Knee jerk legislation, as Ian said, is pretty much almost always bad. But I can understand why they'd want to do it, although I would like to see some thought and research behind a law before it is bought in. I didn't sign this particular petition though because they won't listen to it regardless. A bit like all the official petitions online. They'll just get blocked and ignored, not to mention that change doesn't even have any reason to be listened to. To change the way we are used to living is allowing the terrorists win. I also wouldn't say that being more like America is a good thing. They've had the worst gun crime in the developed world and I'd rather not be more like America if it meant that I feared going to school everyday and getting shot by a maniac because his background wasn't checked and could buy a gun at his local supermarket. Not only that, there is quite clearly a race problem in America and gays were only allowed to get married earlier this year.

Ouch. Good to see he's ok. I've seen something similar on YouTube of a BB grazing the surface of the eye and he went temporarily blind because of the shock. Scary thing I always think about the risk involved. For example, I only wear my face mask in cqb when I'm at most risk of losing my teeth walking round a corner. But I always wear full seal, unless I'm DMR/sniping because once again, I feel that the risk is low enough for me to get away not wearing full seal. I'd never choose looking "operator" over being safe any day of the week, but I do prefer wearing glasses and not full seal as it feels more comfy to me.

It's still possible. I had a max bid and then someone put in a much higher max bid right at the very end. It's more risky that way, but it's possible

One of my absolute hates on eBay. That's why I usually only go for the buy now stuff on there. Luckily they put up another set of patches so I'm going to up my max bid and try again

Got myself an iron on Russian flag smiley patch face from Etsy.com, £0.68 Also got a USSR badge for my ushanka from eBay, £3.49 Almost managed to get a 45th VDV patch as well, but I was sniped towards the end. It ended up going for £17

Just remember, at Okto 8, you don't need to cook in a hurry or keep food to a bare minimum. I made some sausage pasta for the evenings and had some beans and sausage in the morning. Keeps the morale up compared to eating MREs

Hey AngelGrinder, I'm from Stevenage as well (although I'm currently at Portsmouth uni) If you want some local woodland sites, there's Viking Airsoft which is in Welwyn and there is also Tech Brigade (Don't know precisely where it is). In terms of CQB sites, there is one in Kings Langley (about 20 mins away) called "The School".

The gun has a 14mm CCW thread on the end of the barrel. So look for a silencer that fits that size. It's the standard size, so there should be loads to choose from out there

Looks good. Are you gonna go for a Russian loadout at all? Have you tested it's stock FPS at all

I've heard good things about stitchmeup, don't know whether you have tried them or not. PVC patches I imagine would be quite expensive as you need to create a mould for them.

I'm pretty sure you'd have to declare it. I mean you can't technically import an RIF without a defence and I'd gp through goods to declare as it's better safe than sorry. If you don't need to declare it, then they'll let you through anyway
