  1. Cheers guys, used nail polish remover which worked well.
  2. I've got a Grip Pod that's got Krylon type paint on it, is Fairy Power Spray the best way to remove it or would I be better off lightly sanding it and then respraying it black?
  3. I tend to wear a UBACS style shirt with a UA shirt underneath, plus a T shirt when it's colder. Softshell jackets are pretty handy to have around when it's really cold, but unless it's subzero all day I just get too hot - I guess this depends on how fit you are and whether or not you are a lazy bugger
  4. I rewrote my original post but there i'd mentioned how I don't feel there's a trustworthy source for game reviews these days. I used to read PC Zone but unfortunately that closed down years ago, so now I just buy games if they pique my interest. I don't mean this in a conspiratorial cash for good reviews way either, I just don't agree with points I see most games journalists make. One of the biggest problems is people won't stop supporting devs that gouge every penny out of their customers. EA must be laughing all the way to the bank with people spending hundreds, or even thousands trying to unlock a certain player in FIFA. Plus people support "well they are a company they are there to make money" which isn't really a valid argument. Yep you can treat your customers like crap because money, seems reasonable, hopefully all businesses will follow this model... Fortunately though some devs realise that generating goodwill amongst their playerbase can be very beneficial, as you mention CD Projekt Red get it and I really like what Psyonix have done with Rocket League.
  5. I really liked the beta and i'll definitely be playing a lot more when the game releases. I'm not keen on the announcement that season pass holders will get exclusive monthly events and it remains to be seen how good the anti cheat will be on the PC version. Personally I buy games I enjoy and try not to get too jaded by the practices in the industry as it diminishes my enjoyment of gaming and it isn't something I have any control over. It's certainly interesting to discuss though.
  6. This is exactly what i'd do. When I buy guns I ask them to Chrono them, prepared to say if it's over 350 FPS they need to downgrade it for free. If they won't i'll just buy elsewhere.
  7. I couldn't figure out if those are just a load that have been kicking about in a warehouse somewhere, seen them appear on their ebay store a couple of times when I was looking for a mate. Either way he bought a few and they look identical to the genuine ones I bought a couple of years back.
  8. Whilst I completely understand why they did it I just wish someone would produce mags remotely on par with the SOPMOD PMAGs for the TM recoils. Unless there's some I don't know about, being worried about losing mags you can't replace sucks.
  9. Plenty of BBs shatter at normal velocities on hard targets, soft targets not so much.
  10. It looked like they were undercutting everyone else with their wholesale price as I saw one store doing bulk buys of 12 bottles way cheaper than I buy my 0.25g blaster boxes and that was already the cheapest I found in the country. The shattering on impact thing is just how BBs work. Nuprol is WE(I think WE Europe specifically) - I'm wondering what their plan is as WE got a rep for bad quality control now Nuprol seem intent on following suit.
  11. I'd imagine it had something to do with the rampant jamming and double feeding.
  12. Pro Airsoft Supplies have a two tone radio button when you are looking at a given gun: http://www.proairsoftsupplies.co.uk/acatalog/KRYTAC-TRIDENT-LVOA-C--WARSPORT--WOLF-GREY--PRE-ORDER-KTAEG_LVOAV_WG01.html Fire support has a sprayed guns option when you go to the checkout.
  13. Do you have the 416 with the M4 stock? The standard 416 stock will fit a 2600 mAh battery
  14. Well Nuprol speedloaders are terrible, as are what turned out to be Ares BBs. Now to get the box mag back together...

Double eagle speedloaders FTW. Got three for a euro each in the bargain bin and going strong for 2 years now

Think i'll buy another TM one as the first is still happily feeding. Never touching anything affiliated with WE again. Should have known Amoeba BBs are Ares lol, jammed up my box mag but managed to flush them through with blasters.

  15. Don't they have something like a 20 metre MED in America and under that you just shout "pew pew" and then have an argument over who is dead?
  16. OPS US Woodland trousers and shirt US Woodland Boonie hat Keymod to Picatinny short rail Pair of Mechanix gloves in foliage green, my Oakleys are nearing retirement after 2 1/2 years 3 x 3000 Blaster Devil 0.28g
  17. I just tuck the pull tabs on them behind my mags and they are completely out of the way. Perhaps PMAGs hold better than standard M4 mags, but the only thing i'd gain from switching to polymer mag holders would be aesthetics.
  18. The ones with bungees don't mean you have to put them over the mags as they should still hold find, that's what i've always done. I've only ever used PMAGs but the only time a mag fall out was using a crappy condor chest rig where I had removed the bungee section as a test, turned out it was gripping the mag where it was tied...
  19. You hold it with your left hand, assuming you are holding the gun right handed. It's to steady the gun when a bipod is deployed or it's resting on stuff.
  20. It's surprising it is so common when I think every site i've played as mentions it in the brief. The other week had at least 3 people not take multiple hits and it seemed to be on the basis of they couldn't see me so it doesn't count. Also people that try to shoot you after you have hit them before they will call hit, fuck those guys.
  21. I have a system for that: The ones without BBs in them are empty
  22. To be honest almost every single time I want to use Pyro at any site it would be over waist height at the very least. I'm going to sell both of my BFGs at some point and buy a load of MK5s with the money.
  23. It's really up to you but the TM HK45 is a great gun, had mine over a year now.
  24. New batteries are too small for my Krytac LMG stock. Is filing a couple of MM off the inside of the tube a good or bad idea?

I'd just go with 2 1450mAh LiPo's - it's not hard to change a battery part way through a day, even if it's a milsim/sim-esque game where going back to the safe zone is either not an option or few & far between, a spare battery isn't much weight to carry...

Well I was under the impression it was ~1 mAh per shot but after chatting to a couple of people this doesn't seem to be the case. I was concerned with 1 battery only being enough for half a box mag.
