So, as kind of a 6 month update on a three year update, i thought i'd chime in... Martin has left now completely. He suffered some serious bereavement over xmas, losing his mum and his son. Which is s shit sandwich in anyones books. Jon has full control now and Dimitri (the mad russian) have been busy beavers. The village has been extended with extra structures and cover, the trenches have been redug, the safe are has lighting and the marshalls are on point. Which is all good. The toilet block is STILL coming but alas has not made an appearance yet. The hill is still a killer (and i'm not getting younger!!). The shop is getting bigger and the food is getting better each time i go, although the lunchtime queue can be a bit painful. They've been trying to put on night games and Milsim type stuff, but i believe Jon has been uber busy sorting out the shops at several other sites. I still go on saturdays when i can as i usually have the boy and his "hangers on". Havent been on a sunday for a while.

Me and one of my mates were there (in the sleet n bloody cold!). Havent actually played there yet! Everyone seemed to be having fun. At least the parking and the seating is good. We've played the one up the road from there (dogtag, i think).

Greetings oh hive mind... I have a few leaky valves on various things and i'm wondering where everyone gets their valves from? Or is it worth buying a set of the microscopic o rings and trying gynaecology?

So...after three different outfits, light grey, dark grey and bronzed black, I gave up and went mainstream..... It's not much to shout about but 1.1j and not too bad to look at now.. 😁 Cheers for the ideas. 👍😁

Oddly, I was in there yesterday. We ventured into London for some moon experience exhibition thing with some visiting friends and happened to be walking past. Lots of TM stuff in there (with tags to match) and the guys seemed ok. Nearly bought an m93 until he pointed out it was an aep. 🤢

It doesn't matter. As long as you like it, it's all good 👍 And inside a year you'll have one of each anyway.....😁😂😂

My favorite little unknown shop. 😁 Tiny little unit in the arse end of nowhere and I love it. He's got a LOT of stuff in, mostly nato with a smattering of weird and wonderful. Oh and some really cool bikes (his other business is repairing and servicing bikes). So some dpm trousers and a gsxr1100 may take some explanation to the Mrs ...😂 Went down yesterday and as always he was happy to let me n the boys just go nuts. 😂

When my boy slapped his mp5 handle off, we looked at it for a while, then tapped the tube, drilled and tapped the "knob" then cut a bit of stud to the right length, thread locked it into position and job done. He can hk slap to his hearts content. Which he obviously doesn't do at all now. 😂😂

I'm stoked. My project pew has been delivered. I've always wanted one and now I have stage one..... 😁😁😁😁😁😁

When you Chrono the gun the marshall should tell you if you have an med or not. At 1.16j you're still in auto/AEG territory. Have you worked it out or have you chrono'd it? On what weight ammo?

My boy has the same issues... he's 13 and slight. So he's tried all but one of my pews in my armoury. The L96 is nearly as tall as he is, so he's not bothered. He sports a P90. Sometimes with the M4 mag adaptor on it, making it a sub machine support weapon!!! LOL. He's had a Ump45 and i ended up cutting the stock down and making it shorter so he could use it. He tried the M904G i have and seems to enjoy using it (although it is a beasty so that's probably why!) and regularly sports his pistol and a riot shield because he's nuts. He tried the AK47 and being a cyma its light but too long, making his arms ache. The G3 was a 10 minute wonder and is WAAAAY too long for him. TLDR: P90. Tune it and it wont matter, cos you'll be unstoppable.

Jees, didn't even know this was here. (Oddly my first Saturday job as a kid was right next door to that. ) Is it any good? I've heard random rumblings about hassle there but I'm not one for believing hearsay.

I've had a whipround in the workshop and ive got £2.86, 3x M6 washers and an inline crimp. Should just about cover it.

I've ended up with a G&G combat machine. Convoluted deals and swaps and somehow i've ended up with a rather long, dull looking G&G combat machine. It has the OEM mosfet on board (auto/3 shot) and i've done the shim/greased/compression parts thing, so "it shoots good bruh". Only it looks a little, er, generic m4. Which it is, i grant you. Most of my toys on the wall of joy are different (aug, G3, Ak47, P90, M90x honey badger) but i fancy either painting it in an odd ball colour, ie, silver/chrome or aircraft grey. just as i like things to be a bit different to every other ball slinger on the field. Paint is not an issue, i live near a model shop (where all the lads in there actually do airsoft anyway!). Anyone painted their pew in a different manner to "oem black" or "random rattle can camo"? I'm in the FB group "rattle can that sh*t" but all they seem to be interesting in is camo and toes. 🤠 Its that dull i dont even have a picture of it yet.

Welcome back to the fray. Sidcup is about as far into "Londinium" as i go as i went once and it seemed to be full of strange people, so i avoid it now. And i live in dartford, so i know what strange means.... There's a few sites around north Kent (garden of England my ass!). Ultimate wargames in Fawkham (think brands hatch and you're not far off) Should be my regular site considering its a whole 2 miles from me.. Apocolypse 249 down the M20 near maidstone (sittingbourne, banjo country) my regular site and i like it as i can take the boy on a saturday as they have U18's days. Red 1, Chislehurst. Not been to that one yet, more CQB than trees i've heard. Invicta airsoft, nice site, good food too. Gunman airsoft, down in tonbridge. Yet to try this one and looks to have some interesting takes on milsimmy type stuff.

Take my AUG for example.... Head is RIGHT NEXT to the damn gearbox when youre using it. Original TM gearbox was the typical AEG noise box and wasn't great. Shimmed it properly, new gears (after the sector ate itself with the addition of a new spring ) and a decent splodge of grease (i use CV joint grease on my gears). Sounded ok. So then i went mad and added some dynamat inside (have to say, not the nicest of jobs but it works!) and then a Warhead motor. The barrel stops short of the end of the "suppressor" so it dissipates some of the pop of the tightbore. Its quiet. Not HPAw quiet, but enough to get comments on it. Now if i could just get it to fire in semi, instead of just auto, life would be awesome.... 🤣

We're trying to print it on its side next. Got one shot out of it and the body snapped in two...

We had to put the infill up. I think it was 100%. Are your caps held on with bolts or screws? We used teeny tiny screws and I think it weakened it a bit.
