Building and fine tuning a DMR isn't that simple compared to HPA that's for sure. And you can adjust a hpa on a whim it's just way more comfy. I'm sure polarstar has some engines where you can attach a CO2 capsule or tank. Also, if you have deep pockets you could still buy an used MTW and buy a wraith stock later down the line. You can buy carbon fibre tank for silly money if weight is a real concern. Altough those cheapo 13 CI tanks weight literally nothing so it shoudn't be a big problem. Personally I'd spent the least of money on this adventure because if you don't enjoy it at least you're gonna lose less money on it if you resell it. You could buy used HPA kit or gun as well to be honest. I'm an avid HPA player but outdoor can be problematic because of the line.

If you want to throw BB's further just get heavier ammo like .25 or .28 first and you have to see if you're satisfied with the range and people call their hits or not. Altough lots of watered down stock Marui can shoot quite far with decent ammo and properly set hop-up so you shoudn't have an issue. You could still change your nub/bucking/barrel if you want to.

Used to play every weekend in the first year but airsoft is just way too demanding financially and free time wise. I was like a proper crack cocaine addict. In the second year I played every second weekend. And I dialed it back this year so I manage to play once a month.

Less and less. Simply because the novelty wears off. But I've been playing for nearly 3 years constantly.

1. I run my pistols on 100 psi and they shoot about ~335 fps on 0.20. I assume your bolt is heavier than any of my pistol slides so in theory you may need higher pressure to achieve the same output. I'd go the other way around actually and would start from 75-80 psi because lof of people run their MP7/MP9's on those pressures for indoor which still gives them average 270-280 which is absolutely enough for shooting people close range. But my pistol on 80 psi is sluggish (alu slide is too heavy for it) so it's gonna be trial and error in your case as well. I don't think I'd go above green gas pressure (average is 110-120 psi?) especially not in summer. Basically the more pressure you put on your internals the more they will wear. An HPA engine is a completely different animal compared to a gas gun but going above 120 psi is not recommended even on them and not needed anyway. 2. US is standard but EU fitting does exist. They aren't compatible with each other. 3. I woudn't buy cheap regulator but a Balystik HPR800C or something similar should be enough. Also, that new Airtac regulator can't be bad either.

To be honest if you fancy a realistic MP5 you could go for a Marui NGRS as well. Is it gas? Nope. Is it fun to shoot? You bet.

Every gun can take 11.1v but it's just matter of time before you burn your trigger contacts assuming you don't have a mosfet inside. Generally speaking. You put more strain on your internals on 11.1. If you need RoF then you have to short stroke your gun.

AEP's are just rubbish in my opinion I don't think I'd waste money on them. How it looks is one thing but all of the P90's have mushy triggers (exception maybe the new Marui P90+ or overpriced Krytac) without mosfet and the gun has 0 ergonomics. Magazines are akward to carry. For a lot people just isn't comfortable to shoulder it. But for CQB purposes it has a lot of potential.

GBB MP7 or AEP? GBB has many disadvantages. Mags aren't gonna be light and you need several and they cost a fortune. Questionable performance in cold weather.

Some kind of M4 (either stubby or medium sized) which has polymer upper and lower receiver would suit you the best (probably). Like some cheap specna for example around 100 quid. Cyma uses pot metal basically on every gun (except P90) so they aren't gonna be light. I don't think any kind of AK is gonna be sub 2kg. If you fancy something different you could have a look at PCC's. ARP9 is a lovely gun out of box. You could check SMG's as well. MP5K or MP5K PDW (Marui) are featherweight. Just bear in mind that the trigger is shit on a vanilla V3 gearbox without mosfet.

Marui is gonna release a Gen. 5 G17 in the future. You can still slap a steel slide on it later on.

I used to buy Aim-O but Feyachi is quite good as well. Sotac or Holy Warrior would be a good alternative if you insist on an Eotech clone.

Just look up 5KU. They copy basically everything.

I'd never put silicone grease on a GBB pistol. Silicone oil is absolutely fine and just apply it when you have the most friction between two surfaces. But tons of video about this topic on YT. Silicone grease is good for BCG (bolt carrier group) lubrication.

Part of the sling supposed to be looped into it. But a carabiner (if it fits) or keyring gives you more flexibility.

Another M4? Crazy innovation. They could build literally anything instead of this. 🙄

8Fields is absolutely fine if you want to pay the least amount of money. If you start to spend 90-100 pounds probably a Viper Tactical or some decent second hand offer from the classifieds would be a better option.

G&G Firehawk/Saigo Defense Ronin or something similar.

This could be an alternative. Only tiny piece of mesh to protect your smile. The rest is very comfy fabric.

Solid 20 meter isn't bad from a gbb pistol to be honest. You can do only so much with a metal slided sidearm which has a 90mm inner barrel and can produce average 300ish fps. Ofc there are some exceptions regarding pistols able to hit crazy distances like an NBB Mk. 23 or an AAP-01 built into a carbine kit and using as a DMR but that's a different topic. I put this into my G45 and didn't have venting issues. Could your nozzle stuck on the gas route seal?
