    Went to my first uni game alst night, which was a night game, at a site I've never been to before and it was terrifying. You could barely see people 5 meters in front of you, let alone if they were enemy or not. It also proves impossible to aim when using black sights to aim into more black...

      I know... Tac, as with my real Eotech, I have a 6mm piece of plexiglass I mount in front of important sights. Zak, I have used NV before, and the one I have access to I can use as a sight, yet keep it low enough as is to not blind me too much :)

    If you really want to change the FPS, buy a gun with a quick change spring system. But personally, I think you're overcomplicating it. Don't dive straight into the deep end and buy a relatively simple and easy to use gun (check out Ian Gere's beginner guide). All FPS really does is change the time it takes to hit the target. Accuracy and range is more affected by the barrel size and the hop-up. 300 FPS is a good start, you don't really need any more as the benefits will be negligible and will allow to shoot people without hurting them as much

    The pain is more down to the Joule (energy) which is travelling behind the BB and where you get hit. The heavier the BB is and the higher it's FPS. The more kinetic energy it will have. Also, getting shot somewhere sensitive like fingers or your gonads will hurt a lot more than getting shot in the chest.

    I wear more or less the exact same thing throughout the cold months. Although I do carry my Flecktarn parka for those sitting around games and the safe zone so I don't stand there freezing my arse off whilst listening to the safety brief. However, thanks to global warming; I might apply the sun cream and go out in my shorts

    Got shot on the nose today. Hurt like bloody hell for some reason and later found it lodged up my nose... I'll think I'll go back to wearing a face mask

      Experience - getting hit in nose with a bb for not wearing a mask.

      Wisdom - hearing stories of others getting hit in the nose, and making sure to wear your mask.

      I got shot in the nose where there's a gap between my goggles and mask. Had all blood running down my face, next week get shot in the same spot lol.

    Bought a ZCI High Torque motor from AK2M4 to go in my SR25 as my old motor decided that it didn't want to turn the gears. Anyhow, now my SR25 works again and hopefully I can take it out skirmishing this Sunday. (Might be the last time before I go to uni )

    Pointless vehicle. Can't see them being used in game by many as they have no way of measuring where they will land and using it as a direct fire vehicle will result in their immediate demise.

    I've had my WE G18C for almost 2 years now and it's great. Bear in mind that having the gun on full auto will spray your entire mag in just about every direction possible. It will also give you a nasty cold burn if you don't wear gloves. I've also heard stories of people using full auto end up breaking parts inside the gun. Maybe they got lemons, who knows? I haven't had any problems so far, but I've never gone full auto for more than a quick burst.

    I saw an enemy on the other side of a door, we couldn't shoot each other without being out, so I threw a grenade into the corner of a door frame, hoping it would bounce and land where he was standing. But no, it bounced back towards me and I stood there dumbfounded whilst everyone laughed at me. Happy times

    I got some 30mm thick Perspex discs to cover my scope lens instead of the other space wasting lens cover I had. (thanks proffink) I've also bought some shims, a g&g green and some sorbo pads for my sr25. Pulled it apart today and noticed my sr25 already had sorbo padding in it. AoE has already been done which is a bonus. While my gearbox is open, I'm wondering whether or not I should hard wire the mosfet in?

    Been to the W&P show this weekend. Treated myself to a few goodies. - Camo face paint - Viper gloves (greener irl) - 10 pack of mini clips (bought them as they were like a pound) - Flecktarn goretex jacket - and a soviet AK bayonet

    Not totally fussed about it, but I've changed it to 12 o/clock. Cheers CKinnerly The front site is there because I was hoping to have the iron sights on reserves, but I had to remove the rear sight so I could place that flip up protective lens and the front sight was more flush, so I left that one on instead. I like that idea, I'll have a look and see what I can find. Then I can free up room on the top and put my flip up iron sights back on

    Got all the externals for my sr25 now, time to head into the gearbox and do the shims, AoE and install a sorbo pad. Not sure if I should hard wire the mosfet in or not

      Airlab for the good ones, Pro Airsoft Supplies for the reasonable ones, ebay for a sheet of it. If you buy from ebay make sure you get 70D sorbothane.
