Oh yes! When it worked it was such a ferocious beast. Lots of metal on metal. Good clunky AR trigger, bolt dragging over the hammer and it’s metal nozzle coming down on the chamber like a hammer on an anvil. I think that was one of the keys to its roar, the metal nozzle.  
 
The Marui M4 has too many plastic components that act like dampeners and those roller bearings don’t help.

In terms of protecting the pace box, you could just get a tightish T-shirt and your local seamstress to sew a pocket on in the correct place, pop a small D30 (cardinal hip protectors are pretty flat) or other flexible armour pad of your choice in, or even cut a little camping mat to size and bam! £90 saved on protection vest and armour?
 
Again though, this is just my musings and you should do all due diligence and pay no real attention to this 🤷🏼‍♂️

Nobody there will give a stuff how you got it, so long as you're circumspect about how you transport it there.  In the boot of a car, fine. If you carry it on a bus in a gun shaped bin-bag while wearing camo and whispering "Soon, mighty Satan, soon", that might not go so well.
 
Check with the site about their age limits: you'll almost certainly need a parent or guardian to sign a consent form.  Some sites (or their insurers) might not be too happy about you playing solo under 16.  It's very much site dependent though, andif you're half sensible, and take your hits, they might not be hugely bothered in practice.

Sadly our taxes will pay for the whole lot going up in flames.
 
What I'd do is discharge it as far as possible using my iMax, bury it in the sand well away from any structures, then while wearing eye protection and gloves, drive a nail through it and enjoy the show.
 
I am 100% not recommending that.  Death is certain. But it's what I'd do.

Yeah, I'd want to be sure its got no energy left before disposing of it.
 
A nail though it will ensure its dead and could provide some entertainment too.

I had an amazing day today. Found out that my first ghillie suit DEFINITELY works. Not only did I have multiple instances of people looking directly at me and not seeing me, but I also had around 15 - 20 mins in a rolling assault where they had cleared my team out and were swarming all around me to keep engaging with my team who were moving back. Their respawn was literally 3m in front of me for about 5 of those minutes and nobody saw me. I was so worried someone was going to either see my boots or step on/trip over me as they came REALLY close.
 
Waited until their respawn moved a bit further past me down the path, repositioned and started plinking people with my VSR, much to their confusion.
 
Was a fantastic day. Easily one of my top 3 moments in this hobby over the last 15 years. The adrenaline was insane and my heart was pounding the whole time xD

Best thing to do with it is to take it to the local tip, all should be offering a battery recycling option.

Provided you don't try to charge it, and treat it gentle it should be fine to transport. If it is worrying you then transport it buried in a bucket of dry sand.

So i re-shimmed the bevel today with the above method. I ended up adding one of the very fine 0.1mm shims to the total with 1x 0.1 on the 10 tooth side and about 1mm worth of shims on the broad side of the bevel and results seem very good tbh.
 
While it doesn't sound much different, you could see originally the pinion was riding with a gap between the teeth; the rearrangement brought the pinion downwards sitting nicely into the bevel teeth. I also found that with the new shim config, backing the motor height screw out a 1/4 turn gave the new sweet-spot.
 
The optimal pinion/bevel engagement honestly seemed to be 100% of the shims on the broad side of the bevel, however that caused the bevel and spurr to make too much flat surface contact and I also don't like the idea of running one side totally shimless with bearing bushings - therefore the single 0.1mm shim went in.
 
Overall very happy with the result - I think it should preserve the Lonex pinion gear for some time to come.

Safe handling ect can be done dry. As for target practice. Its an airsoft gun lol a fly farting will put the bb off course 

That's not particularly re-assuring.
 
Not many people have access to their own private car park.

Quite a bit of that around at the minute.
