Try sharing 5 toilets in one room with 180 blokes, then make those toilets occasionally 'backfire' and spray sh*t everywhere.

  5. So yeah, I'm getting a new PC next month. I've barely dipped my toes into PC gaming so far- my laptop can only run games which came out before 2006- and I was wondering which PC games are good? Kinda looking for something which will blend in with my other favourites, as well as trying some new games to get into. At the moment, I'm a fan of shooters (tactical, third person, stealth shooters, FPS games), games which fall into the "Action Adventure" category- such as the Arkham & Assassin's Creed games. I also enjoy some survival horror games (NOT THE EVIL WITHIN, fucking hated that!)- like Resident Evil 4 and Alien Isolation. REALLY want some new things to get into though. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
  6. Forgot just how intense CQB can be. On the plus side, that was my last game before my 18th. Only 10 more days until I buy the UMP :D

      yeah, what can they do?

I dont think that law will hold up very well. Besides, what are they going to do if they catch people using blasters? Ban them or kick them off for using a reputable brand/..

  9. Used to have a routine of listening to this every morning during my PT on a weekend/week long op when I was in the CCF. It always pumped me up for the rest of the day. Oddly enough, I still do it with the OTC weekends. Old habits die hard, I guess! Don't Judge

  11. That is false. You can't HK SLAP it because the battery goes underneath the upper, underneath the bolt.
  12. My Cyma MP5K came with a 9.6v. Works perfectly fine.
  13. I've just finished reading a BRILLIANT crime novel called 'The Long Halloween' by Jeph Loeb & Tim Sale. Here's my thoughts on it. Really compelling book about a police detective in a huge city, whose department is massively corrupt. The book, which is set over a year in the detective's life at some point in the early/mid 90s, struggles to come to terms with the idea that some of his most trustworthy allies are in fact working on their own to try and make the most money by accepting bribes from the largest crime families in the city. All the while, the detective and the local district attorney have to deal with a killer who is known as "Holiday", because he only kills on public holidays (such as Christmas, Halloween, Valentines' Day). Oddly enough though, "Holiday's" victims are all members or family of "The Mob". This aspect of the book is really creatively told, with many sharp plot twists, frequently about "Holiday's" TRUE identity. None of these theories are correct however. Even after the crime is "solved", the novel goes on to throw the reader with a really shocking reveal at the very end of the book which I for one was not expecting. A few guys that I know to have also read it said that they saw the twist a mile off, but I honestly cannot see how. The writers managed to hide everything too damn well. There is one element which I didn't really care much for. There was a really bland romance side-story between some rich guy and an escort that he loved. This side-story wasn't inherently bad, but it seriously detracted from the main crime story being told. That said, the romance becomes pretty crucial towards the middle of the story- when the rich guy is suspected of being the killer. One of the best chapters, in my opinion, concerns the rich guy trying to defend himself in court against the team of detectives and the DA. It makes for a VERY tense read, because you really have no idea what the outcome is going to be. I actually found myself giving a sh.it about what happened to the rich guy- even if he was a relatively boring, one dimensional character up until that point. What would have made him a bit more interesting earlier in the novel would have been to give him a wife or something that he could have been cheating on with the escort. It would have really changed the reader's views on the character of the rich guy. The writing team manage to add more twists into this than M. Night Shyamalan's entire filmography. And most, if not all of them, make sense in the given situation. Then again, it is technically a crime "drama" so I do expect twists. Just not quite as many as there were here. And I loved every second of it. In the end, I have to rate this a solid 9/10! Definitely Loeb & Sale's best work in the crime genre to date. Would recommend this to pretty much anyone
  14. So, I was talking to someone who is in the know (read as: runs a UKARA approved airsoft store) at my local skirmish site the other week, and they informed me of this disturbing fact: JUSTBBGUNS IS NOT EXCLUSIVELY RUN BY MARK "JAMBWOW" WATTS It is in fact run by someone named Harpreet Singh Bhatia. According to this contact (not revealing his name), the owner has opened & run many businesses in the UK. Among these companies include: Trimex UK Ltd (sells RC cars, BB GUNS and lots more general shit) , Trimex Food & Wine ltd & JUSTBBGUNS. Trimex UK are "The official distributor for all BULLDOG products". You thought that I could ignore BULLDOG? Really makes sense why JAMBWOW is always trying to ram Bulldog down your throat, through your wallet and into your gun now, doesn't it! YOU WANT MY SOURCES? I'LL GIVE YOU MY SOURCES! HOW'S THIS?
  15. *related to previous status* APPARENTLY JUSTBBGUNS & CHEAPBBUGUNS ARE THE BEST SITES TO BUY FROM! Source: Airsoft Stores in the UK -

  16. played my first CQB a few months back, and I think that I am now what can be considered as a CQB Junkie. I LOVE IT! So much more fast paced than woodland, and when you use an MP5K & a shotgun your pretty much unstoppable!

I would agree that posts like this would not be welcome in places such as 'general discussion' etc (and also that we do need to look at the quality of those sections as it does appear to be on the decline), however statuses are welcome to be either on or off-topic. If you believe something contravenes the rules or diminishes the quality of the forums, please report it to a moderator instead of having a go at each other in the comments etc.

  20. He says that it's supposed to be a "French Liberation Front" loadout- he actually sold the Lee for £1.5k earlier this month to a collector who is now using it as a wall mount. He now uses an MP40 in order to more realisticly portray the FFI
