Yesterday night, after a conversation with Fire Team DERP on MyFaceTubes, I have come to the conclusion that modern pistols are in fact... BULLPUPS! This all came after we had been teasing our resident bullpup hater "Glasgow". A few guys on the team (myself included) are looking at buying/ are definitely buying bullpup rifles, but Mr. Glasgow absolutely hates the configuration. After another team mate (I'll call him "Dunfermline") said that "I know you have one, we all secretly have a bullpup " Glasgow sends us a picture of his GHK G5, and his M1911. Then it suddenly clicked! The L85 has a mag which loads behind the trigger. So does the M1911. Most of the action/important features like the fire selector are behind the trigger on the FAMAS. Same as on the M1911. Holy sh*t... this can only mean... but that means.... WE HAVE BEEN LIED TO! In case this evidence isn't enough, here's a quick comparison between a bullpup (in this case an L85A2) and a standard pistol (shown as an USP 45) "BUT DX!" I hear you shout. "How can a pistol be classed as a bullpup when all pistols load from that area?" Well, strange person who just shouted at a website for some reason, that is a good point. You got me there. Nobody has ever made a pistol which loads from in front of the trigger. Except for the MAUSER C96 and pretty much EVERY revolver ever made SO THERE YOU HAVE IT! UNDENIABLE proof that most pistols are bullpups! TAKE THAT SCIENCE! This also proves that SMGs such as the UZI, MAC-10, MP7/9 are ALSO bullpups! (thanks for pointing that out Dundee!) *The small as f*ck print: everything in this article is not not not not not not not not not not not not not meant to be taken seriously. If you can work that many negatives out, then you deserve to know that much. All people portrayed in this article are purely fictitious (except for those who arent). Excellent. Thanks for the help guys! I think that I'll pick up one of the issue slings, because I personally like the way that they work. That said, next skirm that I'm at, I'll try one out using a 2 point, which I haven't done yet. (not bought the rifle yet, teammate has one and I'm looking at picking one up in December)

My plan: > turn 18 (December 4th 2014) > get UKARA registered (December 2014/January 2015) > buy ICS L85A2 (January 2015) > buy mid caps and mag pouches (January 2015) > live out a happy life, safe in the knowledge that I own an L85A2

I agree England / the UK is pretty sh*t.
Especially when we used to be big manufacturers and everything yet now there seems to be hardly any proper business or trade because we are so reliant on importing a load of stuff. I'm still sort of proud to be English and proud to be from Yorkshire too but I just hate how the country has gone down hill really, and the politics / more right wing Labour etc. I can say the Scandinavian countries are probably the best but as you say nowhere's p... -

I've heard pretty bad things about Wolf and have never ordered from them as a result. This could make the video a bit more interesting if I only order from places that I haven't ordered from before (other than JBBG which I have ordered from once when I was just starting out). As such, I can remove Airsoft World (and probably LWA as well) because shipping times will be a lot quicker than the rest of the sites due to their warehouses and shops being within 30 minutes drive of my home address (and AW being my "go-to" shop as it's less than 15 minutes walk from my house). Think that Wolf would be quite a good idea, alongside ZeroOne (because they are also quite controversial as well apparently) and PAS would be a good idea because I have absolutely no idea what to expect. So, Wolf, Z1, PAS and JBBG it is (for now, because I dunno if they'll have 120rd M4 mids in stock at the time of doing the experiment. I'll probably do this sometime late December/early January because I will be at my home address (IE not uni accommodation) and will hopefully have a new gun which can take M4 mags during that time. Thanks for helping Zak! If anyone else wants to suggest places to buy, I'm still open to suggestions (if you are leaving an idea, please make sure that it isn't a site with BB GUNS in the name, as I think that 1 BB site is bad enough...) -
Oh sh*t! JustBBGuns is selling the ICS L85A2 for the lowest price in the UK. I might actually HAVE to order from them...

With regards to the retailers that JustBBGuns will be compared to, I was definitely going to order from ZeroOne and Airsoft World. was also considering RedWolf UK or Land Warrior (as I think that 4 retailers will be enough to make the comparison valid) If you cant think of any other "big" UK based airsoft retailers, please let me know -

Great idea, although that could be quite difficult to record. in High Quality. Although, the whole pretending to be a noob thing would work out quite well. Do that across all of the sites that I'm ordering from, and see how (if at all) helpful they are for new players.
