  1. UKARA is proof that the holder is an airsofter. If the venue you go would give him a membership for turning up 3 times in not less than 2 months, and they are on the UKARA scheme, then your dad would get that proof and could buy a RIF that he could gift to you.

  2. Without knowing the exact parts you have, could be the spring guide is too long. This cylinder might not have enough space to allow it to be pulled back enough.

Or the cylinder doesn't have enough space for this spring and it's fully compressed before it's pulled back enough.

Try if it locks back if you don't have the spring in it. Then with the original spring guide.

  3. If it's not that two diameter cylinder, like the edgi, then there's nowhere near enough air volume for a 0.48g BB and an 550 barrel.

70 hardness rubber is too hard for that weight. The recommended hardnesses are for the measured FPS on the weight you use, not the FPS it would be on 0.20g.

  4. When I was in the same situation I replaced more than 50% of the external parts of one of my guns (stock, foregrip and grip of a G3) with bright green painted ones, partly disassembled it, and got it posted here. As this is importing, so it's an offence to import a RIF (Group 2 is wrong).

Then when I got my defence, I imported all my stuff and changed the green parts back. All nice and legal.

    This is great.

I see you printed it on the inside seam facing the bed. I think you should do it the other way. Remove the protruding parts from the side so it can lay flat. The front and back protrusions will still hold it in the shell. This way the ramp will be much cleaner. The spring will probably get stuck in the bends.

And/or you could make the path not just a pill shaped in cross section, but add a cutout where there's overhang. The edges will be printing cleaner.

What I did, was printing the other side on bed and added a raised part instead to create a small, smooth surface. And also because wu-tang.

The compressed spring forces the two sides apart with quite great force and even a small opening can make the BBs stuck. You might even need an other screw in the middle.
