Give up looking at 90% of kit reviews etc. Some reviewers are just so lazy with descriptions of kit it amazes me they even get the kit to review in the first place or that they have become popular enough to get that sort of endorsement 🙄🙄

my main issue with online reviews is that they don't give the information I'm looking for.
99% of the reviews you find on youtube are all about the externals, only the 1% (optimistic) actually bothers to take down the gun and show what's inside.
out of that 99% you have:
-10yo kids that shouldn't be using internet at that age
-Super duper navy SAS marines operators that ejaculate when a fire selector is snappy
-Superstars like Nov or Silo that only think about clickbait titles
-Guys that, while reviewing a €700 gun, teach you how to wind the included highcap
-People with 5 metres firing ranges who tell you the €20 gun in their hands is the next SRS
I miss the good old EpicAirsoftHD guy, his accuracy tests were spot-fucking-on. huge indoor range, gun locked in a vice and actual comparison between BB weights.
The same applies for kit like plate carriers/chest rigs or BDUs, BBs, Eyepro, whatever you think you may need.
When I was looking to buy my Mini Mav I came across some pretty useless reviews, around 10 minutes long, talking about the actual rig for around 15 seconds (this rig is made by Tactical Tailor and it's small, well no fucking shit sherlock, why would they call it MINI mav?) spending the rest talking about their super duper high speed low drag tactical boots when the title is "TT Mini Mav review"
The same happened when i searched for information about the Helikon TMR, the Ares AM-009, the AS02, my Adapt Pack replica, G&G midcaps, G&G drums, Lonex flash mags, basically every piece in my current collection.
Fuck famous airsofters, fuck youtube reviews.
And fuck me for waking up at 2 AM for no reason.

Yeah see that's exactly it and to add further I cant take someone seriously when they post all the shit they get sent (whether they have to return it after review or not) I don't think I've seen all that many airsofters/reviewers that will stay completely unbiased because they want to keep that relationship of getting the new stuff come through their door, Plus my previous statement of some of the well known people not having a fucking clue when it comes to actual names of gear they are reviewing/buying/using or how to actually use it properly. One of maybe only two pages I will even go through the effort of reading anymore is The Reptile House Blog and one other.
It might just be the way I'm perceiving things but, and I know I say this A LOT but "airsoft celebs" to me are the cancer growing/damaging in the sport.

@clumpyedge its a bullpup yes. But doesn't do much for me. Looks similar to the Ares Soc which just took a Tavor rear and stuck an M4 outer barrel on it.
I just don't see the uniqueness or the passsssssionnnneeeeé. Give it a mahoosive trigger guard like a SAR21 and then we'll talk.
That and its a Silverback, out of my price range.
Edit: I might change my mind though. 😉
@Immortal I see a bit of ARX160 in that handguard/trigger area.

Problem I’d have is even if it was on safe he’s still put an active gun to someone’s head and who’s to say if he got away with it this time that he does it again but next time he does it ‘for a laugh’ he pulls the trigger and it does fire ?
Again just my 2penneth worth on the subject .

I can see exactly where you are coming from @Robert James but as we have a high number of rentals on pretty much every game day anything like this is teaching bad etiquette, we as a site have a duty of care to all players that are on site and as such any serious H&E issues are dealt with very seriously. The potential for that to have gone very wrong was there but it wasn't just the act its self it was the attitude towards it and the trying to lie his way out of it that added to the issue. Any number of things could have gone wrong here so that's why we came down harder than just a telling off.
