Also worth mentioning I'd make sure it's a genuine one? Because there are a lot of clones. From what I've seen almost all of them are fake on eBay...but then again doesn't necessarily mean they're bad. Dunno what most guys are actually using.

Well or just an adaptor would be easier. It's what I do. Look at batteries from Component Shop, at Patrol Base and LWA. Those are places I've found are good for buying batteries. Not sure what they're like but I'd consider the WE chargers for £13-£15 There's also the IMAX B6 but don't think it has a Tamiya connector. I would recommend switching your gun from mini Tamiya to Deans connectors because there's less resistance. Then buy Deans wired LiPos and the IMAX B6. Patrol Base and Component Shop can change batteries to LiPo for you.

I tried modifying my mesh lower face pro but fucked it up. As there seem to be lots of slightly different designs, and lots of places to buy them from, where would you guys recommend? Saw a guy at Halo a while back whose fitted perfectly with the goggles he had, but don't know where he got it. I think unless they're Desert Locusts or ESS Profiles (not both, just one of them I'm not sure which) the face pro won't fit them properly. I actually have a Proto Switch mask as well but when it arrived I noticed it had a black mark on it...and it actually says in the manual IIRC to not use it if it has a black mark on the lens.

Can you narrow it down a bit more to guns you like? Do you want an AK, AR, Sig... ? But yeah G&G are a very good manufacturer

The cheapest GBB SMG / PDW I know is the WE MP7 thing. I say thing because it doesn't look exactly like one (not sure of the actual name) It got a lot of bad reviews. Probably won't be reliable. For £225 - £250 you can get a GHK G5. About £300 for a TM MP7 or WE Apache MP5A4.

I got a FOBUS GL-3 G20/G21 holster but the Glock 17 still won't without modification. I've seen on a few sites it will fit TM and KWA though. IIRC a SERPA defo will work.

Depends on the manufacturer. My dad has an Umarex one but it's definitely a budget gun and it feels quite cheap (but not so bad like I thought it would break if I dropped it) I imagine ICS on the other hand will be good quality polymer but will see if there are any replies about that. I'm sure someone must have used one. JG are supposed to make good G36s too. An M4 would give your more upgrade options in the long term though because it's the most commonly made gun and there are so many easily available parts for the AR platform. I don't think any of them over £200 are going to not be metal.

Well first thing I can say is don't get a WE 1911 / Hi Capa. They're notoriously sh*t. Maybe OK in hot weather but no good here. I'd have thought they should work fine with propane as it's the same as green gas (w/out silicone oil) and seems most of people actually use green gas in TMs. If the PX4 is anything like the M9 it could be either good or bad. If it's based off the old model it might not be great, the M9A1 version however is newer and improved a lot. I don't know if they were released around the same time or not. Maybe the slide issue could suggest it's actually based on the older M9 (as older Marui pistols couldn't handle stronger gas as well, then Marui re-designed their gas valves to withstand green gas) In which case I would avoid. I saw in a YouTube video (one of Jarek4's) he had a WE Barry Burton M9 slide blow up on him too. BUT Don't take my input too strongly as I've never actually used or owned one personally. :\
