Check gas route seals. If it's identical shape it should be fine. Majority of the guns are copy of Marui designs especially pistols so magazines are interchangable usually.

Any HPA tank does the job. The biggest difference is weight and size. Carbon tanks are lighter but they cost a lot more. The bigger the tank capacity the more you can shoot with one refill. Obviously your PSI is gonna matter a lot, too, plus some hpa engines are less air efficient than others. Personally I'd absolutely avoid refilling from site compressors because they can get contaminated very easily and you don't want to have dirt in your tank. Cheaper tanks have 5 years expiry from manufacturing after that you need hydro test.

Yeah do 70% of retail plus like 20 quid for paypal and parcelforce 48. I think parcelforce doesn't insure more than 200 quid on base price and you have to pay more to fully insure it. If you end up selling your gun for 500 pounds you're gonna pay like 50 quid on insurance just keep that in mind. 👍

Either MTW Wraith or Polarstar CGS. I don't know about any other system that lets you carry a hpa tank in the stock. That line is only annoying if you have to climb through bushes, crawling a lot etc. Otherwise million solutions out there to fix it to your rig and make it more rigid.

Stock pistols usually come with 97mm or similar length inner barrels. I don't spend money on 97mm personally when I can get away with ~106mm for example. More fps on the same pressure but you don't have to hide with suppressor or tracer if you don't want to. A few mil between the inner and outer barrel.

CO2 sucks ass and it's not economical. Not to mention 0 lubrication so your seals need extra attention. But I understand when 0 degree happens and you want to run your pistol without issues. Some pistols can take more abuse on that pressure than others. I can't comment on electric shotguns because I never had one and it's personal preference after all. But Marui Saiga 12k/SBS 100% worth the money. Or if you don't mind pump-action Breacher/KSG could be an alternative.

Yes, no issues. As long as you give an UKARA number shoudn't be problematic when it arrives.

New member looking for gun recommendations
Krisz replied to Covert_Bandit's topic in New Players & Arrivals
Don't buy into gas as a new player it's simply too much money involved for no benefit. If you're dead set on an AK, I'd spend money on Arcturus, Cyma, Specna (depends on internals). -
I don't know anything about tournament rules but all of these things has to come from somewhere. The main issue with some speedsofters that when they turn up for a normal skirmish and they try to apply competetiveness (overshooting, prefiring, jump shots etc.) and other people are gonna irritated by them very fast. More importantly they break all of the rules because they have to "win" at any cost. It's very similar when a dude is so immersed in main character syndrome that he doesn't care about other people wellbeing anymore and he yeets or tries to chuck half of kilo stainless steel pyro across multiple rooms.

I only played indoor in the last 4 years and some sites are more filled with speedsofters than others. It really boils down who the regulars are and if the marshalls apply favouritism towards them. Speedsofters play a lot more in tournaments and stuff like that if they're really into competition. But UK scene is very small compared to US for obvious reasons. Banning speedsoft feels stupid for so many reasons but it's not my business so more power to them I guess. If this makes people happy so be it. I rarely have or had problems with them but that's true about the 99% of the people I see when I play. If someone can't behave and it's not addressed straight away that's always on the marshalls...
-
Without them indoor sites couldn't survive though. Speedsofters are absolutely essential part of the playerbase. Majority of them are sound and the rest is taken care of by the marshalls. In my experience the terminators (lads with 5kg gear on them) fight a lot more and getting into arguments with others simply because they don't feel or hear anything. I don't know how many times I saw people to pack up because marshalls had enough of their bullshit. Indoor is all about speed and aggressive playstyle. If people aren't fit to keep up with teenagers/speedsofters they shoudn't blame others. Buddy, moan less and spend more time in the gym.👍 There is this delusion when airsofters think airsoft has anything with reality and they try to apply some muppet cqb video from yt and it turns out it doesn't work because: a.)people are turn up to have fun and they don't give a fuck how many times they "die" and b.)being aggressive wins gunfights because you control angles and access to certain areas. Answering your question after my rant... It's very difficult to balance out an indoor site to 50-50. I don't even know if it's possible because usually you have asymmetric layouts so one side is always gonna be more easy to push from. I think when you have barricades, tyres, half walls etc. it may slow down the flow just a tiny bit. But if you and your team are dead set on realism then there is no point because none of you gonna yolo and speedrun several rooms like a teenager would after a can of monster.

"has a gas leak but easy fix if you know what your doing" It's always an easy fix when you leave it to somebody else to spend money and endless amount of hours to repair it. 👍

I couldn't justify to pay shy 600 pounds for a brand new krytac + 3 mags and that's why I bought it second hand. If you look it stricly value wise Marui P90+ is better. There is no point to buy a stock P90 and then spend hundreds of pounds on internals when a P90+ is about 250 pounds.
-
You can't go wrong with either TM (only if it's P90+, don't spend money on bone stock P90's because trigger is ass on all of them...) or Krytac. I own an Alpine (which is pretty much identical to a regular Kry P90 minus the side rails, colour, and low profile rail kit) and one of the best P90 I ever handled to be honest. Adjustable trigger is insanely good. 50/200 rounds magazine is a nice touch as well. Doesn't shoot on empty. It's just on another level. They don't need anything to be upgraded. Marui runs forever as long as you leave it stock. Yes, Krytac has many proprietary parts I think that's the only downside to choose over Marui. Never had Novri P90 but their customer service has a horrible reputation just bear that in mind before you jump into one.

I'd personally buy a HC because altough fps is low you're compensated by good rate of fire. I think it's pretty light as well I don't think it's more than 2kg. And if you keep it stock it runs forever. Also, used good deals pop up sometimes so you don't even have to pay retail prices if you're not in a rush. Unless you fancy a spaceship cyma mp5k with really questionable mosfet: https://www.patrolbase.co.uk/cyma-cm-041l-smg-5k-m-lok-upgraded-version. Probably a Mk23 or any pistol is "better" than a mp5k simply because less weight and you can holster it a lot easier. But I never played as a sniper so... 🤷♂️

People are skint more than ever and airsoft is a luxury hobby plus you don't need a new RIF every week compared to bread or milk. Brick and mortar shops are deemed to fail since amazon and other online retailers turned up. They killed high street shops nationwide. There are other reasons ofc but people are already mentioned it.
-
MP5 NGRS has a very nice build quality and full of features (probably the most reliable EBB at the moment) and you're always able to find good deals if you buy a used one. That's the only NGRS model when I could justify 450-500 quid if you buy it from a retailer.

Worth over £1,300 second hand GUN COMES WITH A 5 YEAR WARRANTY WITH THE MANUFACTUER Yeah, sure buddy. https://www.usedairsoft.co.uk/rif-s/full-loadout-sig-sauer-mcx-virtus-pro-with-flashlight-suppressor-foregrip-tracer-unit_i66265

To my knowledge two major paths exist regarding AEG's (in general). Trigger response build: high torque motor, 13:1/16:1 gear ratio (some say there is no or minimal difference between them) and ofc a proper mosfet which let you precock. ROF: short stroked piston head, dsg set, high speed motor and ofc you need a mosfet for a better trigger response. Only so many things can be done regarding range: quality inner barrel, decent hop-up bucking and nub and quality BB. Aftermarket hop-up units let you dial it in very precisely how much pressure you apply on the bucking.

Help! Decent OD Plate Carriers / Armour for our team
Krisz replied to Herrgh's topic in Guns, Gear & Loadouts
If you're cheap like myself Viper Tactical makes decent gear. If you want to spend the bare minimum 8fields isn't bad either just don't expect RS quality. -
Knowing how dogshit the MDR was at launch I woudn't preoder anything from them but hey it's your money. 👍

EBB? In that case I'd spend money only on Marui.
