  1. Tube is the same length, it's the angle of the picture that makes it look like that.
  2. Don't really want to start taking a dremel to my cylinder head thanks. And no, that other thing isn't a cylinder head. It's the spring guide. But then you already knew that. I hope.
  3. One of these things is not like the other: On the left the original Cyma cylinder head, on the right a Lonex V3 cylinder head. See that big lump around the rim of the Lonex one? Yeah, that quite efficiently stops it fitting into the gearbox. Anyone else had this? Seems all the ASG Ultimate and Lonex branded ones are like this but the SHS ones aren't. Is there a different type of V3 box or have they just packaged the whole thing up wrong?
  4. Hasegawa and trumpeter for accurate ww1 and ww2 kits. Tamiya are better than airfix but so are Heller/humbrol. None are as good as hasegawa or trumpeter though.
  5. Seems you're not the only onehttp://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1965878
  6. Just bought an fma L/xl and it's 61cm max. Actually a bit snug on my massive swede.
  7. We tried using an A-Team van to deliver remote dets but the first trial blew the crap out of it :-( Shame really, it played the theme tune while it was going along.
  8. Check the bottom of the hider, if there's a little grub screw undo it and the 22mm bit will screw off to reveal a 14mm ccw thread.
  9. There's a huge difference between being married and being under the thumb.
  10. You mean the thread under the original flash hider is 22mm?
  11. Not as such but it came up in conversation with one of his mates. Seemed a bit too much of a coincidence so hence the question...
  12. Random question - do you know a guy called Ryan that's just bought a tan vfc SCAR?
  13. That's good. My buddy only has the mag it came with and they're pretty hard to find now....unless you have a source?
  14. Not surprised they're pretty old now. Not even sure if they have an adjustable hop to be honest! Do you have more than one mag?
  15. Blimey! My buddy has one of those too, like rocking horse poo! Component shop can do custom battery shapes but it might be worth trying a small 7.4v 1000mAh Lipo in there.
  16. Nice. What are the NE MPLS like? was thinking of one as a navigation light rather than using my weapon light!
  17. I've just bought an FMA BJ helmet as I too am sick of getting hit in that little D shaped hole in my baseball cap. I mostly play CQB so it's all close range and getting a bit sore! Shouldn't think I'll struggle to hear rounds hitting it though.
  18. Justto add that while in real use yes, uniforms help you identify who is on whose side that all goes out the window in an airsoft skirmish as both sides will have a mix of camo/non camo/jeans and hoodies. Pick what you like the look of and learn to hide properly. Not being seen at airsoft ranges has more to do with good use of cover and thinking about how you move than it does with whether you wear Arid Flecktarn or Multiglam.
  19. Does it have an NPAS valve fitted? You could fine tune it that way...
  20. I hate to sound like a dick but I would save your money and spend it on getting a better gun.
  21. I think you might like to watch this first: chrono test starts at around 8mins 30s. FPS with 0.25g goes up by 100FPS! You may well find that the Angry Gun suppressor pushes you over your site limit!
  22. Have you already sent/given it to said shop for spraying? If you're planning on wrapping it in sniper tape anyway what difference does it make if you don't get it done before the weekend? There's so many variables involved with work load, type of finish you ask for, how much needs disassembling that any estimate you get here will be total finger in the air guesswork and most probably wrong anyway! Why not just get a can of Krylon and do it yourself?
