  1. It's like any effective tool, it's open to abuse. I agree that it can get a bit much if someone is strobing every little dark corner but then the same criticism could be levelled at people like Greg and JC at the Mall who use night vision and/or excessive amounts of pyro. Someone will always have a problem with anything that puts the other player at a tactical advantage. Does a tactical advantage make something wrong? Not in my book, no.
  2. Really? What Fords have you been driving?!?!?!
  3. Legit. Whiney bitch.
  4. No. You need the delta ring to hold it on.
  5. I think Cumbria are about it for current service users of the 53 but yeah, go for it! I like them myself but the front end just seems too short for me. Prefer the 33. Or even better the G3KA4. mmmmmmm....KA4...[makes Homer noises]
  6. It would be..."ok" But you should get this one instead: http://www.componentshop.co.uk/accucel-6-digital-charger-with-5a-power-supply.html
  7. I see where you're coming from but if you want a Police look wouldn't an MP5 be better anyway? Personally I prefer the SEF lower because I hate the way the ambi selector digs into my index finger when you try and set it to Auto!
  8. NOOOOoooo....... that's an 11.1V one (the 3S means 3 cells in series so the voltage is higher). You want this one: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__17291__Turnigy_nano_tech_1800mah_2S_20_40C_Lipo_AIRSOFT_Pack.html
  9. Actually - sorry. The FPS is irrelevant it's the Joules (energy) you need to worry about. 0.86g @ 150FPS = 0.89 Joules 0.2g @ 320FPS = 1 Joule Then you get shot in the face by a bolt action sniper running at 450FPS which would give you 1.87 Joules and no eyes.
  10. Also - why?
  11. No. Or to be more helpful - no you want EN166B medium impact. Which only really applies to goggles unless you get ballistic glasses which are rated to higher impacts.
  12. The fire selector on an A5 is different. The firing positions wouldn't match up correctly with the gearbox and obviously the 3 round burst wouldn't work.
  13. Which also retails around £1200...
  14. Blind luck. After the first game the marshals will try and balance the teams if they can.
  15. I have a couple of Warrior DNSR mag pouches, maybe a couple of Warrior 90 round M4 pouches too. One short STANAG open pouch. Maybe some others. I'll have a look and ping you a list if you like.
  16. And most of them don't work properly. Just get G36 mags.
  17. As and when you're ready I have a few Coyote Tan pouches going spare. You can get first dibs before I list them up on here if you fancy.
  18. I'm sure you're right to a degree but I wear a chest rig with a back plate so basically the same area as a PC and I know when I've been hit. It's just down to paying attention to what's going on. Maybe it's more peoples playing style or where they play that dictates whether or not a PC will stop them feeling their hits? I can see how too much gear would stop you feeling it at woodland ranges but somewhere like the Mall? No. That's more likely the adrenaline and confusion of playing a hectic site that people aren't used to in my opinion. As to my comment above - surely you can see how it came across?
  19. *ahem* I'll just leave that there then....
  20. Surely though if you shim the magwell to be snug you won't get the mag to latch properly? It works OK for M4's because the mag catch is sprung in from the side, an M14 mag latches in by inserting the front edge first. If it's too snug it won't pivot in properly.
  21. Just run them through the shoulder pads.
  22. I would suggest you take a look at the Warrior Assault Systems DCS http://www.uktactical.com/c-317-eliteops-dcs-coytan-armour.aspx They certainly adjust pretty big!
  23. What is that? A gun cupboard for ants? It needs to be at least....3 times bigger!!! But seriously, nice stealth cupboard.
  24. I figured it was comedy I did find someone saying that they'd bought the Lonex hop for their G&G M14 but that it was actually worse that the stock one. As you say, doesn't seem to be a whole lot of info about...
