And just to add insult to injury, the warhead base has had its positive wire chewed up getting it in and out of the aug. Hanging on by about three strands. Have removed it and thrown it down the garden.

Ok. So first up, bugger. Tooth missing from the sector gear. I'd short stroked the pick up but it looks like it short stroked the last tooth on the release side all on its own...😒🤭

I marshalled a few times, i think as i was quite sensible and had my head screwed on. You need to know the site very well, as you'll get the same question about 90 times "where's respawn?" Agree with the memory and attention span thing, yup, the game brief was for them to be listening, not looking at daves new NGRS/HPA whatever. You need to be able to have a laugh too. Dont get too chummy with the regulars, that can be seen as favouritism and be prepared to get shot. A LOT.... Hi-viz=easy target!! Have the confidence to talk on a radio. Some people are shit scared of them. If you can get people to enjoy it, whilst not being bell ends (and we've had a few super special ones at my usual site--the guy who wasnt hit calling turning his M4 into a cricket bat and swinging at a 12 year old kid--was kinda the pinnacle of knobheadism, if you can keep your cool then you'll love it. Its certainly a different angle to the usual playday. Enjoy it if you do it. Its a laugh.

I get where you're coming from, and that's what i thought, but it was firing perfectly before.... I haven't done a video as I'm knackered and we have a full on audit at work, so not high on the priority list. I did some digging and also some thinking....at my age i have to plan these things.. I recently started using midcaps. I'm not a fan of them as they feel horrible. However, i do wonder if the midcaps have mangled the feed tube into the hop. They've never fed right and as i was short of mags, i kept trying them just to see if it was me being a hicap slob. So, when i get off shift on Thursday, I'm going to strip it down and have a look at the tube, nozzle and hop, to see if they're all playing nicely together. I have ordered a metal feed tube anyway, as I've modified pretty much every thing else on this thing, so why not. And I've heard good things about them. The "dent" thing in the top of the hop chamber might be a good move too. I'll see what happens on Thursday..

The 'What have you just bought' Thread

On my quest to have a British icon on my hip, I have purchased a welrod 3d printed kit for my surplus to requirements AAP01 from @VonGrimm. Have to say, it's bloody well made and some thought has gone into it. Needed a little adapter and a bit of a tweak (bolt release) and I'm 80% there. Just need to make the trigger housing disappear and make the trigger look like a water pistol now...😁 (Mag base is a lesson in "what colour filament do I have in the printer" for me! Lol. 🤣) -

Pretty Pew. 💌 On a slightly weird tangent, i cant watch the Tomb raider stuff and lust after finding out that the main character was based on my sister in law.... 🤯 Seems the guy that came up with the idea had it nicked off him by the game company and he fancied the pants off my (now) sister in law. All those years of watching that little ass.... Did the real Lara Croft work in a Bexleyheath Safeway supermarket? | News Shopper Apparently they settled "out of court" for a few quid... -
Sorry guys, no video, she's had me building a patio all day. 😒

Yeah, I'll get a vid tomorrow,I've had a beer now and likely to hate it more if I fire it now .🤣

I still have the issue on a 7.4 20c. It's not overspin (unless the arl is catching on the gears, hmmm) I'm going to rebuild it shortly anyway, might need a new switch carrier if it's not disconnecting the semi properly.

18:1, two teeth off the release side.

It comes in waves, doesn't it? It's all hunky dory and you're dinging people on the field with your "different to an M4" pew and then it lets you down. 🤣 So. Aug. It's a tm v3 with non tm gears in it and a 28k warhead. It runs on a 7.4v unless I'm in a daft mood, then the 11.1 comes out to play ... So on semi, it's lobbing 2 or 3 out the barrel. Not actually firing per se, just kinda throwing them out. I've changed the hop rubber in case it wasn't holding on properly, but no joy. Would my thinking be right in that if there was slack in the bushes, it may not be activating the cut off lever, as semi also doubles up as full auto, when on the 11.1v? Nothing physically changed other than the hop rubber, so I'm thinking something is worn. Dropping the box out, I can move the shafts in the bushes and they just look a bit sloppy to me. @ak2m4 will be getting a visit shortly I think, but I thought I'd ask the collective first.... I have heard things about the feed tube too but I think that was just not feeding at all.

Where's the fun in that? 😁🤣 All Airsofters collect stuff to go with each pew so theoretically there should be loads of STUFF for loads of pews. Well, that's my theory and I'm sticking to it. 🤣🤣🤣
-
Ok. Minor update: tried all the pews vertical. Seemed sketchy as hell, so took them all off and started again. Even managed to get the new shotgun up there. It's Like expensive Tetris. 🤣 I've managed to bin a load of toot that I had hanging around (the famas might be in there soon if I can't get it working properly!) . Progress..... tomorrow at work I'm gonna cut down some slatwall brackets to do the pistol sticking out of the wall thing (they're 4.7mm so should be fine) and then it's clear up of the rest time....

Ok, so looking at gav's set up i need to invest in some slatwall clothes hangers too. I'm liking these. A LOT. And maybe another 100 or so pews. LOL (edit, oh shi*, may have just bought another two....) @gavinkempsell your pistols, are they just on single sticky outy rods that poke down the barrels? And TPH is correct, you may need a pith helmet in there...

Jeeeesus. I thought I had issues.🤣🤣🤣 That auto9 landed yet? 😁 You pretty much have every pew on my mental list of things to buy!!!

Aug. Check P90. Check. Famas. Check . 🤣🤣🤣 Love it. 😁

You know, that aint a bad idea. I hadnt thought of that. I was looking at the open square type shelving units with boxes in so i can label them too. Vertical is a damn fine shout though sir. 👍

Ahhh, falling into the rabbit hole time.. I started with one double eagle M904G, if youre looking at electric. There's a thread on them if you do a quick search. Last count on the wall there was something daft like 15 pews. 95% work. LOL. All bar four were bought as boneyard. I do find it funny that most airsoft guys i meet have an electric rifle, gas pistol and a spring shotgun/sniper. its like you need one from each set. Then theres the HPA mob (i've yet to venture into this incredibly deep rabbit hole myself!) i suppose you could class it as gas powered on steroids. I have a three shotguns. Two have a single barrel and one is a three barrel. The single barrels are fun but the triple? three times more fun. seriously daft. I love it. Its heavy to cock, and both my boys struggle to do it as its a big ass spring inside it (still inside power limits I hope!). They're cheap and fun.

Morning Clan. How we all doing? Good in your hood? Cool. So last night i went looking for something. Nothing of particular importance but i looked at the pile of stuff that i have amassed and thought, like frankie after he got to hollywood, "theres got to be a better way". All my pews are on slatboard, which is nice. Obviously SWMBO isnt keen but i care not as this is the games room and its mine. However, all the associated detritus that goes along with a pew seems to be now taking over and fills half the floor and a large plastic box (remember COD zombies? the jingly box... ) . Me and both my boys play, so we have a fair amount of STUFF. How do people store all their gear? My camo gear is in a drawer, thats no problem but webbing, hats, tools, mags, gas, balls, projects, all that good stuff that we like to accumulate..... Ive been looking on BIGDUG and places like that for ideas but interior design is her thing and she'll just skip the lot if she got a chance... Pic shows the slat board and also the top of the jingly box, the plastic box of console games should be moving shortly to the other side of the room, BUT, STUFFFFF!! JUST STUFFF!!!!!

What have i made? Well yesterday i made a mess of my chrono by trying to test the output of my trishot. Which didnt end well. I think i may be in the market for a new chrono......
