  1. MMMMM....purple is my favourite flavour!
  2. Well, that's....a choice. Also - you don't need to start spamming new threads for the same pics you've already posted elsewhere.
  3. Because they're stupid? Don't assume that anyone that worked on your gun before you knew what they were doing!
  4. Dad's will has just paid out. This could be dangerous....

Good God, my Mum's estate took around 6-7 months to complete.

      Sorry for your loss anyway.

Yeah, we had a buyer then the house flooded and it took the better part of a year to put right (trust me, it was proper fucked).

Sorry to hear that. My dad went last February after his house flooded, and we've just this month got the final payment.  I've formed an active loathing for insurers, solicitors, HMRC, councils and utilities.

Anyway, I've just bought a couple of new toys, because we're none of us on a rehearsal.

  5. I was wondering the same, my MK12 is doing 420 FPS on a M120 spring! @MrTea just to go back to basics, I assume you've checked that you're actually getting good compression with all the new cylinder/piston parts?
  6. For the love of GOD don't start chasing FPS limits. Use it, see if it's actually lacking in range/accuracy first. As for your other question, yes absolutely if the window on your barrel is too small or if the rubber hasn't gone on properly then an MR hop will catch on the edges. SHS springs can be quite wide tolerance. Pick a spring brand you like and trust (*coughs* XT @ak2m4 *cough*) and stick with it.
  7. Maybe just hang a breezeblock off the front instead?
  8. I see this time and again. People start to give perfectly well meaning advice without actually understanding what's happening. Is the hop adjusted at all, what weight ammo is being used, what ACTUAL range are you getting and what do you think you want to actually achieve? New players often overestimate what they will get from their guns and underestimate the benefits of simple things (like barrel cleaning and hop adjustment. As for the accuracy question, as has been mentioned innumerable times before airsoft guns are smoothbore toy guns firing very light ammo with a crude method of imparting additional range (ie the hop unit). If you're expecting 100m range and pinpoint accuracy then you're likely to be disappointed.
  9. How much more range? What sort of range are you getting now?
  10. I ordered one of their piston heads when they were first advertised. Took a while if I remember correctly. That said, if it says "up to four weeks" then maybe "nearly 2 weeks" isn't actually long enough to wait yet?
  11. That explains that then.

  13. Cool, ta. Might have to get some and cut them down.
  14. I looked at the "ball hangers" (fnarr) but as you can probably, tell my racking is behind a door and I'm not convinced they'll let me open the door properly. Any chance you can measure yours from the grid to the tip (not the rail length, just how far it sticks out)?
  15. Scratch that, it applied a £4 coupon at checkout!
  16. Link? The best prices I'm seeing is about £40 for just the handset.
  17. There's PLENTY of example of NGRS guns with Warhead motors out there though. Out of the box the NGRS doesn't have any sort of MOSFET so I see no reason why the NGRS should be any different than any other bog standard gun to fit a brushless motor to. Yes, it has an inbuilt speed controller that can cause issue with aftermarket electronic trigger controls. Yes, they make loads of torque. ANY build done wrong will wreck the internals of the gun. Brushed or brushless, it's all the same. Build according to the user requirements and within the capabilities of what you have already in there. It's still just a motor.
  18. Gridwall, but yeah they can hold quite a bit Each panel (there's two there) has four "hooks" that each have four screws in them. Seeing as @gavinkempsell has his all nice and arranged only a single layer deep, the weight will be more spread out too.
  19. It would be worth investing in the USB link for the Aster so you can interrogate it properly. It's possible that it's not been fitted correctly and isn't seeing the cam on the sector gear correctly.
  20. Except that they're absolutely gopping.
  21. If you want to. It's just a motor.
  22. Very much this. A few seasons in they went to Taran Tactical for a bit of training/PR and then all started using TTI baseplates on their rifle and pistol mags and in the very recent seasons have all started using the TTI STI 2011 (which is the one with the RMR mounted.
