  1. Just feel like updating this thread a bit as it's over 3 years ago that you guys went to apocalypse.... Martin has handed the site over to Jon (modern warrior shop guy) and I have to say, if he pulls off his plan to improve the site, the numbers will increase ten fold. And he's building a toilet block!!!! Wooooo!! Still got a fun vibe about the place, too. Although that hill is a killer every time! I can only make the Saturday games usually but have done a few Sundays. Both have their merits. The sundays can be utterly bonkers with 140+ players. From the noob (me) to the nonnoob it's a laugh. The grubs good (new burgers are awesome) and any aggro gets dealt with pretty well. Some of the games are confusing as hell but I think that's just me getting old....lol.
  2. What are you looking for? I fitted a cheap MOSFET to my tm aug a few months ago. Made a difference. 👍

  4. I'm on my third Alfa Romeo. Wife had a 159, I had a 147ts and now I have a giulietta qv. It's very silly. I liken it to being married to a super model. 80% of the time it's awesome. 10 % of the time it's trying to bankrupt you 10% of the time it's trying to kill you... 😁🤪😂
  5. That's gorgeous. I had a Silvia 14a and always wanted a 4 door skyline. Or a stagea ...😁
  6. I think most of them are the same. Just rebuilt an ics mp5 and that got a jg one fitted to it. It needed a little fettling as it was a touch too big for the hole but the rolled pin holding it in fitted. You still got the old one? I've drilled and tapped an m6 thread into one before and just used a cut down shank bolt. A lot stronger than the chineseium metal.

My boy has managed to lose his butt plate off his mp5, with the fixed hollow stock. If anyone has one and would like to sell it on, I would be grateful. As would he, as it stops his house brick battery falling out...😂😱😁 Thanking you muchly. Ian.

  8. What can you get these days for £20? Bag of 0.32's? Half a five guys burger? Today I landed two boneyard pistols. For a score. One is a valken avp17. (Silver one) Gbb pistol of questionable looks but hey, same as me really. It wouldn't rack. Couldn't get the topslide off. Turns out to be two filthy bb's jammed in the topslide release mechanism. Cleaned, unjammed and now hoping 0.28's happily.😁 0.7j. Second one is a SAI BLU AEP Electric Pistol (MOSFET – by Cyma – CM135UP). Yup. That's a mouthful. Never had an aep. New experience for me. Has a dodgy connection somewhere inside but managed to get a few shots into the Chrono. Probably needs 0.2's as 0.5j is a bit meh. Not a fan of the gold shiney bits either. Strange sensation aep's, aren't they? 😂😂 Anyway. Pics.
  9. Yup, already in that group. 😂😂😂
  10. https://www.theargus.co.uk/news/23685737.sussex-police-issue-warning-air-guns-reports-firearms/ Either a slow news day or some muppet waving a rif. We don't need people like this..... (Also had to chuckle at the two tone bit)
  11. I've got an old G&G one that my youngest uses. Its a bit fiddly to strip down and a tad heavy for him (he's 10) but to be honest it just keeps on rocking along. Its been abused---i think im the third owner--- and has had no upgrades (yet ). I dread to think how many bb's have travelled down the barrel! It doesnt creak a lot but the boy managed to lose the hand grip cover pins..
  12. Site: Dogtag airsoft Crawley Attending: me, mate and the boy Ok, one of my mates has been trying to get me to go to Dogtag airsoft in sunny crawley for a while. I finally had a spare weekend and thought i'd give it a shot. Got there early with a maccy D's (meet up point with my mate and feeble excuse for food!) in hand. The Access road and my car didnt get on much as it got sport suspension and its a tad bumpy. Still, we survived. Gates opened at 8:30 on the button. into the carpark and a short walk to the safe zone to unload a ton of kit. One of the joys of taking your kids, they break stuff a lot, so i take a huge tool box and it just seems to get heavier! First impressions were good, lots of covered stalls and plenty of them too. Set up, signed in easily enough, wristband of the "hairy wrist removal" type and chrono'd the pews. Simples. Safety brief was just that. Safe and brief. The marshal stopped a couple of times to get people to actually listen, which was nice. Tea and water was free issue. YAY! caffeine!! Marshalls were amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. Big group of first timers next to us were asking all sorts of "first timer" questions and were given the info they needed. Daft questions are only the ones you dont ask, right? First game and happy to say, me and the boy were the first 2 to die!!! LOL! Fall back to the next section and await the arrival of the attacking team. Lots of encouragement from the marshalls, lots of skirmishes and firefights. I had no idea the site was as big as it was. The place is HUGE!!! 2nd game was a swap around of the first, learned by my mistakes this time, still got shot in the nuts though. Back to safe zone at the end of the game, reload, needed somewhere to get hot food but apparently thats being sorted out shortly after their usual guy parted company with them. Really good crowd. Good mix of noobs, casuals, nutters and seasoned players. Everyone was friendly. No stitch counters that i could see. I saw very little in the way of blatant cheating. Marshall seemed to be in the thick of it every time i looked which probably helped. The First timers were having an absolute scream and came back to safezone bouncing with excitement (i imagine lots of war stories at work today, wherever they are!). They looked like they had a blast! Good mix of games in the afternoon, some proper up close and personal stuff mixed with long rangey stuff for the bolters. Left knackered and happy. Pros: Great site. Great staff. Great games. Cons: Need a shop on site so i can "win more pews in the raffle " type of thing. Also the Infinity ammo they sell does not agree with any of my pews. Shonky quality but hey, small con really. Conclusion: I'LL BE BACK!!!!
  13. Oh dear God.😱 Some of those are absolutely gorgeous 😍😍😍😍😍
  14. Yup. Working a treat. Desoldered the battery cables and motor cables as I was using new stuff. Deans to the mosfet +-, MOSFET to the motor +- and the two wires for the firesignal soldered to the tabs on the screw on bit by the motor screws. Semi and full auto work perfectly. £15 MOSFET happiness. Cheers for the guidance guys, much appreciated.👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️
  15. If my head reads it right, like you say, the gnu is permanently in semi with an extra set of contacts for auto. So if either of the contacts sees a go signal it will (should 😂) fire. The only difference is the cut off lever on the semi will stop it re-cycling. Mine is a tm (mostly) so looks exactly like that. 👍
  16. Yeah, i looked at those. £116 is worth more than the actual rif to be honest! The cutoff lever (seen at 16:00 as he's undoing it) is what stops the gearbox cycling on semi after one shot. Mine looks exactly like the shot at (11:36) and i'm thinking that the two wires from the hard wired mosfet would connect to the wire terminals that he then unscrews at (11:57) and the mosfet motor output goes straight to the motor. In fact, i think i've just answered my own question in my head by typing that out..... hey, as long as the smoke stays inside the wires, its all good....
  17. Lol. 😂 Ok. So I've been looking at mosfets. I run lipos on everything I own that takes a battery so I'm thinking about going in the mosfet direction. Only my Aug.... It has a switch with two soldered wires. Is my logic right that something like a gate merf will be fine, one wire to each of the mosfet "fire" inputs from said switch and the semi cut off lever will do its thing? Or am I barking up the wrong tree?
  18. You know, sometimes life if just odd. While clearing up all my stuff I found one of those AliExpress gas bottle hpa type things that I'd bought and could never get to work properly.... So I had a play and managed to get it working on my magazine! Lobbing 0.28's at 0.7 joules. Loool. 😂
  19. Awesome news. Thank you. I'll order one and see....👍
  20. Hello gas buddies. I bought a double bell M92 for my first side arm when i first started 'softing. Over time, its been left to the side as i've moved to a mk23 and all its joys. So i thought i'd resurrect the M92 as it kicks like a mule. However...the mag is gas tight. no leaks. But it fires about 10 shots then runs out of gas. I have a new fill valve and gas router on its way, just in case its not filling or its venting tween the mag and nozzle but i'd like to try a WE mag and see if it fits. I imagine, being TM clones, that they might....that way i could have more than one... Ive looked for spare mags but they're pretty much non existent unless you live in Malaysia or china...
  21. Binned. Utter shite. Not having a good week. Lol. 😂😂
  22. Yes. If it hops at all. Shoots left right up down
  23. Nope. Ignore me. It's poo. 😂😂😂😂
  24. I'll see if the manufacturer states a shore number. Hadn't thought about that to be honest. It's currently in my mk23/vsr Frankengun so it'll be a while before I get it up and running properly. Proof as you say, will be in the shooting.😂
  25. I'm not getting any vibration per se, I just wondered if it would cause issues. I mean, I'm amazed my ex wife hadn't knocked all her fillings out with her stuff....🤪
