  1. Highest quality Airsoft supplier? (e.g. G&G, ICS etc.)

Lol, Trigger. Also Daytona Guns are pretty solid internally.

Best quality without paying silly money is Real Sword way beyond anyone else. Second best is Krytac. TM guns are most people's favourite and their AEG's work well, which is surprising as the actual quality of parts is pretty shite.

      Ics Good, G&G ok

    Barrel Length

I have recently been looking at two rifles that have caught my eye. The G&G Combat Machine AEG CM16 Raider http://www.zerooneairsoft.com/product_info.php?cPath=268_318&products_id=6076 and the G&G Combat Machine AEG CM16 Raider-L http://www.zerooneairsoft.com/product_info.php?cPath=268_318&products_id=5774. After looking at the websites specifications, I realize the only difference is that the normal raider has a higher RPM and the Raider-L is longer in general, has a longer barrel and is heavier. Before seeing the specs I was going to go for the Raider-L, but now I am thinking of going for the normal raider. Now, my question. Does a longer barrel on an AIRSOFT rifle, not a real rifle, actually make it better as I have heard that a longer barrel can be more inaccurate and can reduce the range in Airsoft. Thanks if you can help.
  3. Anyone recommend Zero One Airsoft? http://zerooneairsoft.com/

For a 2-tone Raider z1 are gonna be hard to beat. Yes not loved as much as more customer service retailers like pro airsoft. But free 2-tone, low price G&G - hard to beat

If buying a higher end gun then maybe pro airsoft, FireSupport & others over zero one

The ASG one does have a battery and charger included and is approx 300fps compared to cheaper ones at approx 380 fps.

      A battery and charger doesn't cost £70.

Do I want to be spending £170 on a rifle when I can buy a £100 SMG or is that a bad idea?

If I were to buy this rifle would I be able to take off the handle and put on a scope? http://www.combatsouth.co.uk/collections/assault-rifle/products/ics-m4a1-retractable-stock-ics-41?variant=9559272965

    Two-Tone IF

Hi, I am 15 and looking to get in to Airsoft. I now know that at my age I will not be able to buy ANY type of Airsoft rifle, and no-one in my family plays Airsoft either. After digging around a bit and getting raged at because I am a newbie, I have found out that a person 18+ could gift me an IF and if they also had a UKARA membership (not a licence, already made that mistake) they would be able to gift me a RIF (correct me if I am wrong). Like I already said, no-one in my family plays Airsoft which means a RIF is out of the picture unless I can find someone who is on the UKARA database and pay them to buy me one. This means that my next option is a Two-Tone IF, which is possible since my parents could buy me one. I know I want an M4 build or something since they look good for starters, but I have ran in to one problem. I can't find any good websites (as in not JUSTBBGUNS) that sell Two-Tones. If anyone knows any websites that are decent yet sell Two-Tones, could you please reply. Thanks if you can help.

      G&G or ICS M4's

Zero One, LandWarrior, AirsoftWorld, FireSupport, AirsoftZone, SurplusStore, read some of the stickies in new player section. Them guides are a must read tbh

      G&G cm16 from pro airsoft supplies :)

  10. I have heard from friends and others the it is not worth getting a Bullpup rifle as your first rifle. Is this true and if so when would be a good entry time to get one?

Use the edit button. You can then add or remove letters or words, check spelling, etc.

When should I buy my first gear?

Seems like I may have said some real retarded stuff looking at the way you guys responded, but thanks for the help anyway.

When should I buy my first gear?

Don't you need a skirmishing licence to buy a RIF so you are on the UKARA system? And also would I be able to cover my gun with some kind of loose mesh so I could camouflage a bit as a bright green would probably give me away very quickly.
