  1. To be honest I don't get rules like that. Either allow LMGs or don't. The whole point of a support gun is continuous suppressive fire. If you're not allowed to do that then why even bother?

    Gearboxes

Small screwdriver up the back end of the spring guide. And more hands than average...
  3. That happens everywhere though...
  4. Ermm....what? A FAST helmet really doesn't make that much difference to the size of your head. What are you concerned about?
  5. Interesting....they don't always open the third room to be fair. Unless of course they've done something since I was last there (about 6 weeks back).
  6. Glad you enjoyed yourself!
  7. There's plenty of space. There's three parts to the safe zone all kitted out with tables, benches and chairs. You may not get a table/bench depending on how early you get there but you'll certainly get somewhere. There's usually a marshal about to keep an eye on things and the main door is kept shut once things kick off so it's secure too.
  8. And another thing - everyone saying that it would be easy to smash the window, if it's double glazed it's really not that easy to break. Not without either shattering the entire pane with something pointy in the corner or indeed without waking up the whole street. Of course, if it's not double glazed you may as well leave it open...
  9. Here's a question - is it actually the OP's house or his parents? Or is it multiple occupation? In either case, if he's in the minority then it doesn't matter. Take the keys out like everyone else does and get on with your life. If of course it IS his house then screw them, it's your house your rules.
  10. Jesus, is this still going?
  11. Possibly, but there IS an hk45 specific IMI Roto holster available.
  12. They just have a third hand with twelve fingers on it!
  13. That's what she said.
  14. I know you can make car parts from CF but then they're a lot more heavy duty than the parts we're talking about here. Internal bracing and reinforcement isn't really an option in small parts like M4 receivers. On a complete side note, I remember being amazed at how light CF parts can be when I was helping with an RFID tracking demo at a composite car parts manufacturer on the Isle of Wight and a small lady walked past carrying the whole side of an Aston Martin...
  15. Difficult for me to comment on that because (as is well documented here) I really don't like Glocks. I literally got it yesterday so I haven't had a chance to use it in anger but it feels great in the hand (I have big hands) and is a nice weight. Well put together as with all TMs. It's much bigger in the hand than a Glock though so if that's a game changer then it may not be for you.
  16. True.... I have ordered an extra mag from them now though so thanks for the heads up!
  17. Dammit. They were out of stock when I looked.
  18. Just FYI, that is STILL a Honey Badger. It's just a replica of the short handguard model.
  19. They're spendy though. Mine was £160 with one mag. And nobody seems to have spare mags in stock....
  20. Carbon fibre accessories always make me think of Saxo dashboards and Max Power. And then it makes me sad. Unless I'm remembering it wrong CF still has the ability to fail at any given moment from a slight knock in the wrong direction so I'm not entirely sure it'll be durable enough for an airsoft gun...

When I was looking at buying a RIF from Fire Support and Zero One I asked and they both said they would ship to an alternate address. My M14 from TWG was shipped to an alternative address without any question or objection whatsoever.
  22. There will be other times! I'm fortunate in that I don't have these "kids" of which you speak to spend all my money for me.....

Yeah, to be fair it was down the the warehouse not doing what they were told. Still, it arrived where I actually wanted it to so..... I don't quite get why there was the issue of having to be sent to my UKARA registered address though, I've had RIFs delivered to my office no problem in the past.
