  1. Drop leg holsters flap around a lot so they're not great. I would also suggest a polymer / paddle holster like Mack and Lozart. If you have a look on eBay there is an Israeli seller called zahalorg. They also have a website called zahal.org. They do IMI and FOBUS holsters at good prices. You have a couple of M9 pistols right? I know that WE pistols are usually a bit too big for real steel holsters (because they are not completely 1:1 scale) but I'm not sure about other brands. You can get a holster with a paddle attachment to fit under the waistband and also buy it with a MOLLE adapter so it will attach to your plate carrier / belt platform / chest rig. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/IMI-Defense-Retention-Roto-Holster-For-Beretta-92-96-IMI-Z1250-/351039063511?pt=US_Holsters&var=&hash=item51bb8f05d7 Here's a FOBUS M92 Holster: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fobus-Paddle-Holster-for-Beretta-92F-BR2-/350804993490?pt=US_Holsters&hash=item51ad9b65d2
  2. You can cover up your gun with camouflage tape as long as it is non-permanent. So you can put it on when you get to a skirmish but you must remove it before you leave!
  3. It's a good rifle, I'm looking at buying one myself. I think it will be alright until you can upgrade, but since I don't have one myself I wouldn't take my word for it. You could probably find it a bit cheaper somewhere else. I'm looking at mine from Poland for £100 (I doubt they will do two-tone though) If you're looking to upgrade it, i would recommend ASPUK. AFAIK a lot of snipers like to go for expensive Prometheus / PDI / Laylax parts etc but some brands can be ridiculously expensive.
  4. Free shipping at UKTactical! :D Unfortunately don't have the money for a rig yet but will be ordering a few things

Just ordered a WAS T-Shirt, double pistol mag pouch and double AK mag pouch in OD. :)

10% off the Nemesis rigs as well so they are £55 I think. Wanted one in A-TACS FG myself.

  5. I'd say a magnifier is pretty useful. Another option would be having a magnified optic by itself, yet it is slower to aim. Plus, your peripheral vision is limited. Alternatively you could have a scope with a Docter sight on top, but they are most likely going to be more expensive. A magnifier can be quickly flipped up or down when needed to adapt for CQC or longer range engagements - and you can aim quicker using a red dot / holographic. By the way I just bought an AFG myself (the one I linked)
  6. Clone AFG in black http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PTS-AFG2-angled-foregrip-black-de-tan-airsoft-fore-grip-dark-earth-magpul-design/181427404708?_trksid=p2047675.c100011.m1850&_trkparms=aid%3D222006%26algo%3DSIC.FITP%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20140107083358%26meid%3D7358819020480761998%26pid%3D100011%26prg%3D20140107083358%26rk%3D2%26rkt%3D10%26sd%3D181397379969 EDIT: Warrior Assault Systems T-Shirt, double pistol magazine pouch and double AK magazine pouch. All in OD.
  7. When you buy a PTT you just need to make sure it's the right plug so for example it will usually say for Kenwood or Motorola Talkabout. For example I know Z-Tactical aren't a great brand but I'm looking at these: http://www.wgcshop.com/wgc2008/main/product_detail1.php?search_From=category&item=ZTHK-Z113-MTA&search=special&rs=Headsets&catid=1&cat=&view_choice=c http://www.wgcshop.com/wgc2008/main/product_detail1.php?search_From=category&item=ZTHK-Z124-MTA&search=special&rs=Headsets&catid=1&cat=&view_choice=c Headset choice shouldn't matter AFAIK but I'm also looking at a cheap ZTac: http://www.wgcshop.com/wgc2008/main/product_detail3.php?tabpage=3&search=special&rs=Headsets&item=ZTHK-Z029-BK&search_From=category Hope this is helpful.
  8. AFG 1 for £9 here: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PTS-AFG2-angled-foregrip-black-de-tan-airsoft-fore-grip-dark-earth-magpul-design/181427404708?_trksid=p2047675.c100011.m1850&_trkparms=aid%3D222006%26algo%3DSIC.FITP%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20140107083358%26meid%3D7358819020480761998%26pid%3D100011%26prg%3D20140107083358%26rk%3D2%26rkt%3D10%26sd%3D181397379969

  11. That's helped me as well, cheers cheeseright.
  12. I would say communication and co-ordination are pretty key to your team's effectiveness. Just talk / relay anything that is useful (except if you're dead!) and it should help you to be a lot more successful. In terms of personal skills I don't have much to say but transition your rifle to the other shoulder when you go around corners and things so you are less exposed. 'Slice the pie' / keeping your pistol close go your chest in CQC and things like that. It helps a lot to do anything you can that could help in close quarters when speed and manueverability is so important.
  13. Welcome to the forum
  14. You want Lexan polycarbonate. IIRC, you can get an A4 sheet thick enough for under a tenner, an A3 size piece is something like £12-£13. I have seen thickness go up to 10mm but I'm not sure what thickness would be best myself.
  15. If you really wanted to upgrade the gun I would at least test out some of these parts you want to put on it first. You could buy a new stock and then realise you don't even like it or it doesn't make a difference. It will cost you £60-£100 for just an aesthetic upgrade - money you could spend on more useful things like Tac said. I would agree with everyone else on the battery, IIRC you use roughly 1 mA per shot. (So 800mAh = 800 shots) It's best to go for the highest capacity possible (that will comfortably fit in your handguard) and a good charger to go with it.
  16. You could alternatively use a custom stencil but as far as I know there are no UK based companies making vinyl camouflage pattern stencils. I could ask if a normal vinyls company (making signs / stickers and things) would make one... I might ask the guy selling this if he will ship over here: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Duracoat-Cerakote-Krylon-Machine-cut-stencil-sheet-Kryptek-camo-pattern-/271457960684#shpCntId Kryptek Mandrake (Woodland) I want one of my (future) guns to look a bit like this:
  17. Internals wouldn't be a problem but it could be different for the receiver. I'd want to have a defence to be on the safe side before ordering from abroad. Since they are individual parts I don't think it matters if someone is paying you for them, as far as I know the VCRA concerns complete replicas. I agree it is a loophole, but there are quite a few already. I mean, there's nothing to really stop you buying an IF in the first place, because you could lie about your age. Somebody could just paint an orange gun black if they wanted. I don't think anyone has ever been arrested for illegal possession of one. If the whole idea was to stop violent crime, then all these criminals must be even more stupid than we think, because they can't even get a spray can. If you were a serious criminal you wouldn't rob banks and stuff with an imitation...stupid law but hey it isn't hard for a legitimate airsofter to get a defence so I'm not complaining.
  18. It's a MAGPUL AFG1, as said above. The PTS version is about £30 but I have seen a UK seller doing a clone version for £9 shipped on eBay. I don't have it saved on my iPad but I can get post a link to it later. You don't need the magnifier for an EOTech Holographic but it gives you a 3x magnification and you can flip it to the side for when it in use and have no zoom.
  19. Was looking at meme patches earlier, there should be a Y U NO TAKE HITS patch. Might get some done :)

  20. Personally I would say there are better sites to buy from in terms of customer service / quality but selection of cheaper guns isn't great on proper airsoft sites. Admittedly though, BB gun sites are good if you just want something from target practice. I just wouldn't buy anything £50+ because they overcharge for a lot of their stuff like their RIFs which you can buy cheaper elsewhere. There is just a lot of us here on the forums who don't like the 'BB gun' sites because they tend to make up things about their guns, delete any bad things you say about them and so on. Not to mention their bad service. That said I've honestly never had a problem with them in that respect (although I don't buy from them anymore for the above reasons) Most people would recommend you save up and buy a good starter rifle or pistol. I know you only want a cheap gun but a WE or KJW pistol / G&G Combat Machine would last longer / be more fun to shoot and be good at a skirmish if you wanted to do that.
  21. Would be awesome to have a couple buildings / urban environment surrounded by trees, so an attacking team could have to fight through a forest, and when they got to the clearing the rest of a defending team have to hold them off.
  22. Battle Royale sounds like a lot of fun Halo Mill might be trying a Trouble in Terrorist Town sort of thing according to their Facebook
  23. I wouldn't recommend you buy from any site with 'bb guns' in the name. They are bad, especially JBBG. Don't take them anywhere public, that is a bad idea.
  24. It will be fine as long as you take it off before you leave.
  25. Alternatively, airsoftworld sells a King Kong 2014 Burst Wizard MOSFET for £35 IIRC.
