked for the brits keeping the Hudson bay company working on the river trading routes He found the natives would blend in with there surroundings & so copied them which was better than the usual bright colours of the British army, like alot of things, the British ministry dismissed it but got back on board after everyone else Khaki green came into being during WW1 when it became trench warfare and made it harder for snipers
  4. There fine mate With lipos, I always go with a minimum of 25C discharge rate
  5. Coming from a radio control racing background, the more C rating the better People have a misconception that Volts is what gives power when in fact it is the Amps You should be able to fit a 2000mah or 2amp Lipo into the buffer tube (or crane stock) The last CQB game I played, I used a small 1300mah Lipo that lasted me all day, both cells were tested at (on game day) at 4.18v each, when I got home & tested again, this had gone down to 3.97v each cell so not much was used Most airsoft motors if not spammed will not draw many amps
  6. I picked mine up on eBay for about £20, it's a medium for me (I'm 6ft tall) & is a snug fit My boys sometimes wear it when I don't as I've got mtp ubacs
  7. You could wear mtp trousers & dpm shirt/ubacs The dpm top will help break up the green blob a bit
  8. First & foremost Are you UKARA registered as that has a bearing on what you can get
  9. It's all settled I'll stick with my setup & add 7.4v lipos Cheers guys
  10. Would it be the same if I put the stock motor back in (the high speed motor was an addition)
  11. Cheers sir I've got 7.4v 5000 mah lipos but to big to use so I'll order some smaller ones in & stick to 9.6v nimhs for now
  12. It's that time again where I need people's opinions lol Having searched the interweb, my question still isn't quite answered I'm going with a 3s Lipo in my G36c, apart from a high speed motor, mosfet & 363mm barrel, its all still stock From what I've read (but people give different answers) I'm still unsure if it will be ok using a 3s Lipo or should I put the stock motor back in ??
  13. All I've done to my g36c is 300mm barrel, high speed motor & a basic mosfet Most cqb sites don't allow full auto so trigger response will play a part in it
  14. How would my JG G36 handle a 3s (11.1v) Lipo ?? Apart from a high speed motor & mosfet & M100 spring, everything else is stock I only ask cause of what you've said duck, I can put the standard motor back in if neccesary
  15. Thing is, none of us are in the armed forces where camoflauge & concealment is paramount so in reality it just comes down to thinking about your approach etc If I camouflaged like I used to, I'd be a walking bush If your that determined, make up a gillie hat or buy a gillie top
  16. I wear an OD carrier with mtp kit but no one's ever said you were easy to see I wear my dpm kit when the foliage starts to thin out
  17. Make sure when you reload your mag that there fresh bb's I keep a permanent bag of oiled bb's for all of my mags
  18. Ummmm are you sure it's not the magazine that's playing up & not feeding ?? If it's working upside down then it's possible the mag spring ain't working properly If you've got some silicon oil, put a few drops in a bag with about 50 bb's, shake the bag then load them in your mag for a few minutes then remove them, load your mag again with bb's & see if it works Magazine maintanance is as important as the rifle
  19. No mate I didn't giggle about it Real life is a bit different from the movies but you do get some that your not to sure about
  20. A 12v fan will work off a 9v battery BUT do not wire them in series because if one breaks then the other will not work because the circuit has broken Your better off using a 9v battery on each fan as one battery dies then the other will still work Your battery will die within minutes if powering 2 fans from one battery
  21. I replaced the 7" for a 10" free float rail on my cm16 I got a hacksaw and cut the bottom lugs (for a bayonet) off then cut the foresight off below the horizontal frame of the foresight then sprayed it black The new rail covers it nicely as the foresight will not come off, the foresight & outer barrel is machined from 1 piece of aluminium
  22. Same as fumps above with my boys, I'm always looking for things for us to do together as they lost interest in rc models & airsoft interested me & thought it be a good lesson for my kids about discipline, tactics but above all being sociable Luckily beastmode was interested & lives up the road from me, we've been going since September 2014 & haven't looked back Having a brilliant time, made some brilliant mates, formed a team of like minded people & trying any game sites we can plus how often do we get to dress as soldiers (apart from us who've been in the forces) shoot people & giggle about it

Buy a proper toy gun, the ones that cost about a fiver It won't be a rif but it'll give the same aspect of what your trying to achieve
