I really like the angle of the gun here,even though the rest of the photo staging looks shit. And This One I really like,the lighting came out well enough and it looks nice with the floorboards.

      Nah,it's a China made plastic one made for airsoft,I tried it on and liked it. Thought it would be handy since i found out I really like Urban sniping but Old irish buildings have tiny doorways and windows so I found myself banging my head off everything.

    E&L's AKs look pretty nice,I can guess some hints that they are made in Realsword's old plant but most evidence leads to Norinco. Might pick one up if they reach Ireland,pricing is just a little bit less than LCT, and it sounds like a bargain.

      Yeah I was surprised when I saw they were about 200 quid. I was thinking RS prices! Redwolf say they've got good internals too but we'll have to see until there are more reviews of them.

      Those are pre order prices,expect a hike up. Hopefully production model quality will be as good as pre-production, them dirty Chinese commies always have something up their sleeve. As long as it's under 270€(Price of a LCT AK105) I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

    Held a G&G GKM At AirsoftEire today. Not too impressed. Although It's based on the LCT AKM body kit,it doesn't feel near as solid. The Top cover feels like it's off another gun,The tolerances on it are way off and it rattles about like mad. I'd expect ACM guns to have this,not a Top Tech FFS. Clean up your act,G&G!

      top cover on my cymas rattle a bit.. anyone got experience with real ones? I know for example sometimes gasblocks can be a bit loose and folding stocks have slight wobble.

      I've fired a real one a couple of times, both had slightly rattly top covers, nothing major, I wouldn't call it wobbly but if shaken or moved you could hear it. These were relatively new however but had seen quite a bit of use

      Mine rattles quite a lot, there's probably a good 2mm of play in it from side to side.

       

      But I just took it as being a staple part of the "AK" vibe.

    Skrim day was fantastic,but the amount of wobble on my rig is annoying. Time to bring out the hammer and hole punch..

      Still using ALICE gear UTJ? Wobble is the one thing I hate about it but I like it too much to get rid of it. I attached all my pouches with paracord through the holes on the belt and wear the belt a bit tighter than it needs to be, helps alot.

    I think it may have been my particular sensitivity to fliers,but I agree split rubber nubs are a great idea,it's done wonders on my VSR,I've jammed a W hold into my M9 and have ordered more off Xfire to sell 'em on or to have them if i ever get any future guns. CYMA have done well by taking that route,gives them a real edge over other guns,only ACM company i know of who don't make tragically awful hops. Not like the wanktastic JG or other ACM hops. Jesus,It looks like a child with parkinsons was working the casting thingy mabob when I opened up a G36. It's a miracle that thing fired in a vaguely straight line. Although I'm not a fan of AEGs(Realized that I'm not tragically terrible at messing with GBBs!),CYMA really make nice bang for buck stuff. I think all the good ones are made by ONE guy(Let's call him Lee or something) who gives a sh*t,but who's ideas get shot down all the time to save $$$ and crank out more guns but his idea to have Split nubs got through,bringing massive profits to the company but they all got sucked up by the Mafioso running the outfit,who also took the credit for the split nub idea. Poor Lee, he must sacrifice his food money and family time to produce quality guns('cos he's passionate about that shite) and dreams of actually owning an airsoft gun one day,and moving CYMA to Hong Kong so the workers will not have to fear the police force constantly hounding them and taking their wages as bribes.     The CYMA M14 from what I've seen are notorious for the charging handles breaking and receiver snapping. Held one and the build quality didn't inspire confidence,cheap feeling stock and the pot metal felt nasty,though I'd expect the wood version to be stronger. Nice accuracy and performance,except for the gearbox which sounded to be screaming in pain. Hop did seem a bit inconsistent too,with too much fliers for my taste. Nice bang for buck gun though,but hardly hold a candle to the G&G TM and G&P m14s. Far better than the wanky JG M14,christ that thing is awful.

    Well,you can buy a used/broken TM G3 on yahoo auctions japan and get [email protected] to ship it for you,then chop it up and jam it on your MP5. You can also try find a used JG G3 and chop it up,but the plastic quality on those is sort of dreadful. The most expensive option is probably buying a Classic Army G3 and chopping it up,but those are expensive and made of fragile monkey metal.

    Ahhh,the Maru *CRRRRRRRRRRRRRKK CRKKKKKKKKKK* G *CRRRRRRREEEEEEee*. Nice piece of *CREEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAA*ame it's so *CRREEEAAAAAAAAAAAA* creaky and the charging handle isn't too strong so HK slaps ha *CRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEK* minimum. Seriously though, some company should get up off their arse and make a G3, not utilizing 20 year old standards and pot metal. And make it full steel. For maximum HK shlaps. And make a GBB one too. Or TM should make a recoil shock G3. I'd trust them to not make the cocking handle pot metal.

    Ian,asking JG may be a problem but I found their Shadow company with the google which you can contact. Most airsoft manufacturers in China are illegal except a few who do OEM work for Hong Kong or Japanese companies. JG have several factories around the place. Only one is legal,and that's the government owned A&K factory which does 'OEM' work for a Japanese toy company. For JG,there is JG Works Hong Kong who take the various JGs around the place and essentially brand then and distribute them. Here's their webby,in fact,you might be able to contact them.http://www.toysgun.cn/jj.asp You'd honestly have better luck asking Marui since JG cloned the thing,or Xfire or Echigoya or some Japanese gunsmith.

    RealSword seemed to have finally resumed production,Type 56s and Dragunovs have restocked at most places that carry them. No Type 97s though.
