  1. I have the TM SCAR H, love it! Enjoy!
  2. I would say any TM recoil. It also helps to have the skills, patience, experience and time to upgrade it yourself with care and attention. I did that with mine, happy days and well worth it to "improve its performance". That's just me.
  3. I have a CP fast helmet. As it is two halves for the helmet my head stays cool, due to the central gap for ventilation. Alongside I have guarder c9 eye protection, which I have worn for years and had no issues fogging up with this setup. Even without the helmet, I have never had issues with fogging up eye protection. The selling point of the guarder eye pro is that they had a test video on their website showing a pair being shot with a real shotgun from a meter away (yeah no face, but my eyes would be fine! 😆). The lenses were intact, only had some very fine marks on them.
  4. This was me at High Wycombe last weekend, I’m liking the multicam tropic camouflage mix. Picked up some multicam boots (from tankfest) and now have a SPC in tropic multicam.
  5. Wear what you like, just don’t be disrespectful. I have some patches which are from The Division as I love the game and the old Ghost Recon games.
  6. I would advise that you play a couple of days with your new toy before making any changes to it. Speak to other airsofters to when you play. I assume you have or working on your UKARA?
  7. Airsoft sniping is not what you think it is. Follow the advice from everyone above. Also to add, speak to other airsofters when you do go, we are friendly!
  8. I sometimes only use my Glock for a game or two, but not for a whole day at a woodland site. Adds another aspect to the game using a pistol only.
  9. I too have some Baofeng bf-888 radios, which I have not used much, but after reading up and checking these posts, I think I am learning something!… ..What I learned? Will let you guys know when I work it out!
  10. Brilliant, thanks for the information. 👍
  11. Interesting topic. Any in the know of a good UK site that can explain all this PMR information, as I am looking at buying a better radio for airsoft. I have looked around online for something that explains it all in a simple way.
  12. If you are tight on space at home, then a gun bag would work. If you have enough storage space then a gun case. As depends on your budget and how much you want to protect your gear.
  13. I think whatever you do will cause some sort of stress on the gearbox, just depends how far you want to go with it.
  14. You could try cutting a loop off first, then crono your aeg. If you have any issues, just buy a spring. Springs after a period of time when compressed will settle into a new state, which could potentially work for you.
  15. If you need a stock ring, I have one spare as cannibalised two stocks for my SR25.
  16. For a slight increase of fps, just install a tighter barrel. You are only looking for a slight increase of fps. When I had a fire hawk, I did just that as I was only interested in rps and nothing else. In time the gearbox failed, then I upgraded it before I sold it. The quality of air seals you have will prevent any air leaks, which will have a knock on effect of the fps.
  17. Shows how out dated I am, but if it ain’t broke, I’m not going to fix it.
  18. This charger/discharger has been serving me well over the years. Just make sure you buy a genuine one! I buy my batteries from Vapextech.co.uk.
  19. CYMA is good. What ever you decide to do try and buy something that has a mostly metal body. I witenessed last weekend someone tripping over a log, then cart wheelled, following buy is nice AEG exploding into pieces all over the place. We checked upon him and he was alright but it took a while to pick up all the smashed reciever body parts. It is the first time I have seen an M4 in so many places at teh same time!
  20. Read lots and ask questions. Do not buy the first that that jumps up at you, but hey it is your money. Go for days airsofting and meet others who will show off their toys and gear.
  21. This charger/discharger has been serving me well over the years. Just make sure you buy a genuine one!
  22. A decent charger will last for years, worth researching.
