  1. Airguns and airsoft are two completely different things. If you're after airguns, you're in the wrong place. The Umarex Legends M1A1 is an AIRGUN not an AIRSOFT gun.
  2. That's for an airgun, not an airsoft gun.

  5. Such is the law of the universe.
  6. Unless you line one or the other with something to absorb impacts, neither will stop you feeling it when you get shot in the head. Also - if you ever wear the baseball cap back to front I can GUARANTEE you, that you will get shot in the little D shaped gap where the adjuster is. Every. Damned. Time.
  7. I can measure mine at the weekend when I get it apart, but I know the JG gearbox uses a tappet plated marked "MP5" so it's entirely possible they use an MP5 length nozzle which would account for the difference in hop size.
  8. That's all the bits that ring alarm bells for me.
  9. No problem, not had a chance I was just bored with work so I decided to take a gun apart! The difference may explain why some people swear blind the nozzle for a G3 is 20mm and others say 21.4mm!
  10. Here's the one from mine:
  11. I got a hood from AliExpress and did it up myself with some leaves and camo netting. Then wore it once. I still have most of the leaves somewhere if you want to go down the DIY route. For reference... This. Learn how to hide and you can do away with the ghillie altogether. Anyone who knows what to look for will spot someone in a ghillie if they're not properly hidden regardless.
  12. More than likely taken straight from the manufacturers blurb. Pick the one you like, chrono it when you get it and adjust accordingly.
  13. Also - from the front end to the internal ridge that secures the feed lips is 33.7mm
  14. Sure, what measurements do you want?
  15. Digging through the bits I forgot I had - found a TM G3 hop unit. I'll give it a go with an upgrade barrel in my new MC51 project and let you know what I get!
  16. Most of mine are in cases buried in the spare room right now but I have: 1991 Gibson Explorer - my first "proper" guitar, bought from Peter Cooks in Hanwell when I was 21! 90's BC Rich Bich NJ - workhorse guitar from my gigging days, has SD Jazz and JB pickups fitted and more dings and scratches than anything else. BC Rich Bich special edition - this was designed as a signature release for Mick Thomson of Slipknot just as he jumped ship to Ibanez so it has a blank fretboard but archtop and white binding. Awfully heavy bloody metal. Epiphone G3T - licenced copy of the old Steinberger cricket bat, it has a Steinberger trem and Iron Gear pickups. Plays really nice and just sits in my office for when I start noodling Westfield bowlback electro acoustic - bought it when Westfield were still trying to sell their guitars as "premium", it's pretty nice but just doesn't get played. It doesn't chug.
  17. Sounds like it's reacted with something in the wipe, possibly whatever solvent they use. It's why they both recommend using their own wipes with their lenses.
  18. @Hudson did you ever get a solution?

    JK Army

Bought plenty from them and not had any issues.
  20. Loz/Lozzy is my IRL nickname. The "art" bit came when I started painting stuff for money (which I don't do any more).
  21. Ah, I was thinking of the newer ones with the rotary hop.
  22. I would say that the majority of that improvement has come from the rubber. The hop unit in the Combat machines isn't actually that bad.
  23. I'm almost tempted to find the absolute worst PoS, overpriced MTW for sale and put the two of them in touch.
  24. Isn't that basically a 5.11 Tactec carrier?
  25. I'm guessing he's bolted on the ENTIRE catalogue from this place https://tridos.design/pages/ssx23-nano-carbine plus a few more besides. Even so, taking the piss.
