Just wondering if theres any valves similar to say inner tube valves for hpa where it's a one way valve with a ball bearing or something ??? Bored nay tired of losing air from the magazine everytime I disconnect for a mag change. If nothing like it exists, has anyone tried making something similar that works, I don't mind a bit of fettling or modifying

I believe the part your referring to could either be the nozzle or the NPAS (negative pressure air system) which is located inside the air nozzle. Its non adjustable so you could be hot which is where the RA-Tech NPAS comes into it as its adjustable

I use an M4 magwell adapter on my JG G36C & it works ok, you just need to get used to it being a bit fiddly at first to insert the mag but practice makes perfect. The feed tube is not straight & the bb's will not drop out so you need to turn the rifle upside down to fire the 5 or 6 remaining bb's out

I was thinking of getting the same for the October weekender (shame you both can't make it & I'll have to break in a new OC & 2IC lol) Not many sites allow them if aircraft are always around

If it's still under warranty etc, contact the retailer with what is wrong & get them to fix it No point doing any major work to it as you'll void the warranty

I've got a tan magpul pmag that feeds in my ICS M4 but not my G&G L85 (doesn't seat in the magwell all the way) I want to upgrade my old mags & like the look of them........but I need them to work in both rifles as I don't need seperate mags then & where do I start looking ?? Cheers guys

So today was the first time using the SA80 with the mosfet. Trigger response was a bit more crisp & ROF remains the same, the usual dead zone on the cut off lever occured a few times when my son used it & I told him to not release the trigger to early & he picked up on switching to full auto quite quickly. All in all, much better & faster trigger, held up well to today's abuse

I've got the G&G SA80, M4 (CQB) & ICS M4 (woodland) plus a jing gong or JG G36C aswell I use the SA80 alot but my M4's are always my back up & go to rifles.

From the issues I've seen with the ICS SA80 about the trigger, I'd go with the G&G one as it's more of a mechanical trigger (and closer to the real one) rather than an electrical trigger (which you get in the ICS version) One guy used mine all day because his ICS one was buggered most of the day

Didn't take long to put the mosfet in as the the wiring was all sorted Even a quick trigger pull of dry firing & I can definitely hear a difference the mosfet was soooooo worth it A word of advice for people who own a G&G l85a2 & want to wire in a mosfet. The positive wires from the battery & motor go in the top hole of the trigger contact & signal wire in the bottom because the bottom hole will give you full auto when you connect the battery

Well, my new mosfet arrived this morning but I'm away for the day as it's my day off so will be hooking the fet up tonight then pew pew test time on Sunday

I tend to buy mine on site as I use bio bb's (which is what they use) a 1kg bag of .25 or .28 costs me £12 a bag. I've got a 1 litre pop bottle of .28 & I use 2x 1 litre pop bottle for .25 & as I'm going Sunday, I'll be buying a bag of .25 as I'm running low For cqb, I use .20 or .25 non bio bb's & a bottle of 1000 will last me a fair while. I've got about 4000 left at the moment

One site I've been to, a guy had a heart attack & they were with him like a shot & glad to say he's recovering. Another site I use regularly had a guy break his leg & the ambulance had to drive up the muddy track. Another guy I know of badly sprained his ankle & was helped to the safe zone I was first aid trained many years ago (military & civilian) & I do try to keep up with modern techniques, I carry a small first aid kit for cuts etc but my regular site has a good first aid kit & plan in place, its always mentioned in the brief if something happens then pass it on To save the guy who broke his leg there, we were ushered to a point away from the incident & moved around as he was taken to the ambulance. Marshalls were on it the whole time

So far I've put them in 2x G&G M4's (woodland & cqb rifles) & my JG G36C about a year or so a go & still going strong. With the G36, I found it easier just to remove the contacts to do the soldering, I run them all on turningy nano tech 7.4v lipos after all my nimhs finally gave up & the mosfets I use are the basic Gate Nano SSR fets & now finally in my SA80. I'm playing Sunday so will report back but I don't forsee any problems. I've also fitted one in my mates E&L AK for him (that was a laugh taking that apart) also using the same fets, I can swap them out if they overheat or something The trigger response is more crisp with an electronic trigger & Lipo so ill be putting high torque motors in my M4 & G36 to see if trigger response is that bit more faster A 16awg wire upgrade is a good idea aswell to improve the flow path

Will do mate, it was a right bollock ache stripping the box down & keeping track of everything but it's done

So putting a mosfet into a V2 or V3 gearbox is easy (done 3 of my rifles so far) but after a few months of pissing around & putting it off. Got bored today so finally got the wiring done to accept a mosfet into my G&G SA80 Man is it a weird gearbox, took plenty of reference photos as I stripped things down to get the trigger contacts out. After 14 months of use, there was some bad flat spots from arcing so looks like putting in a mosfet was good timing. Tested it all with a mosfet from 1 of my M4's & there's a marked difference when pulling the trigger, it was pretty responsive before as it has a lonex torque motor so should be better (find out next game day)

You mention high speed gears & motor. This could possibly be the problem, if you've got a high torque motor then try that High speed motors aren't generally used to pull monster springs along with high speed gears. With so few combined teeth on the all the gears, your not pulling the piston back that far so not getting much air coming out As I said, try a torque motor & see what happens (sounds like you do cqb with a high speed setup)

All my rifles used nimhs for well over a year but as they've given up over time, I've replaced them with lipos. I'm fortunate to have 2 programmable chargers from rc racing & lipos so I'm ok there I even did the Lipo conversion for my Glock 18c electric pistol (which I still use from time to time)
