    I don't film indoors. Really don't want to break my GoPro- I know that it's unlikely, but you can never be too careful. I'll be using it as my main skirmish weapon from now on, and I'm going back to The Fort again in January, so I can get some stuff done on there.

    Only one mag because it only came with one, and I couldn't be arsed/have the cash to buy another one. ESPECIALLY seeing as they are expensive as all fuck (for an AEG mag) Which game? From the Fortress?

    Meant to post these earlier in the week,. (same post as in the "what have you just bought" thread) Here's a few pics of my new G&G UMG- my first RIF- which I took on 7/12/14 at The Fortress in Fife The G&G UMG, with my VIPER quick release single point sling fitted. I was running it with a WE 7.2v LiPo and the G&G 530 round High Cap magazine. ROF was between 19-23 RPS (depending on battery charge). Mine chronoed at 300FPS (with an 8.4v NiMH) and 320FPS (the 7.4v LiPo) out of the box. I haven't got around to fitting the included side rails yet (mainly because I picked up the gun on that game day and didn't have time to) __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Me holding it before a game started. Didn't have my usual CQB gear on (a black hoodie with Mil-Tec red cam trousers). Didn't have an assault vest on either because I only had the one mag, and pyro can easily be kept in my trouser pockets

    I can vouch for that! The UMG is definitely the best "out of the box" gun that I've used in CQB to date (IE- set the hop, clean the barrel and it will accurately hit at about 40m without any upgrades.)

      I can vouch for these, they are TM compatable, however you may need to do some filling to get some bits to fit, but that's purely to do with QC as opposed to design. Darren @ ASPUK is a good bloke to check with :)

    For that price, you can buy whatever you want! Brands which are worth looking at are G&G, ICS, WE Airsoft, Tokyo Marui, GHK (if you want a GBBR), ASG (if you want the Scorpion EVO), Real Sword (if you want a REALLY good looking gun), Vega Force Company (VFC)- expensive guns, but especially good if you want a licensed H&K gun.

    Great game at The Fortress today. Some IDIOT told the lead marshal that it was my birthday earlier in the week. As a result, my arse is in too much pain! And the G&G UMG is definitely my favourite gun

      Russe, pretty much. I was a VIP, dressed in something that looks like the meth cooking suits in breaking bad. I had a team of a few people who had to get me from one corner of the CQB site to the other.

      And I could only take the hit if I got shot in the ass, or in the crotch.

      But Jai (the lead Marshal) decided that team hits didn't count, so I ended up getting shot up the ass so many times by my own team.

      TL:DR- infected game where I could only take hits if I was shot in the butt or in the crotch

    Same goes with H&K guns (like the UMP, MP5 and the G36). Anywhere claiming to sell "full metal" MP5s mean that the upper is metal and the lower polymer. Same goes with UMPs (but not even their UPPER RECEIVERS are metal on the real steel).

    This is definitely THE n00biest post that I've ever made. Anyway... I've noticed that my batteries have been performing A LOT worse than I remember them. Currently: I plug them in for about 2.5/3 hours, then unplug them & that usually lasts me all day (about 10 games). Recently my batteries have only been lasting me most of the gameday (usually until about the 8th or 9th game). Could this be because my MP5K is about two years old now, or am I charging my batteries incorrectly? *inb4 "You don't have a smart/pro charger???". I know. I'm buying one soon!*
