I never said you can't but CO2 only makes sense when it's cold because green gas is a lot more convinient and not gives you a headache each you time you refill your mag. If you use your pistol like 99%of of the people (holstered for decoration purposes) I'm sure you can run it forever without issues. 🤣
-
Worth to mention CO2 is absolutely dry there is nothing to lube your seals. And that extra high pressure puts a lot more strain on everything internally. CO2 is primarly for cold weather when regular gases couldn't cycle your pistol anymore and even then you should be gentle. Defo not magdumping all day long.
-
Impossible to answer because it depends on so many things. I think if you can 2 or 2,5 mag on one refill that's pretty good in my book. One of the most efficient pistol I've ever had was an AAP-01 for obvious reasons. There is no slide to move.
-
HPA is the cheapest to run in long term. But upfront cost is 150-160 pounds plus you need a site which refills it for you and not being wankers to charge you for it.
-
''It's massively overpriced, because you can make the same for less yourself" It's funny because it's true.

Biggest issue with marui pistols are that they've got plastic slides and using higher pressure gases can and will crack your slide (it's manufactured for duster gas). Mileage may vary. Out of the box they're the best gas pistols in my opinion. Also, it depends on your chosen platform. If you fancy a Glock a VFC could be an alternative as well. Reliability depends on so many things but I would be more considered about knowing the OEM and able to buy parts if I have to. There is no point buy a replica which I can't fix. GHK's QC on the bottom right now according to everyone so I would avoid it or try to find previous batches from years back if we talk about M4/AK. Also, worth to mention that jumping into GBBR without doing your research is highly unrecommended because it's not practical in many ways and gets expensive very fast.
-
Rule of thumb is that you don't buy anything first gen. Let other people to buy it and later regret it because it turned out it's shit. Silverback MDR-X would be a prime example. And from youtube: "For anyone wondering, this is actually not a KC-02 rebrand but most likely a reworked version of A1A Raptor (which is based on KC-02 but is not the same). Out of the box the SSQ22 is definitely an upgrade compared to a stock KC-02 since it uses VSR buckings, VSR barrel with an improved TDC wheel and a piston that doesn't break during first game." So I was wrong it's not a KC02. Regardless I would never trust novri guns.
-
Novritsch doesn't manufacture anything he only sells overpriced rebranded guns. This gun is just a KJW KCO2 isn't it?
-
HPA isn't an issue. Being a cunt is an issue and you can't help that. Sadly as long as people are involved in this hobby and they're not outcasted and/or punched in the face for good measure for bending rules for themselves because they're narcissistic pricks nothing is gonna change drastically. Sites can only do so much to make it safe for everyone involved. Yes, I agree on tagging absolutely and ban the fuckers if it turns out that they tampered it but at the same time an airsoft site is a very niche business so you have to find a delicate balance between providing and making money on it.

Do I need a Double Eagle M90xx series gun?
Krisz replied to Speedbird_666's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
To be honest I'd buy an M917C UTR45 instead because a.) it's not an m4 b.)it looks cool as fuck and to me it's always looks like a modernised UMP (but actually there is a real steel version of this replica). G&G is so overpriced nowadays it's insane... If you're into DMR bespoke airsoft sells the cheaper m904b version and sells very expensive ones as well. Answering your hop-up unit question there is nothing wrong with a stock DE unit but the plastic ZCI from ak24m is just next level regarding adjustability. I think it's a good investment. Also, I changed hop-up bucking, inner barrel and nub. There is nothing wrong with the plastic/metal parts on the gun but ofc don't expect LCT quality externally. If you're set on M4 I would look around Arcturus as well. They started to make really interesting replicas recently. -
I only use stronger recoil spring when I put a metal slide on my pistol. Otherwise I can't see what kind of improvement is gonna happen. You need something like this: https://www.waldocustoms.com/products/airsoft-buff-hi-cappa-short-stroke-kit. And you have to find that golden middle when it's still snappy but it locks back on an empty mag.
-
If you want to build a snappy pistol you have to short stroke it first and foremost. Generally speaking when you venture into a metal slide and stronger recoil spring you either do it for longevity or because you really want to spend money on it. As long you didn't crack your plastic slide on green gas I'd leave as it is. TM Hi-Capa's can be a real financial disaster upgrade wise because you can change everything on it until the last screw...literally.
-
Wouldn't stretch anything to make it "work". That exact amount of tension is needed to operate it. I highly doubt that a stronger spring makes any difference on your trigger bar. The most important thing is that you don't leave it stretched after a skirmish or if it was cocked for some other reason.

Just be aware delivery cost is massive due brexit. Otherwise they're sound.
-
Such a disappointment from Marui. I expected something unique at least from them. And what they did having all of those resources? AKX and a Glock... Why not an AK12 or AKS(U)? Groza? AMD-65?
-
Double Eagle, some Specna, G&G (if you find a used one because brand new ones are absolutely overpriced), Saigo Defense etc. It's difficult to recommend because everyone and their mother makes one. What's inside is more important than how it looks.
-
Do we know why this one costs 700 pounds? https://www.defconairsoft.co.uk/product/tokyo-marui-akx-gas-blowback-rifle/ I know that they have to make profit but this is insane. For 700 I buy a wolverine mtw and you can't even mention this two guns in one sentence. Also, a TM Mac-10 270?! 🤣
-
TM is a maybe but VFC? I don't think so. You have to look up Hong Kong based airsoft retailers like BoomsArms, Armsaholic, JKArmy, etc. to find custom made slides.
-
I don't think I asked them about anything but had no issues regarding delivery or the product. Some of these HK retailers don't give a damn about you and then on the other hand you've got rainbow8 or ehobbyasia who answer every email.

One thing you wish you knew coming into airsoft?
Krisz replied to ODST's topic in General Discussion
Financial awareness so you don't spend all of your money on airsoft. It's way more easier than you would think. -
That's why I use 300 lumen instead of 1000 on my pistol and never buying flashlights higher than 300 for my primaries. Yes, there is more to it than just lumen but it's not difficult to be a dick regarding flashlights. I had occasions when someone put a strobe on an elevatod platform and your shadow gives away your position even before you peek. I always refrained to shoot other people's equipment on purpose but I was considering it....😎

Strobe is such a cancer feature I'm always against it because it gives you huge advantage against anyone else. It's not fun to play against it and it's annoying. Any decent site marshall mentions and asks if everyone is okay with it. Also, if anyone is sensitive or has epilepsy it's out of question.
-
Yes it's totally dependant. I asked Warzone Coventry yesterday they said as long I don't abuse it and program it back to able to shoot full auto and it's checked regurarly and chronod they have no problems with electronically programmed DMR's.
-
Np. Let me know what kind of slide stop spring you need coz I've got an extra I don't need anyway. If it's important.
-
Hm. I put together a Marui G26 using a Guarder frame with a custom made slide and built a Marui G17 Gen. 4 using Guarder frame and Guarder alu slide. No sanding/issues/swearing. It seems you need luck in airsoft just like in real life. My go to usually Armsaholic, Boomarms, Rainbow8, Ehobbyasia etc. regarding parts. You certainly able to buy parts from Impluse101 but shipping isn't gonna cheap. Marui does only care about domestic market I'd very suprised if you could get parts from them directly.
