Yep, the Brits are good. Unfortunately I started with the American tree, which is possibly the most difficult to play. The Soviets are easy; everything has massive cannons and can easily shoot down other planes. The Brits and Germans are fun to play as well
  2. Sounds the o ring that holds the BBs in is either degraded or missing. Alternativly you could put a bit of tape over the end; the gas has more than enough power to push it aside. Don't use only one piece; use a small one over each hole.
  3. Yep. I think calling it Ivory is stupid; I'll probably just leave it black. It's "Ivory" colored and painted over black, but in a nicer paint. It's unlikly to just flake off.
  4. That's kinda what I was going for The Ivory is underneath. It comes with sandpaper to shave off the layer of black to give it a silver/white highlight. See the attached picture; it's the advertisement photo. The only reason I haven't taken the sandpaper to it is I don't actually believe it will look as good as the advert.
  5. Oh, it was present day for me yesterday. My G17 parts arrived, amoung other things. It's an archived Ivory carved frame, and slide with high vis fibre optic sights with a gold barrel.
  6. Alright. I'm bringing a slide and frame (NO INTERNALS) back with me in August... Hope my UKARA nber comes by then. :[
  7. I have been using a single fibre optic front sight on my Glock for awhile now, and at the shooting class I attended a few weeks ago I had the same brand of sights (Tru Glo) installed on the M&P 9mil, 22, and the Ruger il revolver I used. They were great, so I'm looking forward to these ones as well
  8. I'm getting the same slide; looks great
  9. Ho-lee-schizer... Dang that thing's beautiful.
  10. Against my better judgement, I am extending an offer to yall. As some of you may know, I am currently in the US. If anyone has something smallish that they want to get in the US but can't justify shipping (especially Rogers products (the company that makes a lot of the stuff Safariland sells)) then send me a pm, and we may be able to work something out. I'm heading to the Florida Keys tomorrow, and will be back in a week, so will reply to any messages then.

  12. Ah, ok. Well, I'll be back in August hopefully; and getting back in the game .
  13. Yea... I've looked at it in pics more closely and AFAIK there are no Glock trades on it. So hopefully it all will be OK.
  14. Well, it's being shipped in and doesn't have any trades as far as I can tell, beyond the manufactures trades. But I could get the address changed to the uk, I guess. I threw up a thread yesterday asking if customs would care about a slide and everyone thought it wouldn't be a problem; that's why I did it...
  15. Ok; this is either gonna look really good, or not work at all. I'm gonna get some engraving done on the slide while I'm across the pond. Just hope customs doesnt get pissed... 1x Archives G17 Scale Slide Set with Golden Barrel for WE G17(Black) 1x Archives Carving Frame for WE G17 / 18C / 34 / 35(Ivory) And Trigger inspired me to get one of these as well; I don't know which gun it will go on though... 1x Xcortech X3300W Shooting Chronograph with Tracer Set
  16. Anyone used Tokyo-Model.com.hk before? They are the only site that has all the parts I need...

New frame and slide; the same slide as some people have on here (check gun photos thread). And a nice frame I've really taken a liking to. It's the only place I've found that sells just the frame of that specific kit without the slide, as I wouldn't need the slide.

  17. Hello all I have been wanting to spice up my glock life a bit, and get a few aftermarket parts to make my G17 purdy, especially as I just shot second in class at Rogers Shooting School. Anyway, they offer an engraving service, and I'd like to get that on a new slide for my G17. Unfortunately, I can't get the slide here in the states (only through hk) but I can get it in the UK. So I would need it to be brought by my brother across US borders, and then at he end of the summer back across the UK's border. I assume I'll upset customs at some point, but I assume my UKARA stuff will be done by the time I come back to England in mid August. So a few questions: 1. Will customs on either side care about just a slide? (In case for some reason my number hasn't come...) 2. If they do care, anyone know what I need to do for US customs to let it through? 3. Does anyone know approximately how long it would take some HK shops to ship to the U.S.? (As if it would get to me in Florida in time I wouldn't have to worry about US customs)
  18. I've seen everything from burnt out paper pyros to unloaded BFGs, to shoes, balls from The Mall's ball pit, speed loaders, and more used as dummy nades
