I prefer Mids as it has helped me to pick my targets more carefully and preserve ammo. I used to be a sprayer and putting down untold rounds onto positions just because I could but quickly realised this was no fun and kind of pointless as the rest of the team tended not to use the suppressive fire and move onto the target so now Im more sneaky and mostly stick to semi auto picking targets I can hit.

I kind of get what the OP is saying. Im by no means a seasoned 'Softer' but have had many a browse online at retailers shops, and I agree. They do tend to stock the same products. So much so that now I feel I have seen it all. I only look for when I know I want something rather than a impromptu peruse . The same brands, the same variations and even all sell out of the same stock. But when we are after something we all seem to look further afield or buy off of each other. I totally get retail and supply and demand etc. But there is surely a market for an UK Based alternative Airsoft retailer who will buck the trend and A) know their stock compatibility have those extra bits we will always seem to want/need C) ship them quickly and hassle free As mentioned though one of the problems is the sheer number of variations and parts available. A bit like Baz I have also bought a couple of the same products because they didnt quite work or fit with how I wanted to use them which is quite annoying.

I am surprised as mall usually insist guns are dry fired once mags are out when you walk past them.. I dont think eye pro should be mandatory in a safe zone.. Its the once place I can actually take off my eye pro and rub my eyes / de-mist goggles / wipe sweat out of mesh etc.. I wouldnt want to have to go outside at the mall every time I needed to take them off as I find wearing eye pro an annoyance personally.

Man up really.. its part of the game.. So much protection. Means a hot n sweaty you who will not call hits as you cant feel anything. This will piss u off for being too sweaty and the other team for cheating!! Getting pinged is part of the experience, if you dont wana get shot, stay in the safe zone I tend to wear a long sleeve tee and a sweatshirt. Sometimes a vest or rig. But thats generally it. Anymore is too warm anyless stings too bloody much but still get hit, it still hurts (depending on distance gun etc) and i still look like i have the pox for a fewdays. I personally wouldnt layer up to minimise welts in mind though for reasons above.

After a skirmish is normally the only time i tend to touch the washing machine. If my kit goes in the normal wash god knows where it ends up after the kids help hang up/ put away the washing... Plus the mrs doesnt like all my stinky kit in with everything else n if i dont put it away together its a mission finding something for next time (My house is a tardis for clothes)

I saw this episode.. The drone couldnt have been more than 9 foot off the ground. as accuracy and range would not be great and having to fly that low kinda defeats the purpose of having one. And like mentioned before, it would pose a whole new threat and health & safety issue which would kill any enjoyment factor as we all know what its like over here for H&S bu****it! Plus the fact they would bring all sorts of new insurance issues. Drone vs Drone has potential, a kind of aerial robot wars. But again a pretty expensive idea as a drone with rotors shot off = a dent in the ground. This idea sounds like fun, but more of an RC angle instead of an airsoft one methinks. I know I have repeated a lot of previous posts but this is a distraction to my essay im currently writing so neeeer

I dont blame you, Hell I want to build one that looks the same I guess all the stupid camo options on COD have ingrained a dislike for weapons which paint jobs. Although I am looking at a grey/black multicam loadout and that gun would look awesome with it

Awesome bit of kit Qilmax..... but im gona put this out there and say I much prefered it unpainted. Thats not to say the paint job is no good, just seeing the before n afters, I prefer before tis all!! Like you said, not to everyones liking. Hardware wise though its one tough looking gun and would certainly turn heads at a skirmish so salute!!

It has been in my mind to do some LA gangbanger type loadout.. Baggy jeans, Timberland boots, jewelry, cap etc.. AK held sideways Wouldnt be too hard to pull off. Kind alike the idea of a fancy dress skirmish

Bunker 51 had riot shields lying about, I always used to get told off for picking them up and using them.... DONT LEAVE THEM IN THE SITE THEN Grrrrrr But havent seen anyone at any other site using them. Think they could be good fun to use though. Imagine getting stuck in a corner pinned down by loads of fire hiding behind some clear perspex, I would be shitting myself waiting for the inevitable grenade rolling in...
