  1. I'm going to cut my mesh half face mask before my next skirmish in about a month so I can wear it with my goggles. I know I saw a video of a guy who was doing it for his son, but I have no idea what it is called / what to search for so I could find it again.
  2. What would be the point of holding it any other way?
  3. I don't think there are any "extended mags" for airsoft sniper rifles. I only know of one (can't remember the brand) for the VSR which holds 55 rounds as opposed to the 30 round standard capacity. Never heard of any for an L96. Magazines are cheap enough but you shouldn't need a lot of ammo as a sniper anyway, unless the games at your local site are really long.
  4. I'm going to be getting a WE Gen 4 Glock 17, but TM and KWA are the said to be the best.
  5. I would agree, either Flyye or Warrior Assault Systems. http://uktactical.com/c-54-warrior-assault-systems.aspx
  6. New Homefront game announced! Homefront: Revolution IIRC

    1. DX115FALCON

      DX115FALCON

Not gonna lie, but my hopes of a good game are not very high after the abomination that was the first game...

I don't think accessories would really matter, as long as the gun itself is two-tone. Like Yuriski said, there's no reason for the police or anyone to be scrutinizing it anyway as long as you aren't displaying it in public and stuff like that.
  8. Where can I get a £6 rubber knife? Was looking at Cold Steel ones for a tenner but considering the use you get out of the them I'd rather just get a clone / knock off one. If it was me I would have taken the hit, but I suppose it's fair enough if he didn't have a secondary.
  9. The clone AFG off eBay. Warrior T-Shirt in OD.

If you're 18+ and have a UKARA defence I would say you're absolutely fine to go ahead and paint it. If not, then I would be safe and use camouflage tape to cover up the brightly coloured parts. As long as you only put it on when you get to a site and remove it before you leave then it is okay.
  11. You don't want to be buying any cheap gun from a 'bb guns' website. If they do sell more expensive guns, they are usually over priced anyway compared to other retailers. You're better off saving up for another gun which is much better quality and buying from a proper airsoft website such as Pro Airsoft Supplies, Zero One, Airsoft World, Patrol Base, Fire Support or Land Warrior Airsoft. Welcome to the forums
  12. 2mm is quite thick so you can expect less definition but it should be sturdier. I think most people use 1.5mm or 2mm. Either one should be fine, but I'm not certain.
  13. I think everyone is being a bit harsh. If you don't like his videos, don't watch them. I do have a look occasionally but it's really just to look at loadouts or something because the actual action is kind of boring. LevelCap on the other hand is actually a YouTuber who's airsoft videos I thoroughly enjoy. Whilst he may not know a lot they are very entertaining.
  14. I don't own a G&G Combat Machine myself but IIRC you can't replace the RIS unfortunately. On the other hand you should be able to replace the stock with no problem. You can just take off the original one and put your chosen stock on instead. That said you will probably have to run LiPo batteries if you aren't already since a NiMh won't be able to fit in the buffer tube. Hope this helps.
  15. A good pair of boots would be much better than trainers, and are especially important if you're playing woodlands. Look for a pair on sale at somewhere like Go Outdoors maybe? There's also a surplus store selling army boots for around £20 or two for £35. Can't remember the site though
  16. Yeah it doesn't look great. Save up for a Condor / Bulle rig.
  17. Two G&P QD Battery Foregrips One black, one in OD. £8.35 for both. 80% off in the daily sale!
  18. I was looking on MSM's website a few days ago and saw those decals / stencils. Did you buy them from the US and get your family to ship them over, or do you know of a UK / European retailer? Very annoying that it costs $40 to ship something like a $20 hoodie. Cheers
  19. Holy sh*t that is awesome! Really like the Costa Ludus and Salient Arms logos! Must have 'costa' a lot (not taking credit for that joke)
  20. Why make it so long? I'd much rather keep it as a beast for CQC myself.
  21. If I see any rubber ducks / foam swords at the supermarket from now on, I am getting one! Especially love the rubber duck idea. I wonder if a small one would fit in a frag grenade pouch
  22. You can probably find a cheap enough buffer tube, again try eBay or some HK website for one.
  23. Use a banana. On a more serious note, I believe you could use a training knife such as these: http://www.airsoftworld.net/cold-steel-laredo-bowie-rubber-training-knife.html http://www.airsoftworld.net/tactical-equipment/knives-and-tools/cold-steel-leatherneck-sf-rubber-training-knife.html Or an axe! http://www.airsoftworld.net/cold-steel-trench-hawk-training-axe.html On the subject of knives, how do you actually go about a 'knife kill' anyway? I can imagine some people do not appreciate being stabbed by one (even if they are rubber) but can you do that sort of thing, or do you just sort of tap them with the blade or what?
  24. Whilst I think taking airsoft to the extreme in MilSim games can be pretty over the top. That said, a normal skirmish would not give you the opportunity to do night games for example. From what I know a lot of the more serious games are the ones over multiple days and in unique places such as FIBUA facilities. Ranks and saluting though? Really? That is very sad.
  25. Welcome to the forums! What brand is your MP5 mate? Unfortunately, there aren't a lot of goggles that will comfortably fit over glasses, as far as I know. My dad has to wear glasses and finds it difficult.
