  1. Post this everywhere... Arnies, zeroin, whatever the WWII site is, FB groups, and more. This needs to happen.
  2. Mine still works after two years; I let my brother's friend who likes lots of ammo and is a total CODsofter who loves to spray and pray use it while I waste them with my guns Trigger, you'd love my backyard games.
  3. Hmm... Speaking from experience (my first gun for backyard plinking with a cadet friend over two years ago) no. This thing struggles to hit 40m. And the gravity fed mag sucks. If you want to go to a skirmish with a gun of your own, and you don't want a shotgun, you won't be able to spend less than about £100 for a good pistol. And for a primary, you would need to hit about £150 for a G&G M4, or a JG or something similar (since I got hate for only mentioning G&G last time). If you can't or don't want to spend that much, just rent from the site.
  4. My Franken4 has a G&P receiver, and with it I must agree with Teddy. Fits lots of real steel parts, including the Rogers Super Stoc (although that's designed to fit all civi and military stock tubes anyway, so...) and a TROY TRX rail. So that's a +1 for G&P
  5. Defiantly true. The only M4 I will ever run (unless I'm in the US; my only guns there are an M4 and another WE G17) is my highly customised (and still not working) M4 from multiple manufactures. I won't ever buy something with the classic "Raider" look, unless it's for someone else and they are just using me as a middleman.
  6. Yes, this is all true, and those are all good recommendations for those guns. However, when people first enter the sport, the huge range of options can seem daunting, and most people are fine with an M4; it keeps from scaring them away. However, if he came back and said he wanted X gun, then I would stop pushing for an M4, and find him a good version of X for him.
  7. Any mag that fits in the AGM MP40 will fit the Sten. The two were comparable IRL, as are the airsoft mags.
  8. Hi, welcome. If you are new, I'll say what everyone is gonna say. If you are serious about the sport, get a G&G M4 variant for about £150. If you don't want to spend that mucus, then rent until you decide whether the sport is good for you or not. If not, give it up, if it is, then buy the G&G
  9. Step one: take that website Step two: never go there again Step three: never go to any site with BB in the name Advice one: you gotta spend at least £50 to get any sort of skirmish-able gun Advice two: if you don't want to spend that much (in terms of airsoft a £50 springer shotty is cheap) then rent from the game site
  10. Same with my MP7. I shot it next to a guy at the start of a game, and his jaw dropped
  11. I stick my finger over the light while in the dark in The Mall. Red light reacts with cones, not rods (which are your night vision) so it's not as bad; also, red light is dimmer and less obvious.
  12. Oh that's right; I keep forgetting that I have only ever ordered from Asia, and with Taiwan in the name... Got mixed up
  13. yes, its legit. Tawian Gun sell guns to us here from i beleive Poland, and they are WAY cheaper. but you do need to have a UKARA number, and customs inport cost is now cheap either
  14. I have a camo rifle bag from REI in the States, I pack my guns in it and lay my LBV over top, which acts as a cushion and holds everything in place. Gonna get a hard cars for travelling soon though.
  15. Have you looked in the "For Sale" section? Couple of AKs for sale in there
  16. Well, a PPSH came up, and I had to have it. So now I own an S&T PPSH-41, which is full metal and wood. My first EBB as well. Trigger, meet PPSH... PPSH, meet Trigger... Still need a name... Any ideas?...
  17. Unfortunate... Still, it's a great site, and there shortened the briefings as well
  18. I stand corrected. Thanks for clarifying Duck. Never had to change a spring before, so I guess I was one spring off
  19. Welcome, come to The Mall and shoot me for Trigger
  20. I have found if there is an objective to hold, I will stay around it; if we have to hold a room, I won't try to flank the attackers or anything, just hold the area. But if there's no objective, or it's mobile, I move around quite a bit.
  21. The power. I believe a m90 will be around 330 FPS, an m100 350?
  22. Get a torch, preferably one with a pressure pad. A quick burst of light will help you get around, but a pressure pad allows small lengths of light to be displayed to now give you away too much
  23. Welcome; I'm sure in the morning someone who knows that area will recommend some sites
