Go for 120 round mags. I run a NGRS SCAR H, (90 rounds mags) which I have thought about switching the magazines to 30 rounds. But….. Your in a woodland, terrain gets in the way of “that shot” Rentals with hi cap mags spraying around! Even with six mags only with 90 rounds, I very infrequently go though three mags. You will come across a game when you will run 30 rounds and think, “If only I had more bb’s in that mag, would of got that person/objective”. Each to their own.

Yeah but much better imo.

I did have multicam, then made the move to multicam tropic. Works a treat and is a little different.

Nice! You can “hit” someone just with the shell casing. Great stuff!

Every time I see a post about DMR’s, I will keep on going about about the CYMA CM098 (SR25). @Rogerborg is right, you have to build one , which I did with mine and love it! Have a look for a look you have in mind as you also need to think about your load out look. Speak to other airsofters as we all have past gun ownership histories - the good and bad. As for pistols as a side arm, I now run an HK45 as it is reliable and powerful, has to me out of many tricky situations. Also I like the look of it. Go with what you like and take it from there.

This is what I love about airsoft. We each have our ideal setups, no matter what it takes, you will achieve it. If you makes you happy and you get that goal, then that is great! When others see what you have done and appreciate it, then that’s a bonus. I got into night games last year, well not going to think about the cost of the gear (NVG’s) but it ticks one of the things that I always wanted to do and have. Also the airsoft community tends to encourage you, which I find is positive when you think about all the crap going on in the world. So bravo to you and keep it coming!

Cut the connectors, then extend the wiring enough so you can make full use of your stock.

Have you thought of a modular plate carrier, so you can change the pouches if you change RIFS. I run a JPC structural plate carrier, which I have different front panels for what I am using. Just one way to get more of your carrier and also future proofs you.

I posted on this page a while back regarding my head set up. I have made some changes; Wanted a different helmet (does not match my camo, but this night gaming!) Better NVG mounting system Changed the helmet straps, much better load bearing Counter balance weights This is much more sturdy than before, can’t wait to try it out soon.

I let the wear happen, but will occasionally do some external cleaning if and when it is needed. Got to look good for photos!

Agreed. I had a WE glock for a couple of years. Sold it as I anted something different and something much more reliable.

Excellent work!

Might be worth putting an ad up in the wanted section, as someone miight have a spare killflash for that scope. Check Aliexpress for something like that or eBay; https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/292175653594

Who is running any hi-tech devices while LARPing?
Sneaky replied to truckinthumper's topic in General Discussion
Using tech in these type of games is great, as long as everyone is on the same page. I used my night vision for the first time at Gunman Eversley and it was great. Had to make lots of adjustments, helmet and strap changes, so much better now. It was telling when players would flash their lights at me to cause a blinding effect - they failed to realise that the night vision reduced the intensity ,then they got shot…haha! -

Might have to make some adjustments for it to fit. Good luck with it.

You need to know what you are doing. More importantly is to keep the TM magic in your NGRS! Be like a wizard and keep that magic alive!

You will need a 250mm cross headed screw driver. Remove the rear stock plate. Turn the gun downwards so you can see into the stock. There will be a black screw within the stock (worth replacing as it is a cheap soft metal - I have replaced mine with a steel screw), towards the rear of the receiver. Remove it and the stock will come off. After that you can undo the spring change block which contains a metal spring guide with bearings. I can provide a video on this if needed. Hope this helps.

I have had a selection of different SR25’s and the CYMA one is the best I have had. Silly the suppressor does not come with foam, but that is easily rectified. I did a whole load of changes, but stuck with the same gear set. Having the spring change system is great to have. Mine is very quite, but would like to know how much changing the gears will have an effect on sound. Any gearbox if shimmed well can be very quite. Most of the sound is from the cylinder head area. Will you be r hopping it, works wonders.

Does not burst, not enough expansion for that to happen ,try it.

The day before I go airsofting, I put my hydration pouch in the freezer. Works a treat everytime.

That would make it too easy!

can anyone recommend a good DMR with an FPS of 350?
Sneaky replied to xollob's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
Recommend anything - Yes your overall play style. Once you work that out, then ask that question. Will save you time and money….
