Bought myself a black WE G17 on Saturday. No pictures yet, because my parents are holding it hostage until Christmas day. Will have photos up either tomorrow, or on Boxing day. -

That part that I've put into bold in your message is 100% correct. Spoke to one of my mates who works in Airsoft World this morning and they confirmed that they do not stock them "pre-two toned" due to the limited edition nature of the products.

Not going to lie, I have no idea why. The guys may have turned down a two-toning request due to the proximity to Christmas.

-You can ask in store, however it is a lot less hassle on their part for them to get you to do it online. -The RIF is in stock online. And the Snake tones in stock were about to be shipped out to people, according to one of my mates who works there. EDIT: This is their FB post: A slither of Snake-Tone G&G 30th Anniversary rifles on their way to customers today! #airsoft @airsoftworldltd #airsoftrifle Those were custom jobs, not pre-painted ones for sale to people who haven't specifically ordered them in that way.

I'll speak to the guys in store, but that does seem a bit weird to hear that from them. Hang on, was it a non-two tone gun in store? Because then you have to buy online with them- and you'll have to wait a bit longer for them to paint up the gun.

of course...all those extra views he gets pushes his stats up and make him more likely to be seen thanks to YT recommendations. So yeah, he's probably laughing all the way to the bank and you muppets taking the piss. I fail (once again) to see why he gets so much free publicity from people that claim to hate him so much.

I can totally see where Russe11 is coming from, but they are REALLY impractical as a first gun. The aforementioned lack of semi auto could be problematic if you are inexperienced in gun tech work such as fitting a MOSFET- which was a daunting experience for me when I fit mine. The post that I have linked in my signature will be pretty helpful to you if you are starting out. From my POV, the G&G is definitely the best gun if your starting out- a mistake that I made when I was getting started- due to the top notch internals and the low cost. Now that g&g do the metal ones, they are doubly worth getting.

CM16 is good, However, if you want a metal gun, I'd get the NEW Combat Machine but with the full METAL body- FOR THE SAME PRICE AS THE POLYMER ONE. My younger brother has one, and they are absolutely astonishing out of the box. Definitely worth the money (of which it doesn't cost much). They do either a short or a long version. The long one is (in my humble opinion) much better as it has the static front sight post as opposed to the pretty bad "flip up" one on the stubby version- which I find really unpleasant to use. I mean, a mid cap retails at about £20-25. High caps are about £25-30 (both depending on where you shop).PLUS mids are only 50Rd mags Might buy a few mids...
