  1. Thanks very much Ed! That was very helpful, but I was wondering how to dis-assemble the lower / grip and get that dipped - not the slide. Like this: (but in A-TACS FG or Kryptek Mandrake) Then again, getting just the slide dipped would not doubt be the cheaper option. Not to mention that if it's just the frame I get done, you won't really see it when it is being held anyway. The Kryptek (Highlander?) slide on the Glock looks awesome: Again, thanks again for all the help. I'll get the G17, and a couple of WE mags from Patrol Base.
  2. So I'm considering to be buying a WE Glock 17 (Gen 4) from TaiwanGun or Gunfire. Alternatively, is the WE Glock 18 (also fourth gen) worth it for only about £9 more? To be honest, I'm concerned I would get carried away using full auto if I bought one and wear down the internals too quickly. The 17 is £84.49 and the 18 £93.55. I will be buying either Marui magazines from Fire Support (I imagine ~ £30 each with postage) or WE magazines that are £22.50 in total. Running this holster: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fobus-Paddle-Holster-for-Glock-20-21-/350805425863?pt=US_Holsters&hash=item51ada1fec7 What I want to know: 1) Will a Madbull 6.03 TBB do much to improve accuracy? I know it shouldn't be an essential upgrade, but basically is it worth £20 (or is it fine using the stock barrel?) 2) I'm assuming that the magazine baseplate is the correct scale? Because I would like to know if they are compatible with this: http://www.zahal.org/products/tactical-modular-glock-mag-extension?path_parent=218383 and if the WE mags could take these: http://gunfire.pl/product-eng-1152194097-Magazine-grip-for-TM-Glock-17.html 3) Finally, I'd like to get the frame hydro dipped, probably by the guys at Camo Lab. I rather wouldn't remove all the parts from the frame as I bet all the important internal parts will be difficult to re-install. What are your thoughts, should it be easy enough? I wouldn't mind paying the additional charge for dis-assembly twice so they can do this for me. Looking at £50-ish for the dip itself / work / postage then I guess. Would I need to use a courier for shipping? Ok hope those questions didn't sound too stupid. Thanks in advance as well for any help. EDIT: Sorry I guess I should've posted this in technical help / advice :|
  3. What's so bad about Bolt recoil rifles again? I really like they have blowback and are rear-wired which is exactly what the KWA is missing, but the Bolt's recoil damages the gbox or something?

Cheaper at LWA (£330) compared to the Bolts which are £350 at Patrol Base, Zero One, AW, PAS.

Oh I thought the bolts were like 250-270 lol, yeah a kwa will sh*t all over it.

the Rm4 is really good if your looking for a recoil aeg....although its still not quite like a gbb for realism

  4. Both of those sites are excellent, a lot of people use them and they are supposed to be very good.
  5. That's actually a really cool idea. Better externals than those new Ares guns
  6. Well, what kind of help do you need? Like the other guys have said, I don't think we could really help you guys out much since you're in America. We could give advice but you are going to be a lot better on a US forum.
  7. Propper are mil-spec quality as well so I'd say they're the best to get (since it's the cheapest option) Only thing I'd want to know is if they are likely to fade like the Propper A-TACS FG. AFAIK A-TACS FG is the only Propper pattern which has a fading problem and others have been okay.
  8. Might have finally got a job :) yey! on another note: thoughts on the KWC Mini Uzi?

To be completely honest man I didn't go out and look for one myself but it's a long story. I have been going around shops and looking for jobs previously though! Don't want to take credit for something I haven't done, you know. But you are right it can be hard to get a job with all the competition.

using heavier BBs doesn't lower the power of your gun. putting a 0.25 in to record lower FPS on chrono is cheating.

      Oh right...yeah ofc :| sh*t. I'll have a look for a valve then.

  9. I constantly have several loadout ideas at once. I like to look a camo that isn't so common, but which actually works well for your environment. Everyone runs around in MTP nowadays.
  10. I'd really like the Tokyo Marui MWS, but G&P / KWA GBBRs are £300-£400. Won't TM be even more? Magazines will probably be more expensive as well. I'll stick to saving up for a G5 I think. EDIT: Ah okay so expected price is ¥54,800 or ~£320. I'm still guessing mags will be a lot though.

SHS or ZCI high torques are better,G&P motors have been overtaken by a lot of other companies. They are not particularly bad,but there are just better motors out there. As a torque motor,it falls short. As a balanced motor it's decent but the ZCI balanced still overtakes it.

      Okay, thanks!

  11. You have no videos though? Edit: Sorry they just didn't show up for some reason the first time :/
  12. You should try that Fiverr website mate. There should be graphic designers and that on there who can do one for you.
  13. Are WE 1911s 1:1?

      Pretty much, they're crap though.

  14. I'm looking at buying a lot of magazines from eHobby Asia and RSOV. I'd say you're fine at the price you are paying. As a rule I try to stick to paying under £50 in total. The reason for this is because AFAIK if 20% of the total is under £9, then you won't have to pay tax / import duty. It explains why you don't pay any extra charges on cheap things you might pay a tenner for from HK. There are MAG MP5 mid-caps I can get for £31 including shipping but to buy them from Airsoft Supply Drop would be £55! (£60 posted) A box of five King Arms magazines - £27 shipped. Metal ones - £44.
  15. They're usually made of Lexan (like the real ones AFAIK) so they could survive thousands of rounds. I wouldn't say it's cheating if it's used objectively say as part of the game mode but otherwise then it would probably be unfair. I'd probably allow their use but you wouldn't be able to use a weapon at the same time so it would require teamwork for both sides to use it and to work against one.
  16. They're my local shop so I don't get anything delivered. If their service is as good as it is at the shop then it should be great. I have heard a lot of praise from other people as well. Two-tone is great in my opinion, but I haven't been able compare it to other two-tone services such as Zero One's. Exactly Dave. I'm going to be upgrading my MP5K and potentially some tech work on my current M4 at some point. Then I could be a bit more open to working with other guns. I need to learn someday and confidence comes with experience.
  17. Ah well - if I get an expensive gun like a KWA RM4 or G&G / LCT AK I would probably get Patrol Base to do upgrades.
  18. Want! So it's just a plug in and you don't have to do any rewiring or anything?
  19. I buy my BBs from Patrol Base as well. If you want to get anything from TaiwanGun, their P&J / TaiwanGun BBs are very cheap but actually are good quality. IIRC, they're just a little bit worse than King Arms ones. If you spend over £55 it's worth getting some, otherwise you pay £11 shipping.
  20. I thought you weren't allowed to have sites so close to a road? Anyway, looks good

  22. If you want longer range remember it's not necessarily barrel length but the quality. The G&G Fire Hawk for example, it's got like a 192mm barrel but can still get shots on target out to a good distance. I don't know what the G&G UMG is like for upgrading in terms of hop units / inner barrels though. AFAIK there are none. I know you said you're not really bothered on style, but would help a lot if you could be a bit more specific in generally what kind of guns you're interested in. So AR / AK etc. These are the ones I'm trying to decide between myself: G&G AKM http://www.landwarriorairsoft.com/airsoft-weapons-c38/electric-rifles-c45/gkm-ak47-full-metal-real-wood-p1579 G&G GK74N http://www.zerooneairsoft.com/product_info.php?manufacturers_id=66&products_id=8599 KWA RM4 ERG (Scout or CQC) http://www.landwarriorairsoft.com/airsoft-weapons-c38/electric-rifles-c45/pts-pts-rm4-scout-erg-p2286 Not that you have to spend that much obvs these are just some of the more expensive options. You could upgrade the AKs with a Madbull 455mm TBB or the Scout with a 363mm TBB which should increase range and accuracy a bit more.
