What two_zero said. If you put silicone on the BB or the hopup rubber, you can say goodbye to the accuracy. Grease the gun from time to time, and keep it clean and it should be fine.

If there is no other really big problem with the gun, then yes. Actually a pretty good clean would do it in most cases, and if not, changing the rubber makes the difference. A tightbore won't add that much to accuracy, except when the factory barrel was really cr*p.

I was at Tunder Ranch with these guys: http://milsimairsoft.co.uk Exactly my kind of milsim. One day, no breaks, sqads, no high-caps. Unfortunately there were only a few of us there but I had great fun. I love sneaking around in forests.

Just the rubber.

IMHO get a fixed 4x instead of a zooming one. A zooming one has a much darker image than the fixed one. At least in the same price category. Or you can get a nice Leupold replica, they are also quite good.

Help! 13 year old (age) new to airsoft...need help
Samurai replied to JamesAirsofterAgent's topic in New Players & Arrivals
An MK23 has a very long trigger pull so it really doesn't have instant trigger response. I don't think a 13 years old kid would even manage to use that giant pistol effectively. Using a cyma glock is okay for cqb but for longer distances it's not really useful against aegs or gbbrs. IMHO a Cyma 028 is the best choice on a very low budget. -
You can put the Russian tourniquet on the skeleton stock, that would look authentic. That could even hide some weights if that's needed. My problem with the AK beta that it has never been a real gun. If you use a plastic body, only you will know it's plastic. I've seen many ppl taking a cyma AK in hand, examining it, and they couldn't decide if it was metal or plastic. If you even paint the gun then even better. I only had a pbs-1 once. There is a "metal" and there is an aluminum version of it. The "metal" is extremely heavy, while the alu is really light. Maybe try getting a suppressor made from some lighter material, I don't know if you have that choice with the pbs-4.

Shim the gears, not the cutoff.
-
Batteries has nothing to do with that. Your mags are not compatible with the gun. Try pushing the mag forward or backward or up to check if it feeds that way. The magazine is a problematic point of an M4.
-
It can be way too many things. You'll need to take it apart and check everything.
-
Yeah, use a crappy one because with an M110 you should get above the 350fps with a good setup.

Whenever I wear my boonie I surely get shot in it's brim at least once a day. So usually I just stick with the patrol cap.

Funniest thing that has happened to you
Samurai replied to bornleverpuller's topic in General Discussion
Most idiotic thing: I was behind cover, when a guy fresh from respawn thought he was cool and shot his M4 single handed as he walked. Of course he shot me in the back and he didn't even notice. The funniest thing was a few years ago when a guy played too much counter strike before his first skirmish and actually jumped around a corner so it would be harder to hit him. He got a single shot to the center of the chest and I laughed so hard, I had to stop. I first met a guy who later became very good friend on this game: It was a building and he was shooting his pistol from a doorway, but he didn't notice me. I sneaked around the room all tactical, and finally got to the doorway. I waited until he stopped shooting past me, and I kneeled and turned in to surprise him. Unfortunately he was about to shoot again and the pistol's barrel was about 5 cm away from my forehead. He was surprised, and he shot. I basically was executed kneeling. -
Looks fine, however if it's worn, you can't see that either. If by trigger trolly you mean the moving part of the switch, then it is not unusual for it to be simply incompatible with the cutoff you have. Try replacing the cutoff too, or the moving part of the switch with an other brand. Or if you can get the original brand, that would be the best.

If here are 4 screws on the bottom: 2 in the magwell and 2 in front of that then it's TM based.

With proper defence, and if you're older than 18 you can manufacture airsoft guns.

For us it was mandatory to make a first aid course for the driving license, and I think that's a very good thing. I carry a M67 style (vietnam) small first aid pouch. It's about 3x4 so I just carry it on me in a pouch. It has one or two sterile gauze dressings, two rolls of bandages, some plasters and a small antiseptic liquid. I used it twice. Both were head injuries. Once a guy hit his head climbing through a hole in a wall, and once it was a headshot from a 600 fps sniper from quite close. Both were bleeding quite heavily and since these were milsim games, real first aid was quite a walk away. The first one needed some stitches later. There was an other guy with broken ankle but that didn't need bandaging or anything. These were the ones that I personally had to take care of in about 7 years. If you only go to skirmishes with the safe zone and first aid only 2 minutes away, then don't bother carrying a kit, by the time you get everything out, someone could run to the safe zone for help. Just keep a finger on it to stop the bleeding. If you go to games where the safe zone or help can be further away, keep a small first aid kit on you and read about how to use it.

You can do both. But be aware that you will need to check the AOE (angle of engagement) after it or it can strip the piston's teeth or break the gears.

Airsoft survey for Business studys university course
Samurai replied to darkvalinetine's topic in General Discussion
Well, if it's not a random bloke but a shop's secret survey who do use it, then what would happen? We get a shop that's better suited for our needs. I don't think this survey can be used in any wrong way. -
How do you set up your Hop up? Range
Samurai replied to Snakeeyes75's topic in New Players & Arrivals
If you want to actually hit what you are aiming for, use heavier BBs. At least 0.25 or 0.28+ if your gun can handle it. I usually set the target at 40m. First thing is to set the hopup. Don't use the sights, just look down the barrel to check the trajectory. People usually prefer one of the two: set the hopup to get the flattest trajectory with no raise in it. This is the most predictable trajectory. I prefer the other way, a little bit of raise in it at the last part. This gives the most range. Something like the difference between the green and the black graph. (Yeah, I know it is an other graph, it's just for the shape of it.) If you are happy with the trajectory, set your sights to the impact point on the target. First set the iron sights (horizontal, then vertical), then the red dot or optics if you use one. After you are done with that, spend a lot of time on different distances too. Learn how much you have to aim below or above the target on certain distances. If your hopup is fine, you don't really need to touch it again, except if you buy an other brand of BBs, or the temperature/humidity changes significantly. Check before every game if everything is still ok. Usually you don't have to touch the sights, just the hopup to get the same trajectory as you set the first time. -
Seal Patrol (original title is Blackjacks). The story is not that great but the tactics and the tactical movements of the actors are absolutely amazing. Better than the Act of Valor with real seals in it.

Decide between wood / aluminum. Get the gun's measurements. Find a place to get the foam from. Find some diy projects on the net with the chosen material, and start creating it.
