  1. That's not really how self lubricating plastic works.
  2. Hey, it's a perfectly adequate size.
  3. Yes and no. Some companies do this, most just release a shit product and when the customers complain they shrug their shoulders and say "meh, got your money now, don't care".
  4. TLD;DR They were shit, people complained, it got changed.
  5. I've not heard good things about them but to be fair, I may be working with out of date info. I believe they were improved at some point.
  6. 1 it's basically an M4 so any M4 hop unit should work. 2 EPM1, that's why.
  7. The selector plate just has a more extreme profile cam to drive it back and forth in a SCAR. The gearbox itself is still just V2.
  8. From the vernacular in use I'm going to guess OP is in the US.
  9. Finished my MC51SD build last night!
  10. I used the sticker with the thickest black line lined right up tight to the left side of the metal bit.
  11. FIXED! After consulting the great and wise oracle (Negative Luke), fitted a Guarder selector plate and that's sorted it. So yeah, if anyone else has that issue - Guarder selector plate.
  12. *walks off whistling*
  13. I think it's more of an issue with footfall in bricks and mortar stores, people generally having less expendable income etc. Plus I'm sure in the case of A2 at least, business rates are probably horrific being in Reading!
  14. Depends how much you want to spend but these https://www.tactical-kit.co.uk/spiritus-systems-spud-pouch-48453-p.asp come in Wolf Grey and will definitely hold two M14 mags. There are of course innumerable copies on AliExpress. The bonus for these of course is that you won't need different pouches to hold M4 type mags.
  15. The selector plate has a black plastic overhang and is driven by a weird cam so there's every possibility of mechanical slop I guess.. Possible. I'll have a look in the Titan menus to see if there's a difference. There's a lot of mention around G26 fire selectors in the V3 manual but nothing for G3 in the V2.
  16. It's black plastic with a metal contact plate. I've got the stickers on it anyway so shouldn't be an issue. That's what I'm staring to think. Not exactly a precision instrument after all!
  17. I have a JG G3 in the works at the minute, I've fitted and Aster SX V2 to it and it's doing a weird thing on the fire selector. I'm sure it's related to the sticker positioning on the selector plate but here it is: Safe to Semi OK, Semi to Auto, OK, Auto to Semi - stays in Auto, Auto to safe flicks briefly through Semi and straight to safe. It's almost like the physical position for Semi shifts slightly in the reverse direction if that makes sense? Any ideas? (other than put in a Perun)
  18. 59cm? Must be nice. My swede is 62cm around, just over the biggest size adjustment of most airsoft helmets.
  19. I'm having a clearout over the next week or so, pretty sure I have an old TM plastic receiver. I'll let you know!
  20. At a guess, because they don't come in grey.
  21. Gridwall gang! Yes, it's a mess. No I don't care. That's not even all of them!
  22. I have the FMA Wendy bump helmet and it's great. Mostly because I have a massive head and it's about the only one that fits properly. The shell IS quite flexible so don't assume that you won't feel it if you bang your head but at least you won't need stitches!
  23. I picked up a GKMS just before Christmas and I would say it's the complete opposite. It's a weighty beast for sure!
  24. This site runs on a prebuilt template in Invision Community, most likely chosen for it's feature set and ease of use. The Admins here aren't "developers" so I doubt that they're that bothered about tinkering with the out of the box functionality.
  25. It appears that the Malware Bites browser plug in was making this site slow. It's much better with it off now. Still slow on the main menu screens but better once you get past that.
