  1. Don't want to hi-jack the thread but seen as a lot of you are TM Recoil guys, what's your opinion on the KWA RM4? I'm thinking of getting one, maybe the non-MAGPUL ERG, depending on price / when it's the released. I imagine it will be around £250 range without the MAGPUL stuff as well.
  2. I'm pretty sure a lot of us here have seen this or don't need to watch it but a great video for beginners by Nash:

I remember when Nash put this up...

He's actually a really good player as well

      Airsoft-Ed

      He's a pistol demon.

He may well be good with a pistol, but he cannot use AKs. According to him, he hates the sights

  3. Isn't the Combat Machine already rear wired? If it's front wired then couldn't you change the stock anyway, or are the G&G M4s made strangely?
  4. As far as I know the gas block isn't actually functional on an airsoft GBBR. I don't know for sure though.
  5. I know there are definitely a couple of guys who have an RM4 on the forums, so if either of you could give some advice it would be greatly appreciated. I'm going to buy the Scout version by the way. I already have a (soon to be upgraded) MP5K for CQC.
  6. Exactly as the others have already said. Too many people turn up to their first airsoft game with a crappy gun from some 'bb guns' website (by the way don't buy from them) and find that their guns will not hit anybody and don't have a good time because of it. If you just want to do target shooting at home then a spring gun is fine. By the way, if you ever get into airsofting and skirmishes, and you would like your first gun, this is one a lot of people recommend: http://www.proairsoftsupplies.co.uk/cgi-bin/sh000001.pl?WD=trans&PN=cm16_carbine_transparent%2ehtml#SID=239 Don't want to sound like I'm getting a bit far ahead (can't think of how to say it tbh :/ ) but just giving a suggestion. Welcome to the forums as well.
  7. eBay seller zahalorg sells a load of FOBUS stuff at a great price and has very good feedback. Are there any restrictions on importing from Israel?

Is it an adjustable holster? That might explain it

I just got a FAB defense 1911 grip set from Israel no problem at all. Actually bought it through Amazon!

I guess it must be Tac. I'm not sure on the WE G35's dimensions but I'm guessing it's going to be more 1:1 scale, but the G17 / G19s are more like a .45 and not a 9x19.

If it adjusts it should be okay though.

Could have been the same people Lozart. Thanks for the reply :) Will definitely be ordering from zahalorg (Zahal gear) on ebay then.

  8. Wouldn't be worth sending it all the way to the US. It would probably be taken by customs anyway since AFAIK they require an orange tip for import and they don't like trades and stuff. There are a lot of hydro dipping places here in the UK who might be able to doing something like what you want. For example: http://www.camolab.co.uk/ http://www.camolab.co.uk/portfolio/kwa-kriss-vector-multicam-hydro-dip/ I know at least one person on the forum got their rifle done by them (not custom painted like you want yours, but hydro-dipped) Also, if you're wanting anything engraving, such as the HWS or the dust cover, ask CaptainDumbass.
  9. Hey guys, I'm pretty sure I asked about this a while ago, but I'd like to ask one more question about LiPo and LiFe batteries. I'm buying one of these smart chargers: IMAX B6 http://www.coolcomponents.co.uk/lipro-balance-charger-imax-b6.html?gclid=CjgKEAjwkpacBRCNlprWw-u-nBwSJACwHiw-6cABGrv0PrvalJOBp9clx4xfpo34uC5dRhdAn0Wa-vD_BwE#. Best battery for an RM4? I know they're supposed to be ran on 11.1's but I've also heard that it would be fine using a 7.4V LiPo. So I'm wondering what the ERG guys here run in theirs, and also your opinions on the following batteries (which ones would be the best) 9.9V 1600mAh 25C LiFe http://www.componentshop.co.uk/9-9v-1600mah-25c-mini-battery-2656.html 7.4V 2600mAh LiPo (fit in handguard?) http://www.patrolbase.co.uk/lipo-and-life-airsoft-batteries/vp-racing-battery-7-4v-2600-mah-25c-lipo-crane-stock-battery.htm#.U4ZQWvldXWg 11.1V 2600mAh 20C LiPo http://www.patrolbase.co.uk/lipo-and-life-airsoft-batteries/we-11-1v-2600mah-20c-lipo-crane-battery.htm#.U4ZRCPldXWg 11.1V 1450mAh 20C LiPo http://www.patrolbase.co.uk/lipo-and-life-airsoft-batteries/vp-racing-11-1v-1450mag-20c-lipo-stick-battery.htm#.U4ZRAvldXWg Thanks!! Oh and I did also look at these same batteries on Component-Shop but they are actually pretty much the same price. Plus I don't need postage from Patrol Base since I can buy one in store.
  10. Best GBBR for ~ £200? I know the GHK G5 is very good but I'm tempted by Combat Machine GBBRs too (+ mags are cheaper)

Not to mention that the G&G's aren't even covered by the GBBR heading as it is a gas powered gearbox.

I see, didn't even know they existed! Well if I ever get a GBBR I'll most likely go for something by GHK, such as the G5, because I know they are good. Cheers Kiwi.

      GiantKiwi

Yup, G5 is excellent, Mags are a little expensive, but then they do have an average of 3 to 3 and a half reloads to a charge of gas.

  11. Ah yeah since it's a Combat Machine maybe you can't take the FSP off then. I don't have one myself so I was just going by how you'd do it on the real AR-15 platform.
  12. You need to take out the pins or the screws in your front sight post, then unscrew your flash hider. The sight post should be able to split in two a bit or you can move it down the barrel to get it off. Not sure about the RIS since it doesn't look like it has an attachment system like most rails but there is no delta ring either?
  13. Alternatively there's this: http://www.airsoftpeak.com/multi-functional-retractable-stock-black-p-11048.html Haven't seen any video reviews or anything of it but the reviews on the page are alright.
  14. I'm looking at one of those ACE stocks myself. It could potentially work out slightly cheaper if you order from GP-Airsoft-UK. Quite a lot of people seem to like crane stocks but I think they're kind of ugly, even if they are said to be more practical and comfortable. By the way won't any stock take a LiPo stick battery? It should fit in the buffer tube fine. You could try a MAGPUL PTS ACS as well.
  15. Ok, want to see if anyone's interested in a DPM or Vegetato BDU set. WTS so I can afford A-TACS FG (loadout I've wanted to do for a while now) Need to re-organise. Sizes might be a bit weird though.

  16. Got a reply to one of my comments on jambwow's channel. Well, he only said thanks a lot but that sounds good. He asked if they'd do a review of the 'M4A1 pro aeg' cos he's looking for his first gun. Actually, TBH I'm not sure now if a G&G Combat Machine will last longer than an AEG M4A1. I imagine the G&G will be better quality though. Either way I still recommended a good first gun so I guess I helped. The AEG M4A1 is £150 and full metal, transparent polymer CM16 £100 (exc. battery & charger) So yeah...
  17. I know there are special UMP suppressors, but they are all pretty expensive and out of stock. For example: http://www.zerooneairsoft.com/product_info.php?products_id=2711 http://www.proairsoftsupplies.co.uk/acatalog/umg_ump_sound_suppressor_silencer.html My M4 doesn't have a thread either so the only one I could use is a QD M4 suppressor. Thankfully I hope I will be selling the POS soon though!
  18. Emerson Tan or Navy Seal (snakeskin) style FAST helmet to go with A-TACS FG loadout?

    1. Russe11

      Russe11

You want a WW2 US bomber helmet and a plastic donut to make a rebel commando helmet :D

    2. Airsoft_Mr B
  19. Yeah you can post links. Best place to buy one should be from Zero One or Pro Airsoft Supplies. I wouldn't really recommend a gas blowback rifle, but the pneumatic blowback ones are good and electric combat machines are great more beginners.
  20. Yes as far as I know goggles and a half face mask would essentially count as full face. As long as you have both it is okay. Gives you more versatility in terms of goggles you'd like and buying mil-rated brands such as ESS you know you're getting quality and are protected now matter what. If you get a mesh half face you really need to do some modification to it so the goggles fit properly but it's quick and easy enough.
  21. It's three games within a year but not under two months, as UKARA says. The thing about importing RIFs I'm not sure about though because a lot of people do order from Europe and Asia, as long as you've got a UKARA defence it should be fine to order from abroad.
  22. When you add on tax, import duty and shipping charge it will usually end up the same price, if not more than getting it in the UK. You're right that the US sites do have a lot more choice and the prices are excellent but especially for anything cheap it isn't worth it because it's like a $30 minimum for international shipping, and ordering a rifle will be £40+ in shipping.
  23. Yeah I have to agree with CaptainSwoop here I don't fully understand the reasoning of no photography at MoD sites. I mean, it's only a training facility after all and if the Iranians / North Koreans / or whoever else threatens our interests could just go on Google if they want to find out about our super top secret military installations (that we let a load of airsofters go to) Pretty sure I have seen some footage from one of these MOUT places though? Was this a thing introduced very recently or something?
  24. FFS it's for airsoft! Why do you automatically assume he's going to walk around with it. Plus, it's Russia anyway. He only asked a simple question and suddenly everyone is like 'omg NOO u get arrested y u be polis officer'
  25. No you don't need a team, although it is a lot better with mates.
