    M4 batterys

An FYI for you, me and my boys aren't UKARA members yet hence the 2 tone
  3. Before I go ahead and get the 2 tone cm16 m4 AEG I have a battery question ?? it says in the write up that it uses a crane battery (or split battery as I know it) I have a 7.2v NiMH crane battery already and its 3600mah, it also says to use 7.4v lipo to which I have 4 of them for my rc cars rated at 5000mah Could I use my lipos (I'll remove the crane battery holder) ?? Nick
  4. That is very true Richie I took the oath but end of the day, who did I have to rely on in the mix of it ? God, queen or country ?? It was the men next to me, the ones who saw each other through training, the guys who stood shoulder to shoulder, they were family to me I hate these people who are letting the side down
  5. Hahaha, there are some exceptions to the rule but most of us are tolerent and easy going people its just those ignorant and ill informed pillocks that let the side down Unfortunately we do need people like them to make the rest of us look good
  6. I'm sure there's people like that in all the armed services and there the ones who let everyone down I personally served with guys who I never associated with in the NAAFI or outside of barracks but when push came to shove, I could put my life in there hands as we relied on each other
  7. I noticed that, I have tracked down a guy who lives here aswell and have sent him a PM to get more info I did a lot of FIBUA and CQC in the army so enjoy both aspects but I'm more at home in the open air
  8. Thankyou for the welcome I did look and the closest is portishead but the info wasn't very clear, mainly paintball events I'm wondering if there is anyone local to north Somerset on this forum ??
  9. Hi guys, its me again (duh lol) The activity on this site is brilliant, pretty much everything you need to know can be found here With not much luck of interweb searching for the answers I need, I came back to the guys in the know Both me and my teenage boys (both over 12) live in Weston super mare, I'm looking for nearby skirmish sites so we can tag along and watch for the day, talk to the people involved and see what the crack is Does anybody know of sites in and around Weston super mare ?? as I dont drive, transport is an issue Nick
  10. I will do in the future but for now as its more for my boys for extra training, I thought it fair that we all use the same weapons but 1 thing we all use is Beretta m9 gbb pistol
  11. My boys are members of the rifles army cadets and band, I did serve pwrr, absolutely loved my job, good and bad Thankyou for the recommendations mate, I'll buy the better stuff for me lol until my kids mature more The army cadets version of 'skill at arms' is a lot different to mine but they are kids after all
  12. I've just read through all the remarks posted by those plonkers who chances are have never served and/or never seen peacekeeping duties or operations, I have come to the conclusion that because I wear my old combat jacket and my boys wear there's for target practice and training in my back garden, that we are all pathetic, pencil pushing wasters I can garuntee they'd be doing similar if life turned out differently for themselves I doff my hat to you MTP for not rising to there taunts and not displaying the same foul language as them (and I'm far from a saint with my language)
  13. Wow, some people are just so narrow minded I'm an ex serviceman and respect what people do for a hobby, I play with rc cars and boats (build a lot myself) but does that mean I can't cause I'm not a racing driver or in the navy ?? no it does not For some, this is the closest to combat they will get (been there, done it and then some) I find it a mark of respect if people are taking our military techniques and applying to civilian life, these people forget who started these hobby's in the 1st place.......ex military personnel Nick
  14. Thankyou for the welcome I understand its a cheap way to start and if they break they can be replaced easily I know accuracy isn't that good so I thought extending the barrel might improve accuracy a bit
  15. Hi guys I'm nick, I'm new to airsoft products but not new to weapons as I was an infantry soldier for 5 years until medicaly discharged As I starting point, I bought 3 springer sa80's for me and my sons as there both in the army cadets so I thought they'd be good for extra training etc My questions are these for you experts 1 - can I extend the barrel to full length ?? 2- what effects will this have on the BB ?? Nick
