    I love my tac 41.
Nothing more than a £16 spring to up the power ( to UK limits) plus a Longbow bb Chub nub and out of the box it will hit 70m targets with .43-.45g no problem.

You can spend more if you fall in love with it like me, but it's not really needed.

Loved mine out of the box, ok it was fitted with 100nm spring and longbow chub nub but otherwise std.
    .43 on number 3 with chubnub @ 70m

Treated myself last week to a sap piston from Longbow which Im surprised at how much quieter it is
( can't tell on my utube vids  so much but you do notice in the flesh)  and consistency and accuracy is yet further improved .

    Love my tac41.

I'm fairly new to airsoft having started in Sept.
One of the things that got my attention was rate of fire, in that it excited me. I wanted to buya fast firing rif.
I recently bought a chrono Purely to see the rps of mine and my sons ( box std) arp556.
His was 15rps and mine is 13rps.
This surprised me as I thought it was much higher.
Given the amount of bb I can get through in a day I don't want anything faster and really can't see why more than 20 rps would be needed?
Infact my preferred rate is now 3 round burst as its plenty.
Full auto is only for non callers now.

I've no problem with those that want to go faster or what propels them.
Only real problem I've come across is the drum mag users.
Granted I use high caps at 350 rounds but they are nothing compared to what seems minutes on end from the drummers, from behind their cover !
Really slows or stops the game some days.
I've also noticed bar post teen walk ons, it's seems the drummers are the ones who don't call hits more often?
I sniped one drummer with 3 body shots Sunday from about 40 - 30m as he did a terminator walk across open ground. On the 3rd hit he turned and sprayed me. I just stuck 2 fingers up at him but also then got head shot by a fellow sniper lol so I called hit and off i went.

I've never been a fan of banning things as the issue is usually the soft fleshy bit holding it. I'd rather sites booted those who act like twats, whether it's not calling hits, overshooting or something else

I suppose you'd have to apply to be a support gunner so you'd take your gun up to the desk or maybe the ammo would get issued and roles assigned at the chrono and they'd decide if you qualify. This is all getting very milsim esque for a regular skirmish day though

As a HPA sniper (best of both worlds!), I'll add spring snipers to that list. Plenty of spring snipers who go for headshots, try to inflict pain because it's "funny" and ignore their MED.

Not all HPA users are dicks, just like not all dicks are HPA users.

Blasters have been banned from a few sites because inregular shapes and a habit of shattering if you used them exclusively I think they're what caused your issues rather than the gun it's self.

Chicken pie reacted to GeorgePlaysAirsoft in T.M. AA12 shotgun
They are a novelty gun for sure but quite fun, so fun that at one point in time i had 2.
    Downsides:
    - Only one of the 3 barrel has hop applied vertically.  After mine broke I sent it for repairs and whilst it was in, had the hop modded so all 3 barrels have vertical hop and a heavier spring in there to take it to whatever 250fps with .2g is to 1j. After that, I used .28s
    - As above, I can't honestly claim them to be reliable guns. Mine has broken twice, each instance a gearbox jam. The first occasion was caused by bb's getting jammed, the second occasion I don't know...as I haven't gotten it fixed yet!
    - I didn't have a great experience with the drum mag, it would fail to feed too often and sapped the fun o meter. I used it maybe twice and then switched to carrying (lots) of standard mags, which hold 90 or so bbs which, quick maths, gives you 30 shots which is far from ideal. gbbr people can say what they want but i haven't heard anyone using "realcaps" in a "normal" aeg in well over a decade
    - I should note that at the time i was using blaster bb's or whatever, I don;t use them anymore for other reasons but this contributed to me becoming a bit of a geoffs fundamentalist
    - the rear sling mount is a real weak point. look for a "full stock sling adapter" if you want to sling

I ran .25s in mine (it will hop .28s but it's a support gun so why wasn't money on heavy BBs?), it takes AAAs to run the mag 4 I think( they will last more than a game day). It has 3 individual hops, it can be accurate to 40ish metres, it can lob over 50 metres just don't expect to hit what you are aiming for. Down sides it's complex and the gearbox casing is a weak point so don't abuse it( parts are almost impossible to get unless you speak Japanese. unless they hurry up and release the Chinese clone), do not run anything over a 7.4v lipo battery, the drum is well built and reliable but it's not auto wind so you need to remember to hit the wind button after long bursts (unless you fancy some electronics work). After all that yes they are really fun and I regret selling mine.

I've been spending a bit too much time on YouTube searching for reviews of the guns I've been considering buying, and there are some damned good people out there.  And some very under-appreciated / under-subscribed channels that I think deserve a wider audience.
So here are a few links from my subs list:

First up is Rock Bottom airsoft.   A mix of reviews, tech help and gameplay.  All well made.  Only possible criticism is he might ramble a bit at times, and does re-iterate his points (in the time honoured presentation skills fashion) but he seems to come up with intelligent and useful stuff rather than click-baity rubbish.    How he's only got 350 subs is a damning indictment of how unfair YouTubery is.

Then there's this Polish chap, Maniek44 who provided an excellent review of the gun I ended up buying (well, a model up the range, but basically the same), so he gets his name in lights for doing me a big favour with one video

And there's Pheas Airsoft with good reviews and also upgrade how-to's and tests.

Ooh la la!  Oioi Airsoft  One of them Frenchies who can speak Anglais? Don't mind if you don't but I do - he's good at reviewing stuff

There's the usual suspects... new airsofters might not know of these yet... some of them are rather Marmite, but y'know "any port in a storm" sometimes they have content you just can't get anywhere else.

Eh. You might be done after a motor swap, that's why I suggested that first.  I've been pleasantly surprised by the boost in response and ROF just from dropping cheap Big Dragon M140s into my AEGs, without doing anything inside the gearboxes, or going to 11.1V.

Still, having a stock backup is always a good idea, and there's certainly nothing wrong with shifting the Firehawk to the back of the bag.

Chicken pie reacted to Rogerborg in G608-4 low fps
First thing I'd do is to get some silicone lube (liquid or spray), take it apart, and put the lube up the nozzle and swish it around.  Then I agree with checking the hob rubber while you let the lube sink in.

Then blow the lube out of the nozzle with an auto burst (which should also get some on the nozzle o-ring if you have one) until it shoots clear and dry before re-assembling.

Might help, might not, but it's quick and easy to try before stripping the gearbox.
