  1. Ummmm it does say in my post that it's a GAS BLOW BACK pistol mate lol but after a day at work, I tend to skim over things when reading So you reckon WE mags should fit
  2. I finally gave in & bought an M1911 bnib for £100 Cybergun is a French company who under licence, have produced it & the pistol in question is a full metal, chrome silver, M1911 MK4 series 70 gas blow back pistol My questions are 1- what (if any) M1911 gas mags are compatible ?? 2- it says 390 fps on the box (until it's chrono'd) how would I bring that down ?? Cheers guys
  3. I'm starting to favour my ICS M4 over my G&G M4 As beastmode said, the ics is easier to work on because of the split gearbox
  4. Just watched a video Tina (from black ops) made Man it brings back memories back to the 'good ol days' Pop down to Spartan airsoft next to Bristol airport this Sunday (19th) you'll have a great time
  5. I cable tied my lower mesh mask to my breathable goggles (not mesh goggles) that way I've only got one strap on my head & allows my boom Mic to go under my mask Simple answer (as everyone's opinions differ) try different face protection & but what feels comfortable on you
  6. We all started out with 2 tone (those who started after 2006 from law changes) I rubbed wet mud all over the green shiney parts on both green m4's I had, certainly made it less bright
  7. A hi cap magazine holds hundreds of bb's, a mid cap can hold 60-180 bb's & a low cap (for realism) holds upto 30 bb's
  8. Jambwow - the obe wan Kenobi of Jedi bull$hit 'May the farce be with you my young pisstaker' 'The farce is strong in this one'
  9. I use a 1 litre lucozade bottle for both bio & non-bio bb's as one site I go to only allows bio bb's so there in seperate bottles I also use my finger & thumb as a funnel & my other hand to guide them into the speed loader I've got a bottle of .20 bb's with a spout on the lid but I hate it so I just remove the lid & pour them in slowly
  10. Its always a handy thing to have mate but as you want decent eye pro to go over your glasses, buy that first To answer your original question, look on eBay for morale patches, ukmcpro or military1st
  11. For me personally, I'm used to wearing a helmet from my army days but I did use my old jungle hat when I started, it kept getting pulled off by branches, brambles etc & scratching my head/face so I went back to a helmet & not regreted it since I also play cqb so it's alot better in that environment
  12. I also use a green shemagh to protect my neck & a green Emerson bump helmet which has come in handy on more than several occasions lol
  13. Take your charger into an rc hobby shop & they can give you an adapter lead The charger is jxt connector & the Lipo is jst connector
  14. I've got patches on my helmet, sleeves & plate carrier On my helmet is small team patch, call sign, blood group & my army TRF Sleeves are union poppy flag, keep calm & skirmish airsoft patch PC back, team patch & keep calm patch PC front, blood group, small team team patch, regimental TRF & division TRF (all hard earned) I wear everyone with pride, it's your kit so wear what you want (except things you haven't earned)
  15. I've got a G&G m4 I use in cqb & an ICS m4 that I use outdoors (I started of with the G&G) and I prefer the ICS because of the split gear box which means I can swap out the upper gearbox for a lower power spring if it's to hot on a game day
  16. as title says Picked me up this neat little gbb with the shell ejecting for £80 as the shop owner wants to get rid of all his airsoft stock (£20 deposit on the chrome M1911 & paying the rest next week) Anyway the asg is coated with grease & I'm wondering wether to clean it all off & replace with oil on all the metal parts (except the hop unit) & slide runners or leave the grease in place ??
  17. The best thing I can advise is Send an email to the company your using to get over here to get there rules on airsoft weapon transport Send an email to the UK customs & border to get there rules on airsoft weapon transport Email local British police to get there rules on airsoft weapon transport Print of any information they give you & carry it along with any membership details of your local site I know it's going to take a while & alot of hassle but the more preparation + research you do, shows your are more than responsible Worst case is to always have several back up plans when you get into the UK
  18. King Arms m4 mags are working well for me at the moment, they come in packs of 5 & in the usual black colour or tan colour I paid £50 for a pack of 5 on eBay
  19. I did exactly the same thing using a few layers of cardboard & gaffer tape
  20. That's the thing, most soldiers will carry what they need & no more (at least I did) If I lost my Bergen, I had enough kit on my webbing to make me stay in the game including bungees & tent pegs but if I lost my webbing, then I had to tins, 1 with basic survival stuff & the other with pen, compass, money etc In airsoft, I carry what I need but doing a milsim then I carry what I need in a Bergen
  21. CKinnerly I completely agree mate, what is the point of asking for advice & ignoring it, it's the same as people asking "what gun do I get" after they've already bought one & "what internal upgrades can I get" before firing it in anger I bought things cheap as I had to get 3 lots of kit, rifles etc cause both my teenage lads play the sport so when I upgrade my lads get what I had but I do buy brand new for them aswell
  22. Wow mate, that's some explaination I fully understand where your coming from mate but my PC has probably cost me to get it how I want, I could get the more expensive ones but it's held up well so far to my abuse of getting wet, muddy & literally dragged through a hedge backwards (and the brambles lol) It holds what I need for the day & once it does start falling apart then I'll get a new setup I started out with my old army dpm combats & chest rig (I still use them if want my old school look) & my mark 4 helmet
  23. I have a bit of a confession on the deal I got The cz75 cost me £80 marked down from £150 & the colt cost me £100 marked down down from £185 The shop I got them from is desperate to get rid of his airsoft stock as very few people go in there for that stuff He's got a BNIB SVD with battery, charger & 2 hi caps going for £175 down from £300
