Okay won't worry too much about it now :| just gonna have to see if it comes. We might have worked it out now.

Think those emails could have been for the earlier cancelled order

Haha Monty :) cheers Jay. Hopefully we got it right now then. Probably just my fault for cancelling those orders, chad us confused for a bit there.

  2. Wow people on Pretend You're Xyzzy are stupid. No sense of humour at all.

Yep. So true. I went there once with a friend to play cards against humanity. Not funny at all.

They have an AMERICAN sense of humour. Which is to say none at all

  3. Can't understand Cerberus' Airsoft booking - once it said they do have a game at The Sandpit on the tenth, now it says no upcoming events.

Are you getting companies mixed up? The sandpit is run by UCAP... unless cerberus are using UCAP's site for a gameday?

No it's a different site but it's called The Sandpit as well

      ah ok I see :)

  4. Well a lot of people probably wouldn't know that. It is based on a real firearm but I can't remember its name and I think it was only ever a prototype for the Polish modernisation programme.
  5. You bought one, and then asked if they're any good...? I saw a few reviews on the UAR when it was new and they all seemed pretty positive but they were mostly retailers, so bound to be biased and not say anything too negative. The 501 is an upgraded version so it should work better with mid-caps and it has thicker wiring. I wouldn't trust their 11.1v LiPo ready statement though.
  6. By WebTex mesh did you mean a scrim net sort of thing? I saw decorative net was suggested for making a ghillie suit but the stuff I found doesn't look right (as in the size of the holes / spaces in the netting looks too big sort of)
  7. Made an account on DIY Tactical

Custom packs / pouches etc etc

I'm way out of my depth lol :)

  8. For fucks sake my reply has dissappeared twice now bloody phone browser . A LiPo should improve your trigger response and rate of fire compared to a standard NiMh battery. They're also smaller than NiMhs. You should be able to run a 7.4V in your gun fine without a MOSFET. I get my BBs from Patrol Base, not sure if it's the cheapest place though. They're £7 a bottle I think for 0.20s or you buy a 3 bottle bundle and you save a bit. Same with the 0.25s except I think they will be about £8 for 3000.
  9. I use ASG Blasters 0.20s but I'd recommend 0.25g BBs.
  10. Now THIS is the kind of ghillie I want to make! http://www.airsoftsniperforum.com/37-concealment/5460-tacs-fg-mamba-inspired-ghillie-build-thread.html Hope I can source some materials from Europe (I know you can get stuff over here but no mil-spec stuff or A-TACS mesh or anything good like that)

Found tacticaltrim.de straight away, has a lot of cool sh*t for sale you can't buy over here (for some reason)

LevelCap did a (surprisingly) good video on how to build a Ghillie suit, obviously you'll have to use different vegetation than he did, but if you dig the video out it'd be a good starting point.

If you make a good ghillie like that, I'll give ya my 870 if ya make me one :-)

  11. I saw a Spanish blokes YouTube airsoft videos and he uses a drone a lot. I'll have to see if I can find the videos again because I'm sure he must have mentioned the drone he has in one of them. I saw another video ages ago, I believe it was a team of lads, with their own professional drone, and I think they mourned an airsoft gun on the bottom. I'm not completely sure as I only very vaguely remember it but it was a cool video. Simple YouTube search should hopefully bring up a few results. There's also a site in Wales IIRC who did a fly around of their site and I think it was a drone photography who did it. Can't remember the name of the site but I think it has dragon in the name..? (Not sure if I'm thinking of that Asian retailer that sells helmets? It's called red dragon or something) I don't think it's a bad idea at all, I think it would be a lot of fun and a great way to capture the action. In terms of the law, I believe it would be perfectly fine since you aren't filming random people in public or anything like that . I'd ask the site before you went to the skirmish to see if they'd allow it. If there was a safety concern but if I were them I'd just say don't fly too low. Speaking of prices - these ones on here are incredibly cheap in comparison! http://www.aliexpress.com/wholesale?SearchText=Drone&catId=&initiative_id=SB_20140803085736 I highly doubt they are very good since a proper one will cost hundreds...but I guess it shows you could get one pretty affordably.
  12. I'm sorry I can't remember who made it, but someone on here made an awesome Judge Dredd loadout.
  13. Good work I am going to start mine soon but just need to source some jute / hessian material and glue. I already have a DPM BDU shirt and paracord.
  14. M24 should be here Wednesday :) Need to decide on a scope and build a ghillie platform / concealment poncho style sort of thing.

LevelCap has a pretty good video/tutorial on making a ghillie suit. Worth checking out.

Yeah I will need to decide on a scope for Matilda soon. Not going to bother with a ghillie. Was looking at http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00ITBR8IE/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATI6GBAAV0ETR

  15. If I'm not mistaken the Marui 870 breacher (can't remember actual designation) came out yesterday in Japan. Or at least it will be released soon and available over here in a bit. Could be getting mixed up with Marui's new M&P.
  16. Never used any other forum than this one

You just broke the internet... You found something endorsed by Airsoft Surgeon that costs less than infinite monies.

  17. First one I had was a Viper SWAT vest in OD. Not bad, good for a beginner. Set me back around £40 from Patrol Base which is a pair price. I have a review of my Bulle rig in the gear reviews section. Very well priced at about £25 IIRC and has held up well. Features I like are the UTX hardware and admin panel section which can fold away. Will move to a Warrior DCS plate carrier later. For my urban / arid loadout I will get a Warrior 901 in A-TACS AU or alternatively a Flyye FAPC in coyote brown (affordable but no cummerbund)
  18. Anyone know if these or owt similar are sold int UK? http://store.tactical-performance.com/a-tscsle/M-100LE.html

I could probably ask The Grange as I've noticed they have a few TPI things in stock. They look really good.

      M_P

Check too, tpc stuff pops up on there occasionally

  19. It isn't unfortunately. Genuine Troy one (well this is a Madbull replica)
  20. Try Patrol Base for a Madbull one? They did stock quite a few lengths, could be out of stock though. EDIT: sorry yeah they are out of stock. They could probably order one in for you though.
  21. Some surplus DPM or MTP clothing would be a good idea because you can find it easily and probably in various sizes. Mechanix gloves are very good but they are £15-£40. Maybe try some of those paintball type gloves, they are only about £6 or so on eBay I think. Hope this helps.
