I can't go with stock guns anymore. I have to always tune everything to my liking,especially shimming. Most stock shimjobs I see are pretty bad,no OEM seems to shim bevel-pinion(I know why,it's a very trial and error process so I can sort of excuse that) On most stock guns. I find most parts to be pretty decent quality. Only thing I can name that I don't like are VFC pistons and hop up units,Marui sector gears(The rest of the gearset is surprisingly pretty decent,mesh well with most brands I've found) and ACM air seal parts and hop up units. Love me some ACM motors however,especially the stupid 22+ TPA neo torque monsters some are starting to come with,which is a mixed bag because fuck consistency amirite I,however being the broke teenage git I am,always try to DIY something. Hop up unit cast using molds made out of dogshit? 1 euro 50 worth of brass shim stock,sorted hey. I finally have access to a milling machine at school so my hop unit shims I make don't look like they are cut by micheal J fox while wanking. You gotta love the chinese guns though,pretty good at churning out mahoosive amounts of guns as cheaply as possible.. They make up for piss poor hop up units with high FPS,they make up for bad air seals with Massive spring powers,they make up for an overly stressed build with really strong gears and pistons,they make for the loss of money on better materials by casting them roughly,they make up for heavy loads with massive torque motors. Now if only they hired QC departments and stop casting their pot metal parts using molds made out of chicken skin,they'd be well grand.

Madbulls are friggin dodgy. Chrono'd my gun at the local shop and it kept spitting out 234.9FPS over and over again. Took it to bellurgan park today and got a solid 278-280 and then it started spitting out 240 again. Meanwhile with a mate's Xcortech X3200 it was giving me a consistant 290FPS. Xcortechs seem to give the most accurate readings. Avoid madbull ones.

Tac,this video shows how to tap for HPA,could be helpful in the future,I'd bookmark it. Pretty easy really,You can use a standard drill,some steady hands and a vice instead of a lathe. If you can tap two mags and have a quick disconnect line you can be sorted for reloads. Instead of the fancy threading tool Dobey has you can use the cheap ones from Lidl or aldi

Most people tap the mags for HPA to get the best performance(Like a BroLarstar) Gas is too inconsistent for a snoiper rifle but high pressure air is perfect.

Where's your bolt handle Epic choice for a gun though! First off,TAP THE MAGAZINES FOR HIGH PRESSURE AIR. KJW M700s ARE BEASTS ON HIGH PRESSURE AIR. You will also have no cooldown,and more consistent performance. You can get air tanks refilled at Scuba diving shops or paintball shops/sites. Reloading may be a pain but you can get quick detach connectors and swap mags,make sure to have long mags for it. It might be a bit expensive but worth it. If you are not comfortable drilling the mags take them to a machinist. Google about a bit on how to do it,you can get the air supply from paintball shops.

Some Paracord engineering and bodge rigging. First off some simple bits like securing the holster,it's fairly soft and this stops it flopping about when the Pot Metal Pulverizer© (My M9) is seated inside. Next is my bodge pouch. Made a simple retention system,Elastic bands,some foam to space it out,wood in the bottom to help it keep shape and a piece of plastic inside to also help keep shape. I can move about the amount of bands so I can fit what I need.I Can fit about 3 AK mags with a bit a squeeze and minimum retention,I can also fit 3 GHK G5 mags well enough. I've had it for the past two games I've been too and it works well.Haven't lost a thing from it,Especially useful when I forget to close the pouch. I usually jam in my dead rag and bandage too further front. Thinking of cutting it up a bit to have one retained section and one loose section for misc objects. Pics came out blurry because my camera's focus is set by using the touchscreen which is being a penis atm.

Nope,FPS is affected by Air seal in the cylinder,hop air seal and spring. Drive train does not affect power. What parts did you end up going for?

Try heating the O Ring near the filling valve with a heat gun or a hair dryer. It's often leaky. Did it on my M9 mags and not having leaks for the past half year I've had them.

High torque motor-like an SHS HT and 13:1 gears are a good balance. To get good trigger response,you will have to have good shimming,so no screechy bollocks in the gun,most important is shimming the bevel gear to the pinion,this is the biggest source of screech and the biggest PITA to shim. Angle of engagement in the piston is also crucial. To get good response,you will have to do mods for a smooth running gun. Good quality wiring & deans connectors will help,you want the current to travel as quickly and efficiently as possible. To protect the trigger contacts I recommend a MOSFET, I used an ASG one in my AK build and it was pretty nice. Refer to the threads and youtube channels I've linked in your status post,like AirsoftTutorials. Great guides on shimming and AOE correction.
