No, but I bought my mp5 from wgcshop and basically ended up paying uk retailer prices after VAT and fees. You're not gonna be better off unless you stay under 135 pounds. What gun you fancy?
-
Yes. Just don't expect fast dispatch. They're the slowest airsoft retailer known to mankind.
-
VFC/Cyma stock should fit.
-
Marui supposed to work on a SIG pistol but I dunno if it's gonna ever happen.
-
This is airsoft gossip based on nothing burger at the moment. Marui could rename it to gp17 and remove all of the trademarks and call it a day and/or pay licensing fee to the relevant company. Umarex doesn't do much regarding airsoft just outsources the manufacturing to third parties. Mainly VFC. The best second thing would be WE because lots of marui parts are interchangeable.

Shortage doesn't mean anything in itself when Marui makes guns in batches. Not long ago you couldn't get an NGRS mp5 in this country or magazines for it for example. Same story regarding Saiga gas mags. Shortage for several months sold out worldwide.

I don't spend money on gear because I don't see the point. What I mean is that I don't need a Sordin for 300 quid or gucci plate carrier because I don't go to war and it doesn't matter one bit if it's branded Viper Tactical or Agilite. Majority of the people you meet don't care what's on you regardless if you try to impress others or not. Hardcore mil-sim events are obviously different but in that case you know exactly what you signed up for. There is obviously some truth to "the buy once cry once" motto regarding gear. Can be a good investment as long as you don't end up in the classifieds trying to get rid of it for a small fortune and no one buys it. 🤣

Anyone had experience with this particular hpa engine and if so any good? Barely any information about this engine I tried to research it but no success. Pulsar S has a horrible reputation regarding misalignment so I'm not sure if I should jump into this one. I need a front wired hpa engine for my rattler so I don't have too many options, sadly. I don't fancy mechanical engines like a Kythera for example. HPA gods please help me. 🙏 Ty.

True. This could've been a badass GBB shotgun. Even if they copy and reverse engineer the marui saiga system.
-
I can't wait to see the scalpers who are gonna buy the last few in stock and try to resell with 200% markup.

Your average redditor is brain dead as f*ck but at the same time reddit can be a gold mine of information if you don't give up digging. 🤓

The real one actually a quite cool magazine feed shotgun in my opinion. Not this John Wick edition but the Genesis. I'm really suprised because I expected an engine with 3 nozzles but probably would be an engineer nightmare plus how it would fit into a body and feed 3 different barrels. Well, this seems like a quick cash grab while John Wick is still relevant. I don't see what this gun's purpose in this configuration.

To start with this isn't a shotgun. It shoots a burst of 8 rounds on semi and I don't know if any indoor site is gonna let this thing inside. Also, putting 8 bb's into somebody is massive overkill I can see it already the arguments about it. Even on low PSI. This is some sort of new Wolverine engine and knowing burst isn't allowed indoor at least in this country I'm yet to see who would be the target audience to buy it. Outdoor connoisseurs?

Nearly all of them are garbage because they're paid shills. I'm afraid to say it loud but reddit has a lot more useful information regarding guns than YT.

I'm not educated enough on this topic but Marui never cared about trade marks, royalties and stuff like that. This could apply to the other 4-5 (?) manufacturers who actually make guns instead of putting logos on them. VFC doesn't care about SIG (I think SIG tried to do the same thing with them (last year?) and they make MPX, MCX, SPEAR etc. regardless ignoring them completely. 🤣 Yes it's not called VFC but we still know who runs the show. This topic is interesting by the way because how jurisdictions and stuff like this work. If they want to take them to court that could take several years, silly amount of money, then appealing etc. Not saying it couldn't happen but it's gonna be interesting to see it how this one plays out.

Check gas route seals. If it's identical shape it should be fine. Majority of the guns are copy of Marui designs especially pistols so magazines are interchangable usually.

Any HPA tank does the job. The biggest difference is weight and size. Carbon tanks are lighter but they cost a lot more. The bigger the tank capacity the more you can shoot with one refill. Obviously your PSI is gonna matter a lot, too, plus some hpa engines are less air efficient than others. Personally I'd absolutely avoid refilling from site compressors because they can get contaminated very easily and you don't want to have dirt in your tank. Cheaper tanks have 5 years expiry from manufacturing after that you need hydro test.

Yeah do 70% of retail plus like 20 quid for paypal and parcelforce 48. I think parcelforce doesn't insure more than 200 quid on base price and you have to pay more to fully insure it. If you end up selling your gun for 500 pounds you're gonna pay like 50 quid on insurance just keep that in mind. 👍

Either MTW Wraith or Polarstar CGS. I don't know about any other system that lets you carry a hpa tank in the stock. That line is only annoying if you have to climb through bushes, crawling a lot etc. Otherwise million solutions out there to fix it to your rig and make it more rigid.

-
Stock pistols usually come with 97mm or similar length inner barrels. I don't spend money on 97mm personally when I can get away with ~106mm for example. More fps on the same pressure but you don't have to hide with suppressor or tracer if you don't want to. A few mil between the inner and outer barrel.

CO2 sucks ass and it's not economical. Not to mention 0 lubrication so your seals need extra attention. But I understand when 0 degree happens and you want to run your pistol without issues. Some pistols can take more abuse on that pressure than others. I can't comment on electric shotguns because I never had one and it's personal preference after all. But Marui Saiga 12k/SBS 100% worth the money. Or if you don't mind pump-action Breacher/KSG could be an alternative.

Yes, no issues. As long as you give an UKARA number shoudn't be problematic when it arrives.

New member looking for gun recommendations

Don't buy into gas as a new player it's simply too much money involved for no benefit. If you're dead set on an AK, I'd spend money on Arcturus, Cyma, Specna (depends on internals).
