  1. Yeah I will give it a try.
  2. I would like to know more too. I have never been, too many people in one place for my liking
  3. Thanks all for your in put. I think I just have to suck it up really!
  4. Yeah I remember my TM M733.....
  5. I started in 2001, when I went a bit nuts with the whole Black hawk down look at that time. It is amazing how technology has improved the guns and gadgets in airsoft. I have definitely calmed down over the years with buying all sorts to start off with just because it was the “thing” at that time. This is apparent seeing new airsofters now. After going through the M4, HK phases, I’m more than happy with my limited gear and load out, which works for me.
  6. I have put serious amount of work into my small, but perfectly formed collection. Love them!
  7. Hi all. To people in the know, is there a significant difference in range and accuracy between .36g and .40g bb. I use Geoff’s bb’s (.40g) for my DMR and was about to order some more and thought of this. Any insight to this would be great.

    R hop

I got my sr25 rhop done by Combat South last year, as I have not got the patience nor time to do it myself. Very happy with the performance.
  9. I get your point, but there is risk with everything. I do not wear a full face mask and I have scars on my face. That is my choice. The real solution for me would be not to play airsoft- that’s not going to happen. As any guardian knows, the emperor protects and provides HIS guiding light.
  10. Ok, I’m happy without that then.
  11. The kick charge look more more user friendly when it comes to getting them ready, which I’m all for.
  12. I agree with everything said above, there are may issues that need to be addressed. For now so far the idiots have not got hold of these, but that is a serious concern I do share with you all. That applies to everything we each enjoy doing. I just like the element that launchers are more practical than they were when I first started airsofting many years back. I'm going for it and if it gets regulated to milsim only, then silsim it is, but I hope that will not happen (more than likely a matter of time due to a couple of chumps). I'm going to enjoy it and it will encourage me to go to other sites and meet others who use them. Me too!
  13. Yeah, I’m not a cave man and I do not have the patience to start a fire! Lol
  14. A few year later glad I bought this for my TM SCAR H. The launcher now awaits tag rounds..fire in the hole! It is not everyone’s cup of tea, but I’m the one carrying it!
  15. Hi all, after witnessing my team mates clear a fort with a tag round at my local site (Red Alert), I am also looking into this. Very few players have them and everyone has been considerate using them. I’m looking at the following; EGLM for my SCAR H 2 x launcher shells Co2 kit The site sells tag rounds. I would like to know what other sites allow these in the UK.
  16. Doh! Silly me, thanks @Speedbird_666. Do the following: Remove the large rear screw that sits top opf the 20mm rail. Remove two small screws that are parallel to each other - Do this on both sides of the reciever. Start to fold the stock and you will see in the central butt plate of the body one long screw to remove. The stock will then come free. Any issues, I can provide photos.
  17. Hi, what make of Scar is it?
  18. Much more detailing needed. Have you taken the gun back to where you bought it? I would take it back and buy elsewhere as it sounds like they are not very helpful.
  19. Both idiots, more so the bloke. Maybe airsoft it’s not for him and should stick to American football…..
  20. Depending on the mosfet, you’d an use any battery you like….but take into consideration your AEG first. I run a 11.1v in my sr25, which my back up is a 7.4v. I have not noticed any difference in performance. But saying that I would not put my 11.1v battery into my TM SCAR, which is upgraded, but runs nicely on a 7.4.
  21. It is sad that there are always a few people who ruin it for the many who love airsoft. Have you reported this to the site marshals? At the end of the day if the site are not on top of these things, incidences like this will unfortunately continue, until something serious happens or the site closes due to lack of return business. I, like many long servicing airsofters on this forum are heart broken, disappointed and angry when we see these and hear about this incidents like this. I guess others on here will comment better than myself.
  22. Great photo, if I may say!
  23. Another cracking day at Red Alert. As @Skullchewer said only one person there was an issue with taking hits. Left my SCAR H at home, so I would have to use the SR25 all day. Got some cracking shots and liked supporting players when needed. With some team work we took out some snipers, which is alway nice. @Skullchewer did you take this photo? The calm before the headshot storm.
  24. Had my best experience using my DMR on Sunday. Having a .50 trigger delay felt like an eternity during gaming play (so will reduce that slightly), but I really liked it. I felt that I made each shot count and therefor a better experience. During the heavy rain, there was only so far I could see my bb before it would disappear, so one of my team mates was acting as a spotter, that was great fun and very immersive. We even took on other snipers, successfully by working this way. I love my DMR and the role I do so much more now - got some Geoff bb’s on the way. Roll on Sunday!
  25. As above 11.1V and a mosfet.
