  1. I have just received a Classic Army MP5A3 from Gunfire.com. Product value:£136.99 Shipping costs:£20.73 Total:£157.72 Plus customs charges of £42.67 Cheaper than buying one in the UK, plus nobody has them in stock anyway. Gunfire has a minimum order value to the UK of £135 for the exact reasons stated above, they've stopped using UPS and moved over to GLS because they're less of a shower of shit. Shipment was prompt, the only real delay was in GLS telling Parcelforce what the customs value was so they could charge me.
  2. Not sure you can, nor would I advise it. You would be putting a lot of extra load on the barrel and if you use it as God intended to brrrtttt the bejesus out of all and sundry then you will hasten the demise of said weapon.
  3. When a site states a limit they are usually referring to the muzzle velocity as tested with a 0.2g BB. There will now follow a torrent of posts telling you that they should be using Joules.
  4. Don't suppose there's anyone here with Engineering experience that wants a job as an Account Manager is there?

Might know someone drop me a pm

  5. I'm guessing you saw it here: http://www.nashvilleairsoft.com/custom-gun-gallery/? It's a custom job. AR lower, what looks like a heavily modified SCAR upper and an LR300 stock. Ignore me It's what he said.
  6. I wear specs but I use contacts when I play. I also sweat like a paedo in Mothercare so I've spent a lot of time and money on "anti fogging" stuff. I now wear a pair of @heroshark's mesh goggles. Take from that what you will. The ONLY goggles I have found to be reliable in preventing fogging to any real degree are ESS Profile Turbofans. Most "military" or adventure type eyewear is designed to be used on the move so if you get sweaty then stand still they will fog to some degree, worse if it's cold and/or damp. I've also tried Rx inserts and 9 times our of ten if the goggles aren't steaming up, the inserts are or vice versa depending on the ambient conditions.
  7. And the right barrel, gas block, flash hider... It's an M249 Para with a RIS guard and a MK46 stock shoehorned on!
  8. They make decent gear (I have one of their baofeng holsters) but you're right that they don't do anything for a 226. You can get a brand new Fobus for less than the price of a second hand safariland though.
  9. Pretty sure it's either fixed or sat in a box doing nothing by now...
  10. New pew! Classic Army MP5A3 because SEF lower > recoil.
  11. Hi and welcome back! They have two sites but yes, they are near Collards. The Alpha site is where they tend to host the Milsim and Filmsim games, Camp Bravo is set up for skirmish type games.
  12. Different battery chemistry though. Not all LiPo batteries are created equal! If you abuse a phone battery or it's poorly installed you can still get 'splodey nastiness!
  13. Yeah, they will. The cart screws up from time to time but the actual billed amount will be picked up correctly.
  14. My stock Cyma SOCOM is awesome, try running it on 0.28s but keep it stock!
  15. You'd need to add a new spring too though. Every Cyma M14 I've fitted a new barrel to has bumped it up over 350FPS! Cyma M14s are THE BEST though. Or this:
  16. Any particular reason (other than just wanting to support UK business which is entirely fair)
  17. My brother in law has a resin printer. Is nice.
  18. Last game out I lost the gas plug from the front of my Cyma M14 Socom. Cue much searching of the inetrwebs and the only replacements I can find are the PDI ones that purport to be for the TM M14 range. So I splash out on both the regular and short gas plugs along with a Smith Enterprises front sight (if you know you know) BUT the PDI gas plugs are not the same thread as my various M14s (one ASG/Cyma longboi, Cyma M14 Socom and a Cyma EBR Mod 1). After much fiddling with my digital calipers the PDI ones appear to be M10 x 1.25 but the original ones are M10 x 1.12 (possibly M10 x 1.0). The question is - do I drill it out and fit an M10 x 1.25 helicoil or just try and push an M10 x 1.25 plug tap down and hope there's enough meat for the thread to form? What say you, engineering types?
  19. The MP7 has a really long motor shaft.
  20. It won't. The TW shell is a very different shape than a Maritime. FMA do a TW cover though, if you can't find one then the OPS FAST helmet cover will fit or an Agilite TW cover (which is way more expensive but rather lovely).
  21. I'm not sure at all, I just looked at what is shown as the current range on the JG Works website!
